”Why do you want to accompany me on the night shift?” Zabrina asked suddenly after being quiet for quite a long time.
”Eh? I can't bear it. He-he, how smart is that?” James replied with a cry.
Zabrina silently looked at James “You will not be able to meet Helen” he said later.
“Eh? If that's what's wrong. Soon” James replied while taking a broom and pengki.
“Not the reason you work here is that girl?” Ask Zabrina again.
James smiled as he began to sweep from the inside. “iya really. But it doesn't look like it will come?” Said later.
“Iya” Zabrina quick reply.
“Wah? You are really hurting my feelings” saut James while raising his hand to the chest.
Zabrina only gave a small smile, while still wiping the table in front of her.
“Zab? You're not working here?” Ask James who has reached the middle of the room.
Zabrina just stared at James in silence, looking not understand what James meant just now ”get bored enough also” he replied later.
”I mean, disinhibited, well you know, for temporary work. Where do you have a shadow after this? Or the ideal of what to do?” James asked at length. James is terrible at having a stale affair with a woman. What else is as unique as Zabrina.
Zabrina just smiled “you mean my future plans?” said then “I will marry”
James stared at Zabrina with a slightly probing face ”That's it? Well good if so” said James then who just because he did not want to respond with an opinion that could make Zabrina offended.
”I always walk the groove. And lucky to be born a woman. So I don't have to think about anything before I make a decision. I will step by using my intuition and if when everything is not as I want, I just stay to escape by marrying” said Zabrina with an expression that is still ordinary.
“If you are alone?” Now replace Zabrina who asked.
“I still have to finish my college. Then continue the family” business replied James.
Zabrina listened with still wiping the table, which now has another table again ”what is your family business field? What does this have to do with technique?” Ask later.
”Eh?” James looks surprised to hear Zabrina ask it ”no anyway, not related to technique. His trading efforts and things like that” replied James, his heart was a little extra work because he had to answer Zabrina's questions without leaving any suspicions about his status that he did not want to show it.
And somehow then look Zabrina smiled, ”then why did you go to college majoring in that?” Zabrina asked again.
”Eh?” Zabrina's second attack paralyzed power said James, ”ya it's because I like the field of technik” he replied after that.
”If you like that field why don't you take a course or something, aren't you wasting your time and money in college?” Zabrina's question is still welcome.
”Why do you think so Zab? By studying I can add insight, friends, and get a degree” James replied against back. He still did not understand the way the mind of this less expressive girl.
”From all the things you mentioned it's just a degree that you can't get from a course or something. So the point is to roll? So this is some kind of title chase? Some kind of standardization of your social prestige?” Zabrina silenced James.
”Bu-not that, it's kind of chasing something you believe” James is trying to survive.
”We always find it difficult to distinguish between an ideal and self-esteem” replied Zabrina who this time without question.
”But even if the ideals or sense of prestige though, sometimes we need it Zab. Something for us to pursue. Makes us keep on track. Gitu”
Zabrina was silent again in response to James' words. Then nodded with a small smile on his face. James had no idea what that smile and nod meant.
