The Right Father

Gavin welcomes Jovanka and the boy in the woman's arms.

" I'm sorry I'm late, William just woke up." Jovanka then pulled up the chair and sat her body on the chair with William now sitting on his lap.

While Gavin was so impressed with the little creature before him. His heart trembled as he looked at William's face which was indeed very similar to his let alone from the shape of his eyes.

" Willy, he's Uncle Gavin." Jovanka tries to introduce Gavin to William. Of course Jovanka did not directly introduce Gavin as the biological father of William.

" Hi, Ongkel .." said William extending his hand timidly.

" Oh Hi William ..." Gavin gasps as William greets him, and Gavin feels overwhelmed when he hears William addressing him as Uncle. He then welcomed William's tiny hand.

" Mommy, ice cream ..." A moment later William did not focus too much on Gavin. William is more interested in ice cream sold in the cafe.

Jovanka also ordered Double Belgian and Pistachio ice cream while Gavin himself was seen eating Wafflewich before Jovanka came.

" He loves to eat ice cream here" Jovanka told William's favorite to Gavin who hardly blinked looking at William.

" Do you like ice cream, William?" gavin asked as William looked at him. Gavin then stroked William's face feelingly. His heart skipped a beat as he came back in contact with William until he felt peace to the bottom of his heart.

William just nodded his head answering Gavin's question.

" What's your favorite flavor?" ask Gavin back.

" Cokolate, Uncle." Jovanka whispered into William's ear, asking him to answer Gavin's question. But instead of answering he nodded his head and ate a double Belgian ice cream.

" I'm sorry, Jo. I'm so sorry for what I did to you." Gavin expressed regret for his actions to make Jovanka have to conceive her child.

Jovanka smiled in response to Gavin.

" Nothing to regret. I'm happy to have William." Jovanka kissed her son's cheek.

" Why didn't you tell me about William, Jo? For God's sake, if Steven hadn't met you and told me, I would never have known if I had a child."

" Fuck*, Steven. I asked him to shut up!" Jovanka.

" Why didn't you look for me when you found out you were pregnant?"

" For what?" Didn't you choose to leave me alone? It means you won't care what happens to me next." Jovanka.

" But if you tell me from the beginning, maybe the story won't be like this, Jo. I'll probably be responsible for you both."

" And I'll be accused of being a snatch on people's husbands? No, Gavin! Without you, I can still raise William" said Jovanka.

" I don't want to deal with that lady anyway." Jovanka talked about Agatha.

" I'm not with him now." Gavin announces his divorce with Agatha, causing Jovanka to squint her eyes.

" But I'm remarried to the woman of my Daddy's choice."

Jovanka smiled bitterly at Gavin's story.

" Does your destiny always have to be betrothed by your parents?" sindir Jovanka's.

Gavin smelled a smile at Jovanka's innuendo.

" Yes, you're right. It was Mommy Manda who told me to marry Agatha. Then it was Dad David who asked me to marry Rara. Like I can't find my own soul mate." Gavin also chuckles to realize his fate.

" But the woman of Dad David's choice really made me fall in love." With a sparkling face Gavin told me about Azzahra.

" Thank God you found your happiness" said Jovanka.

" Yes, we got married about half a year ago. And he was devastated when he found out that I had a child from my uncontrolled past life."

" Because of course I can't possibly ignore William's existence. He is my flesh and blood, after all. I want to give him a living. As I explained in my message. Although I don't have any rights over William, I want him to accept what he deserves from me."

" You don't have to bother doing that. I can support William." Jovanka refused Gavin's wish.

" Of course I don't feel bothered. I am happy to love my own son. Even Dad David himself wanted to give something to his grandson. In William's body, however, flowed the blood of Richard's descendants."

Jovanka sighed, there was worry in her heart.

" I don't want you to take it from me!" Jovanka.

" No, Jo! We're not taking William away from you. William will stay with you, we will only pay attention to him." Gavin tried to calm Jovanka who began to look riled up with his statement earlier.

" Beib, you're here." Suddenly a man came to Jovanka. And the man watched Gavin closely.

" Oh, Peter. I'd like to introduce him, he's William's father." Jovanka introduced Gavin to Peter. Jovanka did ask Peter to meet her at the cafe.

"Oh .. hi, I'm Peter." Peter extended his hand towards Gavin and greeted Gavin kindly.

Gavin accepts Peter's hand and introduces himself, "I"m Gavin."

" Nice to meet you. Jovanka ever told me about you. Mr. Gavin." Peter reveals if Jovanka ever told him about Gavin.

" Really?" Gavin then turned his head towards Jovanka who was smiling faintly.

" Hmmm, Peter. Can you take William away first. I have to talk to Gavin." Jovanka asks Peter to take William away first. He then wiped William's mouth that was covered in ice cream with tissue.

Gavin actually seems to object to the decision of Jovanka who told Peter to take William away. Surely he still wants to be together and see William longer. But he can't force Jovanka to keep William there.

"Okay. Let's go." Peter then lifted William's body and carried it on his shoulders making William laugh with joy.

" r. Gavin, I'll excuse first." Peter said goodbye to Gavin.

"Oh, please." Gavin would not let Peter leave him to take William.

" Bye, Mommy ... Bye Ongkel .." said William as he waved his hand before leaving Jovanka and Gavin.

" Is he your lover?" Gavin asked about Peter.

" He's my fiance." Jovanka says Peter is her fiance. " We're getting married next month."

" Oh ..." Gavin gasped to hear that Jovanka and her boyfriend were getting married next month. But he is happy to know that his former lover now has a prospective companion who he saw at a glance looks very close and dear to William.

" He seemed very familiar with William." Gavin then commented.

" Yes, he's a good guy. He can accept William's existence."

" Thank God, Jo. I'm so happy for you guys. If I had seen their familiarity earlier, I would have hoped William would have gotten the right father figure for him." Gavin.

" Of course, Peter is perfect for filling that position "Jovanka gave a smile as she said that line. And Gavin can see the happy aura of a smile on Jovanka's lips signifies that the woman is truly happy.
