Since then, Carissa's attitude has changed. Usually he is warm to anyone now becomes cold and more silent. Carissa still remembered very well the actions of Barra when he took his crown. The physical pain left behind by just a few days was gone. But his heartache still persists until now.
Carissa had never been in contact with the Barra family again. He always avoids if Jenny and Kay accidentally come to his boutique even with work reasons. Both of his parents until now do not know why Carissa suddenly changed as it is now. Carissa is also very secretive and does not want to tell anyone about her problems.
“Ma, Rissa leave for the boutique first.” Pamit Carissa to her mom who is still busy in the kitchen.
“Lho how early in the morning? No breakfast first?” Ask Silvia.
“Rissa is busy once Ma today. yes Rissa has left first. Taxi is waiting.” Carissa said and immediately went out of the house after kissing her mother's hand in reverence.
Carissa had gotten into the taxi that had been waiting for her in front of the house since a few minutes ago. After that the taxi went to Carissa's destination.
The taxi stopped at the edge of a suburban lake where it was not so crowded. In fact, the purpose of Carissa is not to the boutique but to the lake. After Carissa paid for her taxi fare, she went out and headed for the seats available by the lake.
The atmosphere of the lake this morning was quite quiet. In addition to today's working day and no visitors here, the lake is also far from the city crowd. Carissa chose this place to calm herself.
Carissa sat in silence while looking at the still calm lake water. The air around was very cool through the deepest recesses of Carissa's heart. Although lately his mind was raging, at least by breathing fresh air on the edge of this lake made him relax a little.
Quiet long enough to make Carissa long to shed her tears. The shadows of the incident still dance in her brain. She felt as a despicable woman unable to maintain her chastity. Although Barra said the reason for doing so, Carissa still did not accept it.
“If you want to cry do not be detained. Just let it out let your heart calm down.” Said someone who suddenly sat behind Carissa.
Indeed, there are two chairs with positions to back each other. You can look at the lake and see the park. And Carissa subconsciously followed someone's orders. Carissa cried with her voice out though not loudly. After that Carissa felt a little relieved because it was all this time she kept her own problems.
“Who are you?” Carissa asked after realizing that someone was sitting behind her.
But the man was still in the same position. Not looking at Carissa. Carissa was surprised by him. He thought this place was deserted, but instead there were others who also came to this place.
“Have denied it?” instead of answering, the man asked.
When Carissa was just silent, finally the man in a neat shirt suit turned to Carissa.
“You?”
Saying simultaneously. It turned out that the man was Xavier. The two do not know each other. But they often meet.
“It looks like we meet often but have not yet gotten acquainted. Introduce my name Xavier.” Xavier said as he extended his hand.
“Carissa.” Carissa replied while replying to Xavier's hand.
Then Xavier stood up and moved to a sitting position next to Carissa facing the lake. Carissa also seemed ordinary when she saw Xavier move places. Somehow Carissa also felt comfortable with the presence of Xavier.
“Do you come here often when you have a problem?” Ask Xavier.
“Ngak. I've only been here 2 times.” Answer Carissa.
Finally, the two of them talked for quite a long time and somehow they quickly got along. Xavier also did not intend to find out about the problems that Carissa was facing, he could still maintain the privacy of someone let alone they had just known.
“then why are you early in the morning also here?” Ask Carissa.
“I was just tired of the office business.so I had intended to leave early in the morning, and accidentally found a very cool and quiet place. I'm finally here.” Answer Xavier.
It turned out that the two of them had been talking for quite a while. And the two decided to re-start their respective activities. Xavier offers Carissa a ride to his boutique, but she refuses and takes a taxi.
“See you again Carissa. Nice to meet you.” Xavier said before leaving Carissa.
On the way to the office, Xavier felt something strange when he met Carissa earlier. And after meeting Carissa earlier she felt relieved and her burden was slightly reduced. Xavier still remembered about Carissa who he thought was very familiar and as he had known for a long time. But Xavier doesn't remember at all.
While Carissa had just arrived at her shop, it went straight inside. Carissa was very surprised when there was Barra who was sitting on the sofa near the cashier table.
“Carissa!” call Barra.
Carissa remained silent and immediately entered her room. Because they don't want to be known by their employees. Barra followed Carissa's footsteps into her room.
“Carissa, why do you always avoid me?” Tanya Barra approached Carissa who was standing facing the window.
“Indeed why? We have nothing to do.” Answer Carissa coldly.
“Did you still not forgive what happened back then? I'm really sorry. I'll be in charge.” Barra.
“I've forgotten everything. So you better not show up again in front of me.” Answer Carissa.
Barra's heart was claustrophobic with Carissa's words. Carissa hated him and could not forgive him. He had intended to answer for everything.
“Carissa. Ilove you. I'll be in charge.” Barra said again.
“Ck, it's easy for you to say love just for the sake of being able to account for the incident.” Carissa said cynically.
“But I really love you Carissa. Before the incident -“
“Enough!! Get out now.” said Carissa sharply.
Barra finally came out of Carissa's room feeling disappointed. He was confused as to what other way to get Carissa to accept him.
As Barra exits Carissa's boutique, she crosses paths with Dhefin who seems to be meeting Carissa. Dhefin clenched his hands tightly when he saw his former best friend had just met his lover. Dhefin pulled Barra's royal collar.
“Ngapain you here?” Ask Dhefin sharply.
“Not your business!” barra.
“Do not ever approach my lover or you will know the consequences.” Dhefin.
“Ck, then how is it different from you who snatch your own best friend's lover?” Tanya Barra is cynical.
“Because it's worth it to you. I warn you once again, don't go near Carissa let alone touch her.” Dhefin.
“I actually touched it. I've enjoyed it, so Carissa is completely mine. Her body and her heart are only mine” replied Barra in a slow yet sharp tone.
“Job!!”
