Love Smells

Love Smells
Chapters. 76 Liver transplant operations

Time went on days changed, even a week passed.

But there is no change from Dhita's condition, instead looks worse making Arjuna and his family really worried.

" How's doc doing?" arjuna asked in a huff, as Eina's doctor finished examining his wife.

" I recommend that you immediately find a liver donor, so that patients can immediately perform liver transplant surgery" said Dr. Eina.

" I'll excuse you first." Doctor Eina leaves behind a confused Arjuna.

He has done various ways to get a donor heart for his wife, but it has not been successful.

While Arjuna himself and all the families have done liver transplant examination, but no one is suitable for Dhita's heart.

Seeing the body of his wife who was lying helpless, plus the medical devices attached to his entire body made Arjuna not want to leave the woman he loved so much even for a second.

" I promise to bring someone to donate his heart to you soon." muttered Arjuna softly, as he continued to hold the hand of his wife who looked increasingly thin.

No matter how Arjuna tried to speak to Dhita there was never a reaction, but today it feels different.

Arjuna saw tears begin to flow from his wife's eyes.

" Dhita, you hear me, you cry?" asked Arjuna, now he felt there was a glimmer of hope for his wife's recovery.

Arjuna immediately pressed the emergency button to call the doctor.

Soon the doctor came along with a nurse.

" Doctor, the doctor saw my wife doc, she realized, she was crying!" arjuna exclaimed happily when he saw doctor Eina enter the room.

" Let me check first sir." replied doctor Eina, then opened Dhita's eyelids and flashlighted them in turn.

" How's doc, he's starting to wake up, isn't he?" asked Arjuna impatiently.

" The tears that come out are from the patient's desire to interact with the surrounding environment, maybe you invite him to talk too often" said doctor Eina explained.

Arjuna nodded.

" My advice is not to talk too much to the patient, indeed his body can not react, he said, but he can hear and his heart may still feel and make him try harder to interact with you, and it can make his heart condition worse because it is too forced." doctor Eina explained at length.

Arjuna just kept quiet and felt more and more guilty.

" I'm sorry, remember my message not to talk too much for her good!" doctor Eina orders him before he leaves because he has to deal with other patients.

" Good doc, thanks for the advice" replied Arjuna.

Doctor Eina passed.

Amid the turmoil that Arjuna felt, suddenly shocked by the arrival of Puri and Citra.

" What are you here for?" Arjuna turned his face when he saw Citra who was behind Puri.

"Ar, he came here to apologize and realize all his mistakes," Puri answered Arjuna's question because Citra hid behind the back of Puri and did not dare to answer a word.

I don't know what possessed Citra to make it turn 180 degrees.

The image that has been known to be very selfish and annoying can turn out to be more calm and shy.

Now Citra really becomes a figure that has never been imagined before by everyone including Arjuna, he was amazed by the change in the image itself is very drastic.

" What's your next plan, look at him helpless, do you still want to hurt him?" Arjuna couldn't help but feel emotions mixed with guilt. He spoke while pointing towards Dhita who was lying helplessly.

Looking at the image he remembered all the mistakes caused by the woman.

" No Ar, I'm really sincerely apologizing," Citra answered a question from Arjuna with tears in her eyes.

Whether it was Tears of sincerity or just a charade no one could figure it out.

The image kneels in front of Arjuna.

While crying, he said.

" Really Ar, I've really changed,"

" What's the evidence?" Arjuna asked for evidence of Citra's confession.

" I'm willing to donate my heart to Dhita" replied Citra who made both Arjuna and Puri stunned.

" It's not that easy, you have to go through a few checks first" Arjuna said.

" If it's appropriate you can donate your heart to Dhita," he continued, it's nothing Arjuna said like that, because until this moment no one is suitable to be a donor of Dhita's heart.

Even Dhita's parents were declared unsuitable after passing the examination.

The image nodded in a sign he agreed to undergo an initial examination.

Finally, the image was examined by a doctor.

A few minutes later the results of the examination came out, and the doctor stated that Citra's heart was suitable to be donated to Dhita.

" Really?" Arjuna seemed to be in disbelief at her hearing, but a smile was etched on her lips as Eina's doctor reassured her once more.

Arjuna did not think that the donor sent by God to his wife was Citra.

At that time Arjuna was in the workspace owned by doctor Eina.

" Right sir, the operation can be done today as well" said doctor Eina gave a decision.

" Alhamdulillaah you'll finally be well, dear" Arjuna muttered as if there was Dhita who would hear him.

" Quick do your best for my wife doc, whatever the cost will be, as long as my wife can be cured" Arjuna said firmly.

" Must be sir." replied Doctor Eina.

On that day also liver transplant surgery for Dhita was immediately performed.

All the family members who had been contacted by Arjuna were waiting with hope.

Everyone gathered in front of the operating room door in anxious expectation.

" O Allah give the best to our daughter." murmured bu Safitri in his do'a with both eyes closed.

While Mr. Setyo and Arjuna looked agitated, many times they looked at the door if the operation had been completed.

Mommy Rita, Eza, Puri, Reyhan and Rena were also there, all waiting with their hearts pounding.

The operation lasted quite a long time, in the operating room there were several doctors and several nurses were busy carrying out the operation.

They took Dhita's damaged heart and replaced it with a heart they took from a part of Citra's liver.

About six hours of the operation took place and was finally completed when the Doctor came out of the room with a smile on his face.

Everyone precedes each other to ask about Dhita's current condition.

" Alhamdulillaah, the operation went well, and the patient's condition improved" replied Doctor Eina calmly.

" Thank you!" exclaim everyone is no exception Arjuna, he who felt the happiest at that time.

After informing the news, Eina's doctor passed which was followed by several nurses by pushing Brankar Dhita and Citra who were still both unconscious.

The image has not been realized because of the side effects of drugs that have not disappeared after liver transplant surgery.
