Love For Ambariana's

Love For Ambariana's
3. Dulled

The day that awaited arrived, little Ambar waved his hand upwards, greeting Father who was crossing the street. Ambar, who was standing next to the school gate, walked a few steps closer to the edge of the highway.

"How was the last day of the test?" father Ambar asked as soon as he got in front of his little daughter. The man was still wearing an office suit when he picked up Ambar.

"Easy! Ambar is sure to get good grades," Ambar said confidently. Both of his hands held tightly to the strap of the school bag while the body moved to the right and left alternately.

Ambar's father raised an eyebrow. "Times?"

Ambar nodded, confirming his words. "Yapp... Today is not Dad?"

"Let's go baby Ambar."

The two crossed the road again, to a car parked in front of the mini market. Along the way to the house, Ambar tells about his activities at school. Tells about his friends' vacation plans, also the task of making a holiday-themed story.

Ambar's father responded to his daughter's story enthusiastically, not shirking her focus on driving. About 15 minutes on the way, their car arrived in the yard. With enthusiasm, Ambar got off the car. Running away from his father.

Little Ambar called out to his mother, but there was no response. Ambar went around the house, but the results were still nil. Her mother does not exist. The little girl began to panic thinking why her mother was not home? where did the mother go?

"Dad!"

Ambar finally came back to the front, calling the father to ask the whereabouts of Mother.

While outside, Ambar's father who was about to open the car door, immediately froze when the net saw there was another car parked behind his car. It's less than 40 meters.

Indeed the car has been there since, even Ambar's father had passed. But when he saw the 2nd time, he was surprised because the car was not foreign to him. Ambar's father often saw him in the office parking lot.

Realizing from his composure, Ambar's father moved down from the car. His steps were hurried, especially when he saw his daughter was about to walk out.

With an erratic feeling, Ambar's father pulled the little Ambar towards the living room. His unusual facial expression certainly made Little Ambar curious, a speck of fear appearing in his heart. As if asking 'why is Dad's gaze like that? what's the matter?'

Ambar's father humbled in front of his daughter. "Dad has a challenge for Ambar. If Ambar makes it through this challenge, then after going to the zoo you'll buy Ambar a big stuffed rabbit."

"Daddy promise?" seeing his father nod, Ambar was delighted. But just for a moment, the little girl suddenly remembered her mother. "Dad, where's mom?"

"Mom was going to the shop for a while. Come on, now Ambar take on Dad's challenge..."

Ambar's father opened a nightstand measuring 70×50×70 which on one of his doors there is a sign 'to be loak-an.' Take out a worn folding mattress along with pillows and bolsters. He put a set of sleeping devices on the nightstand.

His focus now turned to looking at his daughter. "Ambar must remain silent in the nightstand, and must not make any sound until I tell Ambar to come out."

"But why Dad?

"Dad wanted to test Ambar's patience" he said with a light smile.

"Just calm down, I'm not gonna lock the nightstand. And don't be afraid of the dark ... Look at the little holes in the carvings on this door." Ambar's father pointed to a minimalist carving on the nightstand door. "Air and light will enter through here."

Ambar nodded in understanding. "Good Dad." The little girl finally got into the nightstand, sitting with her legs folded, looking for a comfortable position to keep quiet at her father's command.

"Remember, you can't make a sound and get out before you call Ambar. If you hear a voice Ambar does not like, Ambar can close his ears tightly."

Their gazes locked onto each other, as if hypnotized, Ambar nodded like a robot.

Inside the nightstand, Ambar was still silent. The little girl's gaze peered through the small holes on the door carving. Straight watch his father's departure, heading ahead.

In that silence, the sound of the seconds of the wall clock and Ambar's heartbeat raced in tandem. His mind was screwed up, somewhere in the direction.

......................

In the living room, just as Ambar's father was about to close the door, a figure that made him fret stood right in front of him, with 2 people looking like thugs behind him.

The eyes of Ambar's father and the three men clashed with each other. Arrogant and condescending, that's what Ambar's father felt.

"What made Mr. Haris spend his precious time coming to my residence?" ask Daddy Ambar.

The figure who turned out to be named Haris, smiled lightly. "Your house is quite comfortable," said Haris not connecting. Unasked, the 35-year-old man stepped into Ambar's father's residence. His net swept through the entire space.

Ambar's father retreated slowly, his heart growing uneasy. "If you want to discuss something, you better not be here, let's meet outside, Mr. Haris."

"I won't be long... Jan, hurry up and do your job." Haris looked back for a moment and told his men to hurry.

A thug-looking man named Ijan then approached Ambar's father. Aided by a friend, they clutch both of Ambar's Father's arms tightly, pushing him against the wall. Ijan pulled the knife on the jacket pocket and then smoothed it on Ambar's father's stomach. Not just once, but many times. While his friend pulled the head of Ambar's father to be then smashed on the wall.

Ambar's father did not have time to rebel, all that happened so quickly. No screams echoed, only moans were held back. Even at times like this, he did not want his beloved daughter to hear the terrible sounds she was making. Not wanting to make her beloved daughter scared.

All were restrained until his consciousness slowly disappeared. As for Haris, the man just stared at Ambar's father expressionlessly.

"That's the result if you don't follow my game, act pretentious and try to overthrow my office" said Haris.

The man turns out to hold a job vendetta against Ambar's father. Feeling that his position as manager is threatened because Ambar's father does not receive additional facilities from him.

Not all companies like that, but there are some people who provide additional facilities in the form of luxury parties that will be done every few times a month, scheduled. Not only that, these people also gave them paid women for free.

Haris looked cynically at Ambar's father who was no longer alive. The man then told his men to take Ambar's father to the living room, put him to bed on the sofa.

Not satisfied, Ambar's mother also became a victim. It happened just a few minutes after they moved Ambar's father.

Ambar's mother who was carrying shopping items, unsuspectingly pulled the door, opened it wide when she wanted to enter the house. A second later Haris' men smothered his mouth and pulled Ambar's mother into the living room.

Ambar's mother's rebellion was in vain, her strength was no greater than the two men who were guarding her. The woman glared as her neutrals looked at her husband's condition.

Without further ado, both of Haris' men did the same to Ambar's mother. Stabbing and banging his head against the wall several times.

The check was missed, Ambar's mother fell on the cold floor.

After the execution was completed, Ijan put the knife in a plastic bag to burn later. With Haris' orders, the two slightly ruffled the house and took some valuables.

While Haris, the man watched for a moment the couple who had now claimed their lives in front of him. "Quiet you in the afterlife" he said. Then circulate his gaze to all corners of the room, staring at their wedding photos intensely, checking the rooms and other rooms.

Once it felt safe enough, the three left the house casually. As if nothing happened.
