Hearing that scream made my heart beat even louder, my body trembled in fear. The events unfolded, when I was kidnapped by Hadi. Without me noticing the tears in my eyes. For my safety, I tried to calm down and think straight, I took a deep breath over and over again. Until I finally started crawling closer to Sugi's car.

I don't want them to catch me back this time. Luckily the entire parking lot was covered in paving, so I no longer needed to disguise my footprints. I speed up my movements. I finally got to Sugi's car safely.

With trembling hands I opened the passenger door and entered quickly. Sugi looked at me who had just entered. My trembling index finger was in front of my lips, hinting Sugi to be quiet. Carefully then I closed the car door and locked it from inside "click!"

Sugi seemed to understand and whispered "What's wrong?" with a worried face.

Not yet able to answer his question, a fellow shadow of someone approached us. I slid towards Sugi and covered his mouth with my right hand that was still shaking violently. I didn't realize my body was squeezing him. He remained motionless, seemingly resigned to my treatment.

I was so afraid I could barely breathe properly. While looking at Sugi I tried to catch my breath slowly. While my tears were dripping without me being able to hold back, I sobbed without a sound.

The people who were chasing Riri began to arrive one by one, they were seen pacing around this car.

"Are you sure no one came in here?" One of the thugs seemed to ask his friend who was on guard up ahead.

"Nothing, I've been standing guard here, boss!" Answer it firmly.

They looked through all the corners there. Even peek into every car there is, because they believe the person they are chasing is still around here.

Fortunately, Sugi's car glass was dark, so no one could see the person inside. But instead Riri and Sugi could see the movements of those people clearly.

Sugi wiped away my tears with his hands. He slowly lowered his hand from his mouth. I still feel the rest of the warmth from his breath in my hand. His hand pulled me gently towards him, he hugged me tightly. My cry became increasingly firmer in his embrace.

"Not to be afraid, there I am" she whispered softly in my ear

While outside the people who are chasing Riri look frustrated

"Damn!! Our time is running out!!! That old Bangka won't pay a dime if that woman doesn't meet!! BRAK!!!" One man hit the hood of one of the cars that was there hard.

"From the footprints under the bush he should be around here" said one other person

"Try looking under the car around here. We'll stay here until morning. I'm sure he'll be out soon. Because this is the only way out of this place" said another chimed

"But are you sure that's the girl we're looking for? "

"Lacking sure the truth but if not him why would he run away from us?!!

Their conversation sounded distant.

After feeling better, I stretched her arms. My hand reached out to the tissue that was there.

"What if I help you beat them all up?!" Sugi continued, still whispering

I shook my head "don't come out, they are many and carry sharp weapons" I whispered

"You're worried about my safety?" Whisper with a smile

I nodded "if you get hurt, I won't forgive myself"

"Let's just calm down, old man will come to our aid"

"I mean Mr Doni?" I looked at him while smiling with relief.

Surely there had not been ten minutes I heard the sound of two cars squeaking from a distance. Looks like Mr. Doni came to bring some people here. The car stopped right in front of us.

I could hear the footsteps of those who were chasing me earlier running towards the car to surround it. Mr. Doni who was wearing a mask and a hat then got out of the car with his men.

"You who?? How dare to come here to wreak havoc on our territory!!!" Shouted pak Doni

"Oh this brengs*k again, what is your life that much until you dare to come here?!!!" Mr. Doni opened the mask and hat

The person who looked the most sinister was shocked. His steps suddenly stopped because he saw the face of Mr. Doni who was standing in front of him

The person slowly backed back at his members. His face seemed to not believe what he was seeing now. The person in front of him was the right hand of the ruler of this region. He remembered very well their fight at one bar where they had gathered. He almost died because he dared to challenge him directly. Just one punch and kick managed to render him unconscious, ending up in a coma for a month in the hospital.

"Don*n!! Why did this right hand of the Wijaya family suddenly come here? Are they protecting the woman I'm looking for?! If from the beginning I knew I was going to face him, I would definitely reject the offer" he murmured inwardly

"Hey Anj*ng why just shut up? Do you want me to break your ribs again like I used to?"

"I'm sorry, I seem to have been wrong to come here looking for someone" he said, then gave the code to members to leave there

"Hey for a second, don't go. Tell me first why did you come here? It's good to go!"

"I was told to find a woman named Mentari. But I will stop the search now" he said, looking down

Mr. Doni is approaching

"Who is that guy? Say quick!"

"Tell him my message, the Minister is already a part of us. To disturb him is to disturb us. You gotit?!" Mr. Doni patted the man's arm hard

He flinched then nodded "under the boss's understanding" he began to fidget

"Yes, now get the hell out of here or I change my mind again" Mr. Doni smiled cynically

The man ran away in a storm following his members who had already left the place.

Sugi got down from the car followed by Riri who was still dumbfounded to see the scene earlier.

"Why is it so long ?!" Said to Mr. Doni

"Sorry sir, I tried as fast as I could to come here" he replied with his head lowered

"Other times outside of work hours, always remember to wear a mask and a hat. I do not like Pak Doni to be recognized by more people" said Sugi again, his hand hinted Mr. Doni and his men to go from there.

"Good sir"

"Pak Doni is the greatest!!!" I held my two thumbs up to him

Mr. Doni smiled sumringah hearing my praise "Thank you, Miss Riri is too much. This is my job, ma'am"

"Thank you sir" I said to him again

"It is with pleasure, Mom, then I say goodbye first"

"Dad sir, be careful on the road" I replied as I turned towards Sugi. I saw Sugi twitching his forehead

I followed him from behind, I saw him come in and sit behind the wheel

"I'm the only one driving" I said feeling bad

"Get in" she replied briefly, I felt her mood turn upset.
