Love Smells

Love Smells
Chapter 80 Blood

" We are both moms, not alone" Dhita chanted as she glanced at Arjuna who was still fast asleep.

Apparently Arjuna was so tired that he did not hear the conversation between his mother and his wife.

Mommy Rita got up from her seat to her daughter-in-law.

" Thank you son, you've sacrificed for your husband" Mommy Rita held Dhita's hand.

Mommy Rita knows everything from Arjuna who has told her why Dhita came like this.

" Mas Ar my husband mom, it has become my duty to always accompany him,

even though life is at stake I will always be with her." Dhita replied smilingly.

Mommy Rita shed tears hearing the sincerity of her daughter-in-law's words.

He remembered when he separated from his girlfriend, Mr. Teddy.

But he is not as brave as Dhita who is willing to sacrifice for the people he loves, to decide to separate.

" Mom, why?" dhita asked as she looked at the woman who had become her in-laws crying silently.

" It's okay, son, I just remember when mommy was young." mommy Rita paused.

And Dhita listened to him seriously.

" When you're your age, mommy can't be as brave as you, mommy can't fight for our love and get mommy married to someone else" Rita told her past.

" Patience mom, all this may be the destiny of God." Dhita tried to strengthen her in-laws who turned out to be very fragile.

" Mommy has no regrets about being separated from the one you love, but mommy is sorry that mommy's son couldn't feel the moment with his father as a child." Mommy Rita cries again, until her crying wakes up Arjuna who is sleeping.

" Mom!" arjuna exclaimed in surprise when he saw his mother sitting next to his wife.

" Have Ar woken up?" mommy Rita asked, pretending to rub her eyes.

" Mommy why, mommy crying?" Arjuna looked worried to see his mother cry.

" No Ar, mommy just flickering." replied Mommy Rita lying.

" Gold, I'm thirsty" said the dhita distracting her husband, because she did not want her husband to force her mother-in-law to come clean.

" I'll get you a minute." replied Arjuna reaching for the bottle of drink on the end table.

But the bottle was empty.

" The water is running out, I buy it first." said Arjuna as he got up from his seat.

Dhita nodded as she had indeed felt very thirsty.

" Thank you son, you have helped me avoid your husband's questions" Rita said as she watched her son disappear behind the door.

If only Dhita did not distract Arjuna, then it can not be avoided anymore mommy Rita had to frankly answer the questions of her son.

" I understand your feelings mommy," Dhita replied smilingly.

The first time between mommy Rita and Dhita is heart to heart.

" I'm sorry that Mommy has been doubting your loyalty to my son." said Rita with regret.

Remembering himself who used to often corner Dhita.

Not even shy about insulting him.

" It's mom, it's okay to assume all that never happened" replied Dhita.

He thinks forgiving each other is better than having to hold a grudge.

" Do you know who Bastian is?" ask mommy Rita to switch the conversation.

" Bastian he's my boss mom." answered Dhita innocently.

" No" mommy Rita shook her head.

Hearing the words from her in-laws, Dhita frowned.

" You mean mommy?"

" Bastian is your cousin, he is also Arjuna's cousin from his late father" replied Mommy Rita trying to explain the truth.

" My husband, Calvin Dharmendra has a younger brother named David Dharmendra,

after marriage David moved to Paris and had a son named Bastian." said Rita.

Dhita listened carefully.

" They came back to this country because they wanted to take over all my husband's assets, because they knew Arjuna was not his flesh and blood" Rita continued.

" Well, what's her connection to me mom, why did mommy say she was my cousin?" tanya Dhita still did not understand the way her mother-in-law thought.

" Or maybe because I've been married to mas Ar, so mommy says she's my cousin, yes it's true too." continued Dhita answered her own question.

" No!" hurry up mommy Rita menukas.

" Your mother!" exclaim mommy Rita who immediately makes Dhita laugh.

Due to laughing too hard, Dhita felt a pain in the former surgery over her abdominal cavity.

" What happened to my mom?" dhita asked as she continued to endure the tickling tingling in her heart.

It was impossible for her mother who was just a village woman to know such a distinguished family as them plus Bu Safitri never went to the city even if only once.

" Your mother, she is the younger sister of my husband" replied Rita

immediately got a response from Dhita who was surprised.

" Sibling, it's impossible." Dhita said in disbelief.

" David told us himself" said Rita.

" We?"

" Yes, me, your mother and father!" answer mommy Rita.

Then mommy Rita recounts the events told by David.

From the moment Diana's disappearance turned out to be Bu Safitri until finally they were rediscovered at Rita's mommy's house.

" That's the story, son," mommy Rita ends the story.

Suddenly a voice came from behind.

" It's worth it that I feel so familiar with your mother's face!" arjuna who just came back from outside.

Apparently he heard the conversation of his mother and wife.

" You know that too?" ask mommy who felt strange, because at that time Arjuna was being held captive by Bastian.

" Yes, I once saw a picture of a woman in a barn when I was a kid, when me and papi were playing hide and seek, and I was, when I asked papi not to answer, I hid the photo like I felt guilty" Arjuna said.

Then give a bottle of drink to Dhita after being opened first.

Dhita immediately sipped the water bottle while listening to her husband's story.

" When I went to the village and met Bu Safitri, I remembered the photo!" continued Arjuna recounted his memories so far.

Dhita fell silent because she was shocked by that fact.

" Where are they now?" dhita asked in a soft voice, between believing and not.

" At the police station!" answer Arjuna quickly.

" The police station?" Dhita repeated her husband's words.

" Yes, they deserve all of that." replied Arjuna furiously recalling Bastian's barbaric deeds to himself and Dhita.

" Then I want to meet them tomorrow" Dhita said in a sad tone.

" For what" Arjuna objected to his wife's wishes.

Not without reason Arjuna objected, because he knew that his wife would do something unexpected.

" However we are of the same blood, what is wrong if I want to meet my uncle and cousin?" Dhita stared fixedly at Arjuna.

As if asking for an explanation with Arjuna's attitude that shows his objection to his desire.

Gets an unusual look, Arjuna and mommy Rita can only shut up without saying a word.
