Keep walking towards the main courtyard. But before that, we stopped at the information board that was displayed in front of the entrance of the temple. The board contains information about the ins and outs of Prambanan Temple.
"We read the story before we go inside." asked Dika
Dika is very realistic. He invited us to read the instructions on the information board.
"Read the history of its establishment first, to stock in so as not to be blind to information" said Dika
We then read one by one the words presented in two languages. The left side is in Indonesian and the right side is in English. But I read on the right side.
"Duh Rara read on the right side" said Ivan
"Yes Van to learn and hone my language. I want to go around the world and be a great diplomat" I said
They both turned to me when I mentioned my mind.
"Diplomat?" ask them both at the same time
"Yes, diplomats are representatives of a country for conferences, world peace, and negotiators" he said
"Where do you know the diplomat from?" ask Ivan
"Read in his book Mas Antong its title 'Diplomat representative of the country'" I said.
They both smiled because for our children who just graduated from Elementary School to mention the ideals if not teachers, doctors, police, soldiers, pilots. But since I was in 4th grade, I've wanted to be a diplomat. Even my Elementary teacher was amazed by my different ideals with others.
"Yes since childhood he wanted to be a diplomat and travel the world" said Dika
My arrival to Prambanan was not the first time. But ever since that message from my feet, my blood has been boiling when I hear the word "Prambanan". Prambanan in the minds of the people of Java or around the temple is also known as Roro Jongrang. This is because there is a myth that appears in Javanese society (read the story of the episode "Dongeng before going to bed").
"Great yes, I just realized that Prambanan Temple is very magnificent" I murmured.
"Yes, he said it was built by Jin overnight" Ivan added.
"No, it must have been built by human power, mobilizing thousands of people" Dika argued.
Dika is indeed in the thought of a thing he is more logical and reasonable. Not long after we arrived at the main guard gate to enter the temple.
"Read this first, before concluding something" said Dika.
The three of us then continued reading the information listed on the information board.
"Nope, Prambanan Temple was built in 856 AD". Trus was built by Rakai Pikatan" said Dika while reading the history section of its establishment.
"Rakai Pikatan?" I asked as I repeated Dika's words.
My blood was like boiling when I mentioned the name 'Rakai Pikatan'. There was a strange shiver that enveloped my body. The name is no stranger to me.
"This temple when rediscovered by the Dutch in a state of severe damage and on top there is a tree yes" said Ivan.
"How can there be a tree above the temple?" ask me innocently.
"Yes probably because it has been thousands of years since it was left the same" explained Dika.
My brain then arranges word for word from the discussion on the information board. Rakai Pikatan, 856 AD, and thousands of stone blocks. I set my foot slowly towards the outer courtyard before entering the main gate. The gate was made of iron painted in green. Beside the gate there is a razor wire circumference fence.
Step slowly and I stared at the highest temple inside. The more I looked, the more I closed my eyes and I called "Om the name of Shiya". Suddenly I felt the sigh of a breeze - sepoi that entered the pores of my skin. I listen to the noise and the murmur of water. I slowly opened my eyes and how shocked I was when I saw this situation.
The view is quite beautiful, there is a large lake filled with lotus flowers. I saw priests and some people wearing nice clothes they used a headband and inking there was a flower chopping keepsake. They bring offerings. They then sat in front of the lake in a large field yard.
The community then placed offerings placed in containers made of pottery and jars - Chinese jars. I then set foot into the lake. Suddenly I saw full of wonder all the lotus flowers were blooming. I wanted to pick the flower and then my shoulder was touched by someone.
"What is my son doing here?" said someone wearing a white robe, tied with a white head, and his handsome face.
"Sorry sir, I'm not here intentionally. I don't know why I'm here either. As I recall, I was having a picnic at Prambanan Temple with my two best friends, Ivan and Dika".
I then searched for them both. But they don't seem to exist. Then I asked in my heart
'Did I enter another world?'.
"No, this Rakyan is your previous world" the priest said then smiled.
"My world before?" my lot is full of confusion.
The priest then took me and asked me to follow him.
"Come with me, Rakyan" he asked.
I stood up and followed him.
"Hmmm.. Pastor why is there a lake in this place? in my world today this place is a vast field, where I and the Hindu Klaten people pray during the Great Awur" I said.
The priest then stopped his steps and then turned to look at me with a smile.
"Yes, in your present world this lake will never appear. This lake will be buried by the lava of the Girinatha". The pastor was sad and bowed his head.
"Pastor, do you know where Prambanan Temple is?" I asked to divert the priest's sadness.
"Brahman Parahyangan, you mean?" the pastor asked to confirm the meaning of my words.
I was still confused, then I remembered that I was in another world.
"Maybe another name for Prambanan Temple is Parahyangan Brahman." I said in my heart
"Yes right but also called Shiva Grha" said the priest
The priest then explained that the temple was used to worship Lord Shiva and his emanation. The supreme god in this temple is Shiva. Shiva is also used to worship Brahma and Vishnu.
I was more and more amazed by the sights and people of old times. Carriage, horses, elephants, their activities.
"It's kind of like Angling Dharma" I muttered
I suddenly remembered with a colossal Indonesian drama titled Angling Dharma. It was my favorite movie every night. I even watched the neighbor's house until night to see it.
"Are you surprised?" ask the priest
I just nodded and amazed. A beautiful and harmonious life. They look happy with the atmosphere in this parahyangan. Their clothes are beautiful.
"Persis is like a Balinese" I said
I noticed that everyone who visited this temple brought an offering. Pheasant dishes, produce, pets, merchandise, and anything they offer with sincerity.
"Pandita, why is this temple called Parahyangan Brahman?" much
"You'll know in a minute, Rakyan" said Pandita.
I'm still confused by Pandita's explanation. Honestly, this makes me more confused. Twice I went into the old world.
The Pandita kept watching and smiling at me.
"Pandita, you haven't answered my question" I said
The priest had not yet answered - a miracle had appeared. The miracle amazed me..
