Jovanka rubbed William's sleepy back while singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star as a lullaby.

Jovanka heard her apartment bell ringing. He did not move from his activities to accompany his Son to sleep, because there is his mother who will open the door.

" Jo, someone is looking for you," said Mama Maya who a few moments later suddenly was near the door of her room.

" Who, Ma?" ask Jovanka.

" His name is David Richard."

Jovanka's heart rhymed faster when he heard the name David Richard. Because he knew it was Gavin's father's name. And that means the grandfather of his son if his son is indeed recognized as Gavin's son.

" D-David Richard??" ask Jovanka then.

" Yes," said Mama Maya.

" What's he doing here?" ask Jovanka back.

" Who is he, Jo?" Mama Maya is not very familiar with Gavin especially with her parents.

" He's Willy's grandfather, Ma." Jovanka was honest.

" Grandfather Willy?" Mama Maya gasped until she closed her mouth.

" Will he take Willy away from us, Jo?" mama Maya asked worried.

" I don't know, Ma." Jovanka also suffered from anxiety. A few days ago Gavin suddenly came to see him. Didn't Gavin promise not to take William away from him? Then why is it that Gavin's father is also now seeing him? The anger has begun to stir Jovanka's heart.

" Mom, Mama take care of Willy first, I'll meet that guy. Please call Peter too." Jovanka needs the presence of the man who will be her husband if something unwanted happens.

Jovanka walked into the front room of her apartment. He saw the middle-aged man standing while looking at a photo of baby William complete with a replica of William's palms and hands as an infant.

Dad David immediately twisted his body when he heard the voice of Jovanka who said to him.

" Good day, Miss Jovanka," Dad David said to Jovanka.

" Please sit down, sir." Jovanka tries to be friendly to Dad David even though his heart is pounding with the presence of a man who is the father of the person he once loved.

" I'm sorry, is there any need for you to come here?" ask Jovanka back after Dad David sits on the couch.

" Did Miss Jovanka know me?" ask Dad David.

" Mister is Gavin's parents, right?" Jovanka.

Dad David smiled at Jovanka's reply.

" Yes, Miss is right. I am Gavin's father" said Dad David.

" What is it that you are here for? I never held Gavin accountable. He came here himself. Ask to meet William and say I'll give my son a living." Jovanka defended. He was afraid that Dad David would think if he wanted to blackmail Gavin by exploiting William's whereabouts.

Dad David smiled again to find the attitude of insecure.

" What is Miss Jovanka thinking about coming here?" ask Dad David.

" Mister told me to stay away from Gavin or maybe Master will take my son?" Jovanka finally honestly said her fear with the arrival of Dad David.

" If I am going to give Miss a large sum of money, is Miss willing to hand over Miss's child to me?"

Dad David's question immediately made Jovanka's chest feel turbulent. Even a flash of emotion has begun to appear in his eyeballs indicating he does not like the offer given by Dad David.

" I'm sorry, Mister. What does that master's question mean? Is Mr David going to exchange my son for the money you have? No matter how much money you offer me, I won't sell my son!" Jovanka.

" If Mr. David's purpose here is to take my son, even Mr. or Gavin has no right to do that to William. He is my son, a son born outside the bonds of marriage. Only I have rights over William!" Jovanka has been really emotional.

" Miss Jovanka, you better calm down first." Dad David who sees Jovanka emotion asks Jovanka for more colling down.

" I understand what Miss Jovanka is worried about. We have no rights over the child. But Gavin is, after all, his biological father. And Miss's son deserves a living from his father, even if Miss doesn't demand that."

" I personally as the father of Gavin want to apologize for what he did to Miss first. I also have no intention of separating Miss from Miss's child. I thank Miss for taking good care of my granddaughter all this time."

" I came here just to leave this to Miss." Dad David opens his bag and pulls out a map to Jovanka.

Jovanka looked at the map Dad David was pointing at her. His eyes now rested on Dad David.

" Open .." said Dad David again.

With a slight hesitation Jovanka grabbed the map and opened it. He gasped to find out the paper he knew was a certificate of apartment ownership. He opened the certificate and he again widened his eyes when he saw his name written as the name of the owner of one apartment unit in one of the best apartments in Singapore.

" What does this mean, sir?" Jovanka was confused.

" I gave that apartment to you Miss. Consider it a gift to my granddaughter." Dad David explained.

" T-Master, I think it's too much for me." Jovanka refused to accept the gift of Dad David.

" I beg Miss Jovanka not to refuse this gift of mine. Miss also don't have to worry I won't take William away from Miss."

" Miss can move there soon. For the month-month maintenance fee, I'll cover it."

Jovanka. He did not expect that his son's existence had an overreaction from Gavin and Dad David. He thought that the existence of his son would be denied and doubted as Gavin's son even though he never asked for that confession.

" Mister ...."

" Om, just call me Om." David asks Jovanka to call him Om.

" Oh, you don't have to do this to us."

" Receive Miss." Dad David still forces Jovanka to accept.

" Alright, Om. Thank you for the kindness Om to me and my son." Finally inevitably Jovanka received the gift of Dad David.

" Oh yeah, can I see my granddaughter, Miss?" ask Dad David.

" He just went to bed. Let's if Om really wants to see." Jovanka stood up and escorted Dad David to his room.

" Ma, is Willy asleep?" ask Jovanka to Aunt Maya.

" It's, Jo." Mama Maya looks at Dad David who is now behind Jovanka.

" Jo ...."

" It's Okay, Ma. Um David just wants to see Willy." Jovanka could feel if her mom was worried.

" Oh, please, sir." Mama Maya invites Dad David to approach William.

Dad David walked slowly towards the bed where William fell asleep and sat on the edge.

" He really looks like his dad." Dad David rubbed William's face slowly.

" Mrs, as Gavin's father and also represents Gavin. I would like to extend my apology to the Madam for my son's actions towards the Madam's daughter." Dad David then conveyed his apology to Mama Maya.

" Yes, Sir. It's all been happening. What matters now is that Master and Son Master do not separate my son from my grandson." Aunt Maya conveys her request.

" Oh, no, Madam. We have no authority for that. Miss Jovanka and her family have rights over William. So there's no way we're separating them. I just want to make sure William gets the life and education he deserves going forward." Dad David said..
