Love Stories Overseas
Chapter 7

Dila and the friends who left with her yesterday, had breakfast together at the rented front food stall.

This time Evan and Kunto chose not to sit with Dila, because Dila was with 9 other friends. Indeed all in total there are 10 children who left to Bekasi yesterday, there are new graduates of SMK like Dila, there are also graduates last year. But clearly, the ones that came with Dila yesterday were still under 20 years old all.

Evan and Kunto choose to eat quickly and come out first from the food stall, Kunto only glanced at Dila with a smile and a farewell nod.

" Dil, we first yes, afraid to miss the bus invitation", in contrast to Kunto who only smiled at Dila, Evan first called Dila and said goodbye.

" Oh yes, be careful on the road, may today you be given smooth", Dila answered as necessary and refocused on his breakfast.

Evan walked out of the stall, smiling, hearing Dila's words containing prayers of kindness for him.

" Who is Dil?", asked Fitri, one of the schoolmates with Asri. Fitri knew Dila from the story of Asri, who was huddled in Fitri's room overnight.

" The neighbor's room" replied Dila as necessary.

" Why just call you Dil?, did not know Asri?", Yani roommate Fitri followed curious.

" Know, yesterday we were both in the lunch here, right Dil?", it was Asri who replied. Dila immediately nodded confirming Asri's words.

" But really why is it just the same saying of Dila, and not calling me too, is it possible that Evan has a crush on you Dil?", Asri made his own conclusions.

" Don't have to halu, it's still morning, let's go, don't get bad luck, it's our first day to LPK, must make a good impression so let's pick up the work".

Dila stood up and paid for her breakfast, the others stood up and did the same.

Dila and his nine friends wait for a bus that will pass LPK Jaya Sentosa. Only 5 minutes by bus, they have arrived in front of the LPK, actually if they are used to it maybe from the contract only need to walk for a while also arriving at the LPK.

Dila seemed so excited to see there were many other participants who had been waiting in front of the LPK, when the clock showed at 7, all participants were welcome to enter the building. They were all invited to sit in the available seats.

First of all, the participants must fill out a form containing questions about their personal data, after filling in the data, the participants get directions on what processes will be passed until they are transferred to work.

The first step of all participants came out of building one, and into the second building to conduct a health examination. Dila and the others had to do health tests, from eye exams, urine, hearing, blood tests, color tests and a myriad of other tests.

The time from morning to evening is only used to follow the physical examination of prospective workers. Luckily Dila and her nine friends passed the body health test on the first day, there were some participants from other areas who had to retreat due to poor hearing, or color blindness. For those who pass the health examination, tomorrow must go and bring sports clothes.

Dila and others must follow several more stages of the test, such as physical endurance tests, mental tests or commonly called psychotest, and several other test series.

At 4pm Dila and the others were already allowed to go home. Because waiting for the bus long enough but did not go through, finally Dila and others chose to walk to the contract.

It turned out that the distance from LPK to the contract only took 15 minutes to travel, and the experience of walking this afternoon was enough to surprise Dila. From LPK to Dila contract can see there are many costs or contracts occupied by the nomads.

There was one large building that made Dila feel curious to look into it, in front of the building there was the inscription 'Replace massage', but the scenery in front of the building is precisely beautiful women with sexy and all-mini clothes with faces wearing menor makeup, she said, similar to a songbirds or dangdut singers who often appear in single orgen events at the event in place of Dila.

" Hussss... don't look into Dil, you want to be rich mba-mba sexy that work so a plus-plus masseuse". Asri pulled the hand of Dila who had just seen a little through the opening of the massage parlor entrance that was slightly open. Like the twinkling lights on the entertainment stage during the August 17 event.

" No As, besides said my father and mother, I was not a masseuse, if told to massage must be father or mother tell my sister Dita, he said better massage Dita than my massage", reply Dila innocently.

Asri, Fitri and Yani who walked with Dila laughed at Dila's innocent answer.

