LOVE Plus Minus
Hope

Tens of eyes are now watching the tension between me and George. A spy who does not see the truth. The eyes that only watched a glimpse of the end of the story, but finally succeeded in giving birth to a venomous tongue that judged me. That I was a shameless child, who berated the mother of my own friend. From that day on, George stopped talking to me. While I do not intend to defend myself.

- Back to today

I ignored the voices of the students who were starting to bustle into my classroom. At first it was just me, Noni followed by George. Classes are crowded now. Some students gossiped ria as usual, while another group was busy copying tasks.

Suddenly the bell rang. Everyone back to their table. But the class is still boisterous because of the rumors of children who are still busy telling stories.

"Cintya, are you picket today, the garbage is still in class?" Ask Nico the class commissioner suddenly.

"Gue is also picket kok Nic, sorry was justice chat so forget." replied George as he moved from his seat and grabbed the garbage basket.

The class instantly became silent, as if a hail of ice was going on here. I who was intending to throw the trash also undo the intention and decided to sit back.

"Well, his name is Nic's trash. How could she possibly throw away her own family." - Lydia, the school gossip queen.

The class suddenly returned. They're back to reminiscing about what happened between me, George and his mother last year.

"Gue was surprised, why the trash was still in this class" said someone later. The whole class laughed loudly.

"There's a lot of class." Mr. Rudi the homeroom teacher suddenly appeared from the door.

"Good morning sir." the whole class said hello.

"Where's George?" ask mr. Rudi.

"Get rid of his friends Cintya sir." ledek Lydia.

"What do you mean Lydia?" ask Mr. Rudi seriously.

"No meaning to anything sir" replied Lydia.

tock.tok.. "Excuse me, sir." said George, who was standing at the door carrying an empty trash can.

"Yes, please come in." said Mr. Rudi.

George stepped back to his seat.

"George, break time later meet me at the teacher's office." Ask Mr. Rudi.

"Ready sir." The man's heart.

Throughout Mr. Rudi's lesson my mind rolled back all the memories after the quarrel between me and his mother George.

The whole school was teasing me, and acting like I was the wrong one. The lips kept on commenting without knowing the true truth. Finally the truth for them is a rumor they made themselves. The words that I attacked George's mother. One thing that surprised me was that the school didn't take me out at the time. While George, he was the same as the others. They choose to believe only in what they want.

The break bell is now ringing. Rudi left the class with George.

"Cantin isn't Cin?" ask Noni.

"No ah. I want to be strong." I replied.

"Sorry I forgot." said Noni sincerely. "gue join you aja ya." he added again.

"Don't, ntar loe is hungry." I replied smiling as I understood Noni's guilt.

"You never get to starve" replied Noni innocently.

"Well, I'm Cintya not Noni" I chanted as I left my seat.

"Noni, are you seriously not kantin?" ask me to Noni who has now followed my steps.

"Yes." replied Noni.

"Yasudah. later we share my supplies aja yes." said I offer.

"You're so good Cin. Your name should be Love, not Cyntia." Noni conveyed her words very cheerfully.

We arrived at the library. After returning some books I borrowed a few days ago, I walked towards the bookshelf to find some other interesting books. Noni's the only one who knows about me who rarely goes to the cafeteria. The pocket money I received from my mother, I deliberately kept. In addition, every time I go home from school I also choose to walk. Money for daily expenses I also keep. To save my stomach from hunger during the day, I usually provide lunch. In the morning I went to school by public transport, so as not to be late. If not jammed, from my home to school takes 20-25 minutes trip if using angkot.

Meanwhile in the principal's room, George was discussing with the teachers.

"George, actually in terms of value there are more entitled to this opportunity than you. So I hope you don't waste it." Said the principal.

"Who sir? if there's anything better, why should I?" ask George.

"Because it must be you." replied the headmaster casually.

"I know. It must have something to do with my parents, right? I don't want you to take this opportunity." refused George.

"You have no other choice" the principal said firmly.

"I will only agree with this decision, if other students who are eligible for this pathway also try to enrol." replied George no less emphatically.

"Alright if that's what you want. Mr. Rudi please get Joelin here." Pinta's principal to George's homeroom.

"Sir, if it's him, please don't enroll us in the same university." George asked.

"Father understands. You can go back to class now. I will discuss with Joelin later. Wait for my next call." Said the principal.

Finally George left the principal's room along with the entrance bell that had rang. George walked casually to his class.

"To our students Cyntia from class XII B to immediately come to the principal's office" said Mr. Rudi through a loudspeaker.

Cintya who was preparing to leave the library was shocked by the announcement she had just heard through the loudspeaker.

"What's wrong, cin?" ask Noni.

"don't you know Non. Loe would not let me bring these books classy?" I asked Noni.

"get ready boss." said Noni while taking over the book that Cintya brought.

"If the nanya teacher, say I was called a director yes Non." said me again.

"Okay sip." Reply Noni. Then we walked apart. I went straight to the principal's office, while Noni went back to class.

Tok tok tok. I knocked on the slightly open door of the principal.

"Look Cin. " said Mr. Rudi from inside the principal's room.

I stepped carefully. "What's up, sir?" I was polite when I entered the room. There's the principal, the vice principal and my homeroom teacher. "did I make a mistake?" my question is in my heart.

"Cintya, do you intend to study medicine?" ask the principal.

Hearing that sentence, a new glimmer of hope appeared in my heart.
