51. Wedding Day

Today is Bayu and Vina's wedding day. Finally they had set their wedding date, as Thalita suggested that they get married first.

The wedding was held at Bayu's house. The guests and guests have arrived and are ready to watch their wedding. Most of the invited guests were close relatives including Kenan. Rico, who is an old friend, also comes with his wife. He did not want to miss the moment of happiness Bayu this time, considering he could not attend Bayu's first marriage.

Bayu sat with his daughter preparing to make a sacred promise. Bayu loudly uttered the Qabul ijab until the sound of "SAH" was heard from the witnesses making him breathe with relief.

Vina looks beautiful by wearing a white kebaya that forms the bow of her body like the Queen of the royal palace. She walked over to her husband who was astonished to see the beauty of his wife.

The wedding ring was already coiled in their sweet right. Seen happiness on their faces. Thalita did not feel shed tears, sadness and happiness mixed into one.

Kenan who was beside him hugged him tightly. It was as if he knew what Thalita was feeling now.

"Congratulations to Father and Aunt Vina, may you be happy" Thalita said.

"Thank you Daddy's son." said Bayu while hugging his daughter's petite body and kissing her forehead

"Please love." said Vina who also hugged Thalita and kissed her cheeks.

"But kok. call it still Auntie anyway, call me dong right now Aunt Vina is officially your mother" said Bayu

Thalita was silent, her face was sad almost with tears in her eyes.

"But.. Lita has a mother. Even though Mother has died she will not be replaced by anyone" Thalita said

"Lita what are you talking about" said Bayu who was surprised by Thalita's words.

"That's okay mas, I know really well" said Vina with a slightly pressing voice

That was how Vina felt when she heard Thalita's words. She thought that Thalita still could not accept her as her mother.

"But Vin.." said Bayu.

Vina shook her head until Bayu no longer continued.

"Mas, I'm taking a break for a while huh.." Vina wants to leave her room. I can no longer hold back her tears. Bayu replied by nodding his head.

Bayu wants to drive her but Vina refuses, considering the many Guests he has not yet greeted. But when Vina turned around and stepped away, her steps suddenly came to a halt when she heard Thalita's voice.

"Mother." call Thalita

"Can Lita call Mommy?" thalita said again

Vina nodded with a smile accompanied by tears flowing profusely on her cheeks. Vina slowly moved her legs closer to Thalita.

Vina cupped both cheeks of Thalita.

"Sorry Lita can't call Mom" Thalita said

Vina nodded slowly then hugged Thalita tightly. Vina was really happy with Thalita's confession.

"Thank you dear. Mother will always love you as your mother did"

Vina was crying in Thalita's arms, and so was Thalita. Bayun also shed tears because he was happy to see the sight of Mother and Child. Bayu approached them and hugged them.

The guests who watched were also moved. The sound of Kenan's applause blew away that sad atmosphere. Guests applauded the new family.

Now there are no more tears. They all laughed happily, hugged each other and held hands.

Now is the time for them to take pictures to capture this happy moment.

There was no reception at their wedding, considering their no longer young age. But Bayu still held a dinner party and invited his relatives and colleagues.
