Love of the Empress 2: King and Queen
Good News

Over the next few days, Damsi's condition did not change. He looked like he was asleep like the first time he enjoyed a poisoned snack.

From that day on, no more poisoning attempts took place in the palace. This poisoning incident was spread among the palace residents. This led to rumors that the safety of the royal family was threatened.

The rumor reached Tasya's ears. And he had predicted the consequences of poisoning experienced by Damsi.

Now he felt his fate to be a spectacle for the inhabitants of the palace. Because he could feel the look of pity on everyone he met in the palace.

Thought those people, Tasya guessed it must be about the end of his fate later after the king of Daffa died to the battlefield.

The Queen's guess is true. Almost all of the palace's inhabitants are now guessing the tragic end to the young queen's life. Like the queen's mother before her. Queen Elva is still in a coma. Also his father, the king of Jordan whose existence disappeared out of nowhere.

Many palace residents guessed that the fate of queen Tasya would not be much different from the two parents.

With this assumption, another assumption emerged from the minds of the palace dwellers. That they believe there are foreign powers who want to overthrow the power of the royal family today.

Most all just hope that they will not be affected by the current power struggle in the palace.

For several days it was also Tasya decided to sleep together with his son. He really felt worried about the current conditions within the palace.

There was not much he could trust anymore other than Jun and Afni. While Damsi, still unconscious until a week has passed already.

Damsi condition remains in dormant status even up to the following three weeks. So even one month his loyal servant lay unconscious.

During that one month, there was a lot going on.

Daffa and his troops had arrived at the border by the second week of his departure for Goluth. He fought his first battle in the city of Byak, a city in the kingdom of Goluth.

In that battle, the Daffa army won their victory. This may have been due to Goluth's military forces having been scattered at some point. So that the sudden Daffa attack made them not have enough preparation to fend off the attack carried out by Daffa forces.

The news of the victory only reached the queen of Tasya in the third week. The message was delivered by a soldier, who then Tasya grace will be a bag of gold for the good news that was delivered.

Tasya let the soldier alone be the messenger who will deliver the news directly from the king of Daffa to him. The queen's intention is to minimize the appearance of fake news from the enemy. If the courier who delivered it is different.

Although it does not rule out the possibility also if the soldier has been bribed by the enemy later.

But Tasya had anticipated the threat of bribery from the enemy side to the soldier. He had strangled the soldier with a potion of loyalty. The potion was once given to Tasya Damsi first, before the poisoning happened to him.

The loyalty potion will react when the soldier has another purpose in every utterance. Especially after Tasya asked her some opening questions like,

"You're being honest about this, aren't you?"

Or a question like the following, too,

"You delivered a direct message from the king of Daffa, didn't you?"

In the third week, Tasya also heard another good news. This time the good news came from the mouth of prince Hima, the son of Tasya and Daffa one by one.

On a sunny afternoon, while Tasya was reading a report file that he had to put on a royal seal, Hima suddenly faced him.

At that time Prince Hima was accompanied by the head of Jun's bodyguards, as usual.

"Queen's mother! Queen's mother!" Himada cried out.

Tasya's attention was immediately split. He also looked ahead. Towards his son, Himada who now ran a little towards him.

"Himada, Honey! Be careful!!"

Uncompleted Tasya gave a warning to Hima, when suddenly his son was tripped by his own feet.

Almost his little prince fell, if only there was no pair of hands that swiftly catch his body so he did not fall.

"ah! Thank you Uncle Jun!" Himada said directly to the head of Jun's bodyguard.

"Together the little prince!" Jun said with a friendly smile.

Tasya blinked his eyes several times as he saw the interaction between the prince of Himada and the head of Jun's bodyguard. Over the past few weeks something had changed in the attitude and gesture of Jun's bodyguard. Especially was his protective attitude towards the prince Hima.

Tasya surmised that Himada had again made others fall in love with her adorable figure.

A big smile on the beautiful face of the queen. He then welcomed his son's hand with a joyous expression.

"What's up. The boy? Are you all right? You almost fell down earlier." asked the queen while examining the knees and arms of the prince Himada. Worried that there were blisters on his son's body.

"It's okay, Mother! Hima is fine!" Hima said with a sweet smile.

Tasya pinched the nose shoot plan of Himada fondly. The pair of hazel eyes in front of her always reminded Tasya of her husband, the king of Daffa. Tasya really misses her husband.

"Queen's mother! Huna just got home. And do you know Mother? Huna knows where Rinai lives right now!" Sahut Himada excited.

"Huna knows where Rinai lives? How come?" Tasya asked in confusion.

Tasya remembered that a few days ago his son told him that Huna had suddenly gone missing. At that time Tasya did not respond too much to Himada's sadness. He was grateful if the astral figure of Huna went missing. That way his son will not receive a strange view of the palace servants who accidentally watched as he mingled with the figure of Huna.

But, with what his son just said earlier, Tasya's mind raced fast.

'Isn't Rinai the daughter of Queen Charrine who has been missing for two months? According to Hima, Huna knew of her current residence?!' the queen muttered.
