Three months later
Raina increasingly rarely bring her own motorbike to campus because lately Rama often drove her. The eldest son of the Hartawijaya family was used to leaving early to deliver and take his lunch break to pick up Raina. Even Rama felt that there was less when he was busy in the office and could not meet Raina. Sometimes Rama can only take Raina and go home with Gita or Veris because of the busy work that cannot be left behind.
Tono's father and the Holy Mother were proud of Rama's seriousness. The more here Raina's parents see the better side of Rama. Rama is indeed impressed indifferent for those who do not know, even Raina used to also often complain about Rama's arbitrary attitude to his parents. But now everything is much different, father Tono and the Holy Mother already know for themselves that Rama is a responsible man and most importantly understand about religion.
Understanding about religion does not mean having to be a religious expert, but at least by knowing that Rama always tried to perform the five prayers of his time, and know Rama always set aside his fortune for those who are less capable, and know that Rama always set aside his fortune for those who are less able, it shows that Rama is a good person. His words and attitude are also quite polite. To both his parents, Rama was a devoted child. Raina's parents are grateful for that.
Similar to Rama, Raina also felt increasingly accustomed to the presence of Rama. When Rama was busy and gave the news that he could not take her or pick her up, Raina also felt less excited. However, until now the two have never shown that they need each other. All still maintain their respective prestige.
Tonight is Sunday night, Rama still hesitates to ask Raina to come out even though she wants to. It is true, even though they have often been together, but it is just to take Raina to campus or just visit each other at home. The rest of them had never been both way out. Rama still feels uncomfortable if he has to ask Raina a way out, he is afraid that if Raina considers herself asking a date and will make Raina uncomfortable. So Rama thought all along.
"Rai" said Rama suddenly.
"Yes." Yeah." Raina turned to Rama who was enjoying his iced tea. Rama was heard calling but in fact the direction of view was somewhere. And that made Raina snort annoyed.
"What the hell is it, brother?" Raina was impatient because Rama still had not started talking.
"Emm." Rama hesitated to say it. Actually he was still thinking about what sentence he was going to say.
"Raina get changed first." Instead of waiting for Rama to speak, Raina chose to enter for a while and left Rama sitting in a lounge chair on the terrace of Raina's house. This afternoon the weather was quite hot, after picking up Raina, Rama took a short break to enjoy the ice tea made by the Holy Mother to quench her thirst.
Not long after Raina came out in her dress. He had forgotten that Rama was going to talk about something. With ease Raina sat down again at her place earlier. In a chair separated by a small table with a chair occupied by Rama. While Rama still gather all his energy to dare to convey what he wanted to convey earlier.
"Lo tonight is there an event? I mean .." Rama's sentence is still hanging. Making Raina frown. "Ah forget it, my break is almost over, have to drop back to the office, nih," rama said quite casually to make Raina curse herself because it has inserted a hope in the continuation of Rama's sentence earlier. Rama then stood up from his seat, entering the house as usual to say goodbye to the Holy Mother. While Raina was still sitting unmoved.
Actually, Rama want to say what the hell? I'm curious, that sucks!
Rama came out of the house, then took a break from Raina. Raina kissed Rama's hand sincerely, this time it felt ordinary because she had done so often. Rama always smiled a little for moments like this. Rama has not dared to wish more on Raina, but seeing Raina's attitude like this he believes that Raina is a good future wife.
"Raina tonight there's no show, so why?" raina said half a scream, making Rama who almost opened the car door suddenly look shocked. Although Rama's car park is quite far away with Raina's seat, Raina's screams are certainly still heard clearly. Sure enough, Raina did not want to spend the night of the week with a sense of unease because of curiosity with the sentence Rama hanging earlier. And that bold enough sentence finally came out of his mouth. This time he did not care what Rama would think of him after this.
"Later I call ya, it's almost too late," said Rama as he shouted while raising hp with his right hand. Then Rama got in the car. As he floated with his own thoughts after hearing Raina's words, Rama smiled to himself. Soon Rama's car came out of Raina's yard.
"THE BASICS!! I swear, I regret that I said that. Brother Rama is a bitch," Raina grumbled as she walked towards her room, lest the Holy Mother hear that.
"Why Na? How's that pouting?" Right, surely you will wonder if you hear this. Mother had already walked up to Raina who was standing in front of the door of her room.
"No pa pa, Bun. I'm just a little tired. Na rest first yes," replied Raina with a cheerful smile so as not to raise new questions from her mother.
"Oh.. Yes, Sweetheart. Uh yeah, Mommy's going to daddy's shop for a second. Mother's wheat flour is running out."
"Oh the cry is over, Raina is the one who takes the flour, Bun." Raina volunteered to help her mother. Mother smiled in response.
"No need, darling. You take a break! Mother also needs another."
"Tell?"
"Yes." Yeah." Nodding then rubbed the top of his daughter's head gently.
After the Holy Mother left the house, Raina went into her room. He slammed his body on his soft bed. Remembering Rama's attitude earlier made him upset again. Grabbing the bolster near his head then beating the bolster a few times. Wreaked frustration. Hoping by doing that her feelings can be a little relieved.
The HP inside the bag reads. Raina was shocked to hear it, slowly she opened her eyes and grabbed the bag. Ah right, it turned out that almost half an hour Raina was asleep while hugging her roll earlier. He then picked up the phone inside the bag that had not stopped ringing.
Brother Rama?? Raina frowning.
"Hello, Assalamu'alaikum," Raina's lazy voice, the typical sound of waking up.
"Wa'alaikum hail, you sleep huh? Pantes lift long. Sorry to bother you" said Rama across the street.