" The plus-plus massage is not just massaging as usual Dil, but there are additional, aka the masseur can be used the same as asking for massage, can be held-hold his body, can be held, sometimes there are even those who come into contact with ****".

" In the big city, there are already many such places, just under the guise of massage parlors, but like brothels, so do not dare to go out and play too far from the rent alone, he said, you might be mistaken for a lonely woman who again finds a friend playing in bed", this time Yani who gives an explanation.

" Have you ever wander before?, how do you like to know so much about life in the big city" asked Dila to his three new friends.

" It used to be 3 months, but not at home, so run back to the village" Yani answered honestly. Yani is indeed one school with Fitri and Asri, but Yani is the older brother of their class. Dila also nodded while having a long 'ooh.

" The association abroad, what else in the big city is far different from in the village. If you are not smart to take care of yourself, I guarantee, not for a year, surely your virginity will be snatched. Whether it's by your girlfriend, by a room neighbor, by a coworker, or a boss at a PT/factory, it can all be the culprit" Yani said with a facial expression that showed sadness and regret.

Dila so guessing, is it possible that Yani has lost her virginity when wandering first. From his expression as he spoke, he felt a deep pain.

" Well, because walking while telling a story, it does not feel we have reached the front of the rented building, thank you for the experience and knowledge of all of you, I am very lucky today, I am very lucky, got a lot of feedback from good friends like you".

Yani nodded, while Fitri and Asri only smiled faintly.

Until in the room Dila and Asri immediately took a change of clothes and walked towards the bathroom, because their bodies were already very sticky and sour smell.

" Just up to Dil?".

Dila passed by Kunto who had finished bathing.

" Yes Mas, it was a walk from the LPK, so it was a bit long to arrive", replied Dila as she passed into the bathroom.

Asri also walks behind Dila, but Kunto does not greet her, as Kunto and Asri have not had time to get acquainted. Last night Asri was not in her room, and did not come to dinner with Kunto and Dila.

Dila came out of the bathroom and again had finished washing the clothes he was wearing. Dila immediately walked to the top of the building, picked up the clothesline this morning and dried the clothes that had just been washed.

Because he felt his feet ache because he had walked far enough plus walking up the two-story stairs Dila chose to sit on the edge of the roof of the building.

Dila looked down, in front of the contract there were many young women who were chatting and there were also those who were busy smoking alone. Of the many people who live in that place, all of those faces feel foreign to Dila, because Dila only knows a few people.

There are also those who are chatting on the rented balcony on the second floor, even their language is very foreign in Dila, not Javanese or Indonesian, he said, maybe the occupants of the rented room on the second floor came from the Sunda area, or outside Java, the language cannot be understood in the slightest.

In Dila's heart so think and feel funny on their own, imagine if the neighbors of his room are from different areas and while chatting all speak the language of their respective regions, he said, instead of chatting it could be all so confused with what is said by the interlocutor.

" Why do you smile yourself on the roof of a building like this?", it is late in the afternoon, soon Maghrib, it is not good to sit on the edge of the roof like that, he said, if suddenly there is a demon passing by and whisking you tell jump, it will be a place that is serem later this contract", ledek Evan who came while carrying a bucket of wet laundry that was about to be dried.

Hearing Evan's words, Dila so looked down and shuddered, high enough also if it fell down, it must hurt. Dila stood up and walked to the middle.

" Why daydreaming?, did you not pass the medical examination today?", Evan asked as he dried his laundry.

" Who said?, I'm healthy and fine, of course passed the health check".

" So, just look at the people who are talking in front of their contract, heard, the language they use is not Javanese, not Indonesian. So feel the stranger is here. Everyone has their own world".

Dila's explanation made Evan smile. " You feel alone and lonely in a crowded place like this?".

Hearing Evan say 'feeling lonely', Dila recalled Yani's words telling her not to wander around alone, afraid of being mistaken for a lonely woman.

" No, I'm not lonely, there is Asri, there are other friends too". Dila immediately left Evan who felt strange with Dila's attitude, suddenly changed and left him alone.
