I'm Giving Up

"Mr Tia..." Kaliesta murmuring.

"Sorry to bother you" said Tia saw the position of Anto's hand that was still on Kaliesta's cheek. Anto pulled his hand and put it in his pants pocket.

"I just want to say, that we're from the branch office tomorrow going home and friends want to say goodbye, they're waiting for you" Tia told Anto and immediately turned her body around.

"Sir Tia...!!" Kaliesta called out to Tia half-cried, but Tia still passed as if not hearing Kaliesta's voice.

"Let him.." said Anto while holding Kaliesta's hand as Kaliesta moved to chase after Tia.

"But Mas... Sister Tia...?"

"We will meet friends from Bandung. Tomorrow morning they will go home first, in the afternoon friends from the papa office will also go home" said Anto while pulling Kaliesta's hand walking inside.

"Yes..."

"Come on..."

Kaliesta followed and followed Anto's steps. There is already Mr. Hanafi and his wife among the employees from Bandung. Anto stood guard over his father, Kaliesta standing near Anto.

"Tomorrow morning we will be back together.I hope this holiday leaves good memories for us and makes us excited again in work" said Mr. Hanafi opened the conversation.

But he could not think for long because his eyes looked at the figure of Tia who seemed not too focused on what Mr. Hanafi was talking about. The woman was busy with her cell phone.

When at the end the employees from Anto's father's office say goodbye, Kaliesta stands beside Anto to join hands with them alternately including with Tia. They shook hands, Tia then hugged him.

"Mr... ?"

"We go home first thing tomorrow morning" Tia said.

"Be careful on Ma'am's road"

"Thank you, enjoy your honeymoon." said Tia made Kaliesta's body stiffen. Kaliesta stretched his body and looked at Tia who was also looking at him with an incomprehensible look.

"Sir.me and Mas Anto just..."

"I gave up" Tia said slowly and soon passed.

Kaliesta was about to prevent Tia's move, but the next person who was waiting to say goodbye to him disengaged Kaliesta's intention, there were still many other employees waiting in line to say goodbye.

tia's words today revolved around her head. Sorry to bother you guys, enjoy your honeymoon, then I give up, making Kaliesta feel like a snatch on someone else's partner.

"Are you unwell?"

Anto who had just finished changing her clothes in the bathroom, was now staring at Kaliesta who was twitching his own head. Kaliesta.

"No" he said briefly.

"Thinking something?" ask Anto again. Kaliesta looked at Anto.

"Dad said we're going home tomorrow together with..."

"Father and Mother also Papa and Mama will indeed go home tomorrow with different flight hours. But we're not going home yet"

Anto cuts Kaliesta's sentence and explains making Kaliesta's forehead wrinkled.

"Why don't we come home?" ask Kaliesta.

"You don't like me taking time off and extending our vacation?" Anto asked back.

"Extended vacation...? what is it for...? it seems like Ma'am Tia would not like it either and would be upset if he knew that we were extending the holiday.It's worth it that he said that to me"

"Did Tia say something to you?" ask Anto. Kaliesta looked at the man.

"I understand it now. She's upset. He said we were on our honeymoon" Kaliesta said.

"Tia's right we're on our honeymoon"
