CS1 Expanded Road

Ken's motor is traveling at moderate speed. Ken had just bought two packs of batagor and orange ice, before finally putting his bike back on. A large store selling advanced tools and all sorts of agricultural purposes became Ken's goal. Juno's in there. There was also Juno's father, and some store employees.

"Juno, assalamu'alaikum!" greetings Ken.

Juno is surprised, but happy to learn of Ken's arrival.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, Mas Ken. How come you didn't tell me first?" Juno clocked Ken's head.

"Just keep your heads up. I'm a stranger so I have to tell you first if I want to come here, huh?" Ken.

"It's not so, Mom. I can't prepare any special food. Hehe. But it looks like Mas Ken already brought a batagor, tuh!" Juno glanced at the crackle pouch containing batagor.

Ken knows Juno's favorite snack. He intended to chat while spending batagor. However, Juno's father approached first. Juno's father was pleased with Ken's presence which he already considered to be his own son.

"Son Ken, stay at Juno's house sometime. Uncle sometimes has to go back and forth out of town because there are many relationships there," explained Juno's father.

"God willing, next time we'll stay." Ken politely responded.

"Yuno. Please take the cake in the fridge. Now yes," Juno's father asked.

Juno invites Ken in one of the rooms at the back of the store. The room is dedicated to relaxing the employees. There's a couch, a television, and a fridge in there. Ken put the cake on the table. So did the batagor and orange ice that Ken brought.

"How are you Anjani, Mas? Getting closer to Mario, huh?" ask Juno. Of the many questions, Anjanilah is more interesting to talk about.

"Em, as you thought." Ken answered all that.

"Hufts. I've guessed. Father's advice is futile," Juno lamented.

Juno plucked the bricks and stuffed them into his mouth. He chewed a few times, then changed to enjoy orange ice in a plastic container.

"Jun, don't you intend to move on from Anjani?" ask Ken.

"Yes. I intend to do it" Juno replied spontaneously.

"What?" Ken was worried about hearing wrong.

Ken knows Juno well. From the first time Ken knew Juno, from then on Ken realized Juno's feelings for Anjani were so great. In fact, when Mario-Anjani used to be close to getting married, Juno did not accept it and instead threw his fist at Mario out of annoyance. Juno also approached Alenna to move on from Anjani. "Seriously?" Ken couldn't believe it.

Juno just shrugged. He enjoys his batagor.

"Jun, how about you turn it around with Alenna?" ken's Idea.

"Shame, Mas. Alenna's well established. She has been a successful career woman. Lah, me? If I have been successful, I will marry!" obviously Juno.

Ken's getting made head bobbles. The Juno before him right now was not the Juno that Ken used to know. Juno's figure had grown more mature. More able to think about things with logic.

"Who are we going to meet?" ask Anjani.

"Look at tomorrow. Now take a break," Mario advised. A sweet smile was presented to Anjani.

"Don't forget to treat your wounds." Anjani.

"Thank you for your concern, Princess. Go to sleep well later. Dream of me" said Mario with his pedal.

Anjani immediately turned right. He doesn't want to get caught up in Mario's fight.

"Assalamu'alaikum," said Anjani, followed by a step into his house.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," replied Mario then back to drive his car.

Mario just delivered Anjani with his bike. Mario leaves Rangga at the shophouse with Alenna who has just returned from his office.

"Mas Rangga ate the fruit first, yes. I've peeled it." Alenna thrust a bowl of apples to Rangga. Alenna volunteered to take care of Rangga, even though Mario had not asked for it.

"Thank you brother Boss," said Rangga.

"Call me Alenna. I'm young, really." Alenna feeds Rangga.

Rangga looked doubtful. However, Rangga allowed Alenna to feed him apples.

Alenna smiled. His face is so special. A little bit stunned by it.

"Ride, Alenna. As far as I know in this married shop is Meli, the same man from Jogja. It seems Mario will soon marry Anjani. Besides them, who else is married?" ask Rangga. Rangga had cursed himself because of the many topics the question was taken was the topic around marriage.

"That's it. They are both still in college. But a whiz manages time between college, business, and love." Actually the compliment was aimed at Alenna for Mario, her brother.

"If you're married?" ask Rangga.

Alenna chuckles. He was instead reminded of the rundown of his love story with Juno first.

"Alenna, I'm gonna take a break. You gohome. I'm really okay," suggested Rangga.

"alright. I'm here again tomorrow morning. Don't open the ruko. Let everything recover first. The day after tomorrow, then you can re-open the shophouse as before." Alenna said softly.

Rangga nodded, then smiled. He really wanted to immediately rest his body that still felt pain. Especially the pain on his bony face.

Alenna walked to the car. He did not want to disturb Rangga. Inwardly, Alenna smiled wryly as she recalled her past with Juno.

"Mending I was expecting her love Mas Rangga, rather than Juno who obviously still had feelings for Anjani. Huft," murmured Alenna.

Alenna's home. Slowly the car drove away from the shophouse. Leaving Rangga who had fallen asleep in his dreams.

"Alenna," hissed Rangga, deliriously calling Alenna's name.
