A full night, happy cries flowed over dinner this time. What a different atmosphere. Vina was unceasingly smiling as well as Bayu. They are like newly reunited lovers.

But for some reason, Thalita's face was suddenly sad to see them. His tears were unbearable, not that he was unhappy just that he remembered his late mother. He wiped his wet face and smiled trying to hold back despite the tightness in his chest, however he also did not want to ruin this happy atmosphere into sadness.

The conscious Kenan saw Thalita grab Thalita's hand and hold it tightly.

"How about we get out of here, I want to take you somewhere" whispered Kenan

Thalita turned her head and looked at Kenan who was smiling at her. Then he nodded his head slowly at the sign of agreement.

"Of..Aunt.. We say goodbye first.. Kenan wants to take Thalita somewhere if it's allowed" Kenan said asking permission from his future father-in-law.

"Oh yes please Ken, do what makes you happy as long as Thalita is happy." replied Bayu while looking at her daughter with a smile.

"Thank you Om. We say goodbye" said Kenan then moved from his seat

"Dad, aunt... Thalita went first yaa.." said Thalita, she also moved from her seat assisted by Kenan to stand

"Have a good time, baby.. Ken.be careful, take good care of Thalita" Pinta Vina

"Good Aunt" replied Kenan

----

In the car, Kenan drove his car at moderate speed. He wanted to take her somewhere that would calm her down.

"Where are we going" asked Thalita

"Liat aja later" said Kenan with eyes that are still focused on driving

They've reached the place where Kenan is headed. Thalita looked around.

"Beach.." asked Thalita to Kenan.

"Hehem...." Kenan nodded then got out of the car and opened the trunk to take 2 folding chairs.

Kenan opened the car door and held Thalita and sat her in the folding chair that he had prepared earlier.

They sat together facing the sea. Thalita looked in amazement at the beauty of this beach.

"Wuahhhh... Ken, I have never seen the beach at night so beautiful" Thalita said with a look of amazement.

"Look, the sand on the beach is glowing like the night sky is full of stars, even more radiant" said Kenan

"Wuahhh...keren.the water is also Ken's flame? Where does the light come from...?" Thalita was so amazed to see the beauty of this beach. The water was burning blue to make him wonder.

"Hemm.although this is like given the effect of lighting, but these lights are indeed sourced from nature, precisely from marine organisms that are in great numbers" explained Kenan.

"Wahhh.... You are also interested in natural science" said Thalita amazed while clapping his hands

"Hahhaa.thank you thank you." said Kenan as he stood and bowed with his hands placed on his chest as if he were on stage.

Thalita who saw it laughed. Kenan was satisfied because he could make Thalita laugh. Kenan returned to his seat and sat down next to Thalita. He looked at the girl and said

"You know, why am I taking you to this beach?"

Thalita shook her head, because she did not know what Kenan would do here.

"I saw a fake smile on your face. I want you to throw away your sadness here with the wind. I want to see you happy without burden. I want to see your face shine like this beach"

Thalita sighed, hearing Kenan's words. It's true, right now there's a burden on him.

"Ken, am I wrong because I don't want Aunt Vina to replace Mom"

"No. No child is willing to be replaced by someone else"

"It is true that the position of a mother can never be replaced by anyone. But your father put Aunt Vina's position in a new place not where your mother is. Until whenever your mother's position is still in its place has not changed in the least. That's what your dad did"

"Thalita, for many years your father succumbed to the situation. He refrains from forgetting his love for you. Soon you will start a new life, with your little family. Then what about your dad?"

"It's time your father was happy with his new life, too. It's time he forgot the pain of losing your mother"

Thalita bowed to Kenan's words. His eyes began to glaze over. Kenan grabbed Thalita's hand and held it before he continued.

"Let go here. dump your burdens and vent your anger. I will accompany you with the stars tonight"

Thalita looked down and did not feel her tears begin to fall. Kenan grabbed his head and leaned against his shoulder. Thalita was crying sobbing on Kenan's shoulder.

Kenan simply fell silent, giving Thalita a chance to cry, to release her burden. His left hand was still tightly grasping Thalita's hand and his right hand gently rubbed Thalita's head.

The sound of the waves accompanied his sobs. The beach breeze stroked her hair and carried the weight on her. Tracing the vast ocean.

Mothers.... Mothers.... Mothers....

Thalita cried on Kenan's boat for a long time, until she could not hear his voice again. She saw that the girl had closed her eyes. It seemed like the wind was already carrying a burden that was suffocating his chest. The wind caressed him until he fell asleep quietly without any burden.
