وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمۡ أَحۡرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٖ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْۚ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمۡ لَوۡ يُعَمَّرُ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحۡزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرُۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ ٩٦

"And indeed you (Muhammad) will find them (the Jews), the most greedy of life (the world), even (more greedy) than the polytheists. Each one of them wants to be given a thousand years of life, but that long life will not keep them from doom. And Allah is All-Seeing of what they do."

In the Qur'an (89:17‑20) allegedly there are a group of people who seized the property of the orphan children and ate the treasure (a nation) with very greed, too love for the world is excessive, hubban jamma. God threatened him with hell.

Even so considering the message of the Quran is intended for all humans, indeed greedy people will get harm and that is explained in the Surah Al-Humazah Quran speaks more firmly about this greedy behavior: " Woe to every denouncer and detractor, who gathers treasure and counts it, he (man) thinks that his property can keep it. Not once! Surely he will be thrown into the (hell) Hu'amah "

The ayat‑ayat quote describes a greedy person, love the world excessively, have a reluctance to separate from the world. He wants to live a thousand years and embrace this world forever. They are glared, forgotten, and deceived by the glitter of the world.

The enjoyment of the world is short and short. Says the wise man, the content of this world if it were to be shared fairly and be addressed with gratitude and mutual love, would be more than enough to sustain a life of luxury" Obviously Mr. Ustadz on their way home made them finally understand the strange events during the funeral procession.
