“Indeed you like to come here huh?” James asked as they were already able to enjoy their grilled corn.
“Hm” Zabrina nodded still busy with corn in her mouth.
They ate on James's motorbike parked on the side of the road facing the sidewalk. Zabrina ate the corn greedily. Makes James think maybe this is the quiet girl's favorite food. The expression of Zabrina he saw for the first time.
“You really like grilled corn huh? To the extent that eating nothing else. It was still wrapped again. Who do you make?” James asked, starting the conversation.
Zabrina looked at James for a few seconds as if thinking but fast “make me” replied later.
“Wah, who really? Three more bumps still fit?” Canda James's.
Zabrina just smiled a little silently.
“But Zab, how did you bring me here?” Ask James then.
“Create me, I no longer have vehicle” replied Zabrina briefly.
“Oh, so only for doang dong drivers?” Saut James with a tone he made angry “but no matter what, treated this” he added with a crisp smile later.
“Oya Jan,” suddenly Zabrina spoke after being silent for quite a long time “you know?”
“What?”
“Helen often come the same temen-tennya kemir” saut zabrina later. And instantly made James choke. “Who knows we can meet him now” added Zabrina before James started coughing.
“You're teasing me huh?” James replied in a hoarse voice after successfully overcoming his choking problem.
“I seriously” replied Zabrina with a sharp gaze as if only the yes answer in every question James doubted him.
This time it was James's turn to hear Zabrina's steady response.
“Have you not had to be so panicked” said Zabrina then while looking around as if to help James find Helen's whereabouts among the crowd.
“I'm just surprised, that's it” James defended himself.
“Alright then, how about we go home now” say Zabrina then.
“Ba-lah come” James looks stammered because a small part of his heart still hopes to stay longer in this place.
“You're okay, right?” Zabrina stared at James' strange behavior.
James simply nodded in a smile, then readied his vehicle. And just as he was about to start his motorbike, the prowess of a figure he was very familiar with seemed to greet his eyes. And as soon as he focused his gaze, it was clear that his beloved girl was standing in front of a black sedan with a young man eating in a small bowl in his hand, sitting on a car-cap.
“Lucky once you this” saut Zabrina quickly saw the figure of Helen across the road “you want us here first?” Zabrina then looked at James who was reluctant to move from where he stood looking at Helen.
“What?” James half-consciously answered Zabrina's question with another question.
“Do not ask someone who is asking, especially without seeing it, it is not polite” Zabrina hit slowly the shoulder of James who has not also looked at him.
“Sorry?” Said James who this time just stared at the collar of zabrina.
“You're this” Zabrina shook her head slowly “You still want to be here or what?” Ask again.
“If you really want to go home, yes let's” James replied hesitantly and a little reluctantly.
“You don't say yes with a face like that” timpal Zabrina again. “You're such a planner anyway? Not firm at all”
James just smiled crisply looking at Zabrina, and after once again staring at Helen he said “Have come let's go” and then turn on the bike.
Zabrina just stared in silence before riding into the rear bonnet of James's bike, and James's bike drove away from the place.
“Ku deliver to where Zab?” James asked from the bike.
“Until the front stop only, let me take the public transport home” replied Zabrina, “Are you jealous of the man earlier?” The question then veered toward James' conversation about driving him home.
“What do you mean?” James pretended to be stupid.
“Same man Helen, you're jealous of her huh?” Ask Zabrina again without further ado.
“No. Why do you think that?” James answered half-truthfully. It may be true that he was not jealous, but a little part of his heart felt sick to find Helen with the man.
“Then why were you in such a hurry to leave?” Zabrina was still curious.
“I just don't want him to see me that's it” James replied later.
“Why? Is it because you're walking with me?” Zabrina still connected her sense of curiosity.
“Not, not that. I just don't want to meet him” James replied again. He didn't want Helen to see a bruise on his left eye.
Zabrina did not continue the question. Whether he had been satisfied or simply respected James' decision, his face still showed the same expression.
James dropped Zabrina off at a stop before returning home. James wanted to end the day immediately and try to eliminate all the bad things that happened today.
