ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
(God) The Most Gracious.
عَلَّمَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
Who taught the Quran.
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَ
Teaching him to speak.
ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ
Sun and moon (circulating) by calculation.
وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
And the plants and the trees are both subject to Him.
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
And Allah has lifted up the heavens and He has laid the balance (justice).
أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِ
So you don't go over the line about the balance sheet.
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَ
And hold the scales fairly and do not reduce the balance.
وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ
And Allah has leveled the earth for (His) creatures.
فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٌ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِ
On the earth there are fruits and date palms that have petals.
وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
And the crusted grain and the fragrant flowers smell.
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Which favor of your Lord do you deny?
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
He created man from dry land like pottery.
وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ
and He created the jinn from the flame.
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
Which favor of your Lord do you deny?
رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
The Lord preserves both the sun's rising place and the Lord keeps both its setting.
