Refusal

Willy led Billy down from the car. Treating him like a teenage boy is glassware. Willy then led Billy's hand to step into the house with a very heart. Billy is a teenage boy, a whiz who is able to make Willy's heart happier. Having a beautiful daughter, a beautiful wife plus young and also a very handsome son like himself. At the moment, Billy is sick. Willy is very optimistic that Billy will recover soon.

Keyla and Alda follow the rare two men into the house. Keyla looks a little awkward. But Alda's embrace on his shoulder strengthened Keyla's heart to let Billy stay in this house for the sake of his son's recovery.

There was no expression Billy displayed other than a blank stare. He was not interested in circulating his gaze around the house as to which others would do if he first entered the mansion. But his reaction was different when he saw the huge television in the living room. Billy clapped his hands in excitement and then pointed at the television.

"Expensive," he chirped slowly while pulling Keyla's hand closer towards the television. Willy could not help but cry as he watched that. So poor was his ex-wife and son, that he saw the big television Billy clap his hands in joy.

"It's all yours Billy, my hero," Willy said after wiping his tears. Billy ignored the words rather than listened. The boy was just focusing on the television in front he said.

"Mother, Billy better get some rest" Alda and Willy agreed. Alda could see his father grieving, and he himself also felt that sadness. Willy indulges himself with all the luxuries while his mother and sister have to squeeze sweat in order to survive. And worse, Billy lives with bullying friends and neighbors for not having a father and living poor.

"His room is over Auntie's" said Mita. Mita's already preparing a special room for Billy. Room similar to Alda's. He doesn't want Billy's room upstairs and adjacent to Willy and Mita's room. As an ex-wife, Keyla honestly doesn't want to hear the sound of Willy and Mita's romance if she visits this house and goes into Billy's room.

"Does Aunt Keyla have a room in this house?" ask Mita slowly. Willy squinted his eyes at the question.

"Do you think it's necessary?. Willy asked back.

"I think I need om,"

"no need. He'll be home tonight" Willy replied slowly.

"Billy needs Aunt Keyla om. Let him stay here, too,"

"As far as you baby. You are the queen of this house. Keyla's problem is staying here or you're not setting it up" Willy replied. He walked into Billy's room. Willy didn't want Keyla to live in this house. Keyla is an ex-wife who once made her happy. Moreover, they are separated because they are hindered by the blessing of parents. To be honest Willy was scared back there was a sense in his heart for Keyla. Because now his status has become Mita's husband.

"Like her room?" ask Willy. Billy just stared at Willy's face expressionlessly. Willy tries to get closer to Billy. Willy smiled as the teenage boy remained silent.

"Call dad," Willy said again as he pointed to himself. Billy still can't talk. He is still engrossed in his own world. Stare blankly straight ahead and fantasize. "What's the matter, baby?" asked Keyla softly. Mita was really happy to hear that. Keyla treats Mita like Alda. Mita slid into Keyla's arms. Mita used to call him dear. Today, Mita feels like her mother is coming back to life through Keyla. Mita was moved to get gentle treatment from her husband's ex-wife.

"No need to bother Mita, I can't possibly stay here even if you all ask. Billy lives here, because he's supposed to live here, baby" Mita replied, subtly rejecting what Mita said.

"Tante, Billy definitely doesn't want to part from Auntie. Stay here Auntie," said Mita half sulking. Keyla remained in his stance. He will not stay in this place. Willy seemed ordinary to hear the talk of his wife and ex-wife. He also did not want Keyla to stay at his house.

"I'll come in the morning before Billy wakes up and goes home after Billy falls asleep,"

"That would make Auntie very exhausted," said Mita worried about Keyla's decision. Keyla smile.

"For a child, there is no tired word dear. You will be able to feel it after having children" Keyla replied gently and rubbed Mita's face. The two women looked at each other and smiled together.

"Auntie please," said Mita again. Keyla pulled her hand from Mita's cheek and straightened her seat.

"Stop Mita, don't impose your will. I know your intentions are kind and sincere. If I stay here, it'll just drop my pride" Keyla said. Mita no longer dared to force. The softness that had been seen on Keyla's face now disappeared due to annoyance with Mita's request.

"I'll provide a car with a private driver to drive you and pick you up" Willy said after listening to Keyla's refusal. Keyla shook her head. Since Willy's humiliation yesterday, Keyla promised not to accept any help for her personally from Willy.

"Don't turn down Key" Willy asked.

"No Willy. Don't make me look like I'm expecting your help. I stay in my stance. Not as good as the car you have. I also have a car and my own hands that will deliver and pick me up when I see my son" Keyla replied firmly. For her all the attention and help for her was too late. Willy disappointed. He and Mita had so well offered Keyla room and car assistance, but Keyla did not appreciate it. Willy did not like Keyla's rejection. He looked at Keyla cynically. But his heart throbbed pain hearing the rejection.

"Oya Key, as long as you don't remarry. Starting this month, I will give you monthly allowances. If you are married, the allowance will automatically stop. Don't be rejected" Willy said again. But to her surprise Keyla still shook her head. Keyla was insulted by the offer offered by Willy. He is poor at the moment. Keyla also realized, If it wasn't for Billy. "Don't worry about me Willy, Billy and I have suffered so much from poverty. But the last two years my finances have started to improve. I already have a small business that can support me and Billy. Willy went into his study. Willy rubbed his face in frustration. He thinks this is unfair to Keyla. The woman who gave him two hearts. He also suffered from the selfishness of his parents. And that makes Willy even more claustrophobic when he insults and berates Keyla. He should have asked first.
