LOVE CONSULTANT
Preeclampsia (Pregnancy poisoning).

Princess Pov.

After the bloody night, my relationship with Paijo made little difference. Where we touch more often, although not to fondle.

I love being spoiled, and he who doesn't like being seduced. So we clicked on each other.

Every day he picks me up and picks me up. Even if it doesn't get to the front door. However, I am quite grateful, because I fell into my husband's hands.

Maybe love does not have to be spoken, miss does not have to be conveyed. Body language cannot lie. We need each other.

Today I have a lot of patients to deal with. One of them is a mother with a case of pregnancy poisoning or in the medical language of pre-eclampsia.

Pregnancy poisoning or known as preeclampsia is one of the conditions in pregnancy that cannot be taken lightly. This is even at risk for every pregnant woman.

If not immediately detected early, pregnancy poisoning can endanger the life of the fetus and also the mother. Preeclampsia usually begins to attack pregnant women from the age of 20 weeks of pregnancy and above.

Symptoms of preeclampsia in each woman are different. However, the most common signs are proteinuria (high protein in the urine) and hypertension (high blood pressure).

What can be the cause of preeclampsia during pregnancy?

First, the placenta is not developing properly.

During the early stages of pregnancy, special blood vessels that deliver nutrients into the uterus will grow to expand into the placenta. When these blood vessels are not fully developed, the placenta cannot develop properly.

This is due to insufficient intake of nutrients obtained by the placenta. This condition can also cause preeclampsia.

Although it is not yet known exactly what causes blood vessels and the placenta not to develop properly, it is likely one of them is due to genetic factors.

Second, there is family history.

As mentioned earlier, genetics play an important role in a pregnant woman's risk of developing preeclampsia.

If the mother has family members who have previously experienced preeclampsia, such as mothers or sisters, then the risk of mothers to also experience it will be even greater.

Even so, if in the first pregnancy the mother has experienced preeclampsia, the next in the pregnancy of the second child the mother is also at risk of re-experiencing the condition.

The third factor is age over 35.

The age of the mother during pregnancy also plays a role in risk factors for preeclampsia. If a woman is pregnant with an age above 35 years, then the risk is also greater for preeclampsia.

However, it is still not known with certainty what exactly causes maternal age factors also play a role in causing preeclampsia. It is strongly suspected that this is due to the quality and quantity of eggs that increasingly decline as women age.

Blood pressure is one of the things related to preeclampsia. Therefore, everything related to high blood pressure is feared to be the cause of preeclampsia.

These include passive or infrequent lifestyles of sports and hobbies eating fast food. Some diets that are known to increase the risk of high blood pressure are eating excessive salt, drinking less water, eating fried foods and drinking alcoholic beverages too often.

Fifth factor, obesity.

Note also the weight of the mother before and during pregnancy, yes. This condition also plays a role in the risk of preeclampsia.

Obesity that occurs when the body mass index is above 25 or more, also increases the risk of preeclampsia in pregnant women.

Although it is not yet clear what the link is between obesity and preeclampsia, obesity is thought to increase blood pressure which is the cause of preeclampsia.

Sixth factor, pregnant twins.

Pregnancy with twins is also one of the possible causes of preeclampsia. This is because during twin pregnancy, your body will usually make more complex adjustments than if you were pregnant with a single fetus.

If in a single fetal pregnancy preeclampsia usually occurs at the age of 20 weeks, then in twin fetal pregnancy this condition may occur earlier.

Preeclampsia can cause long-term damage to the kidneys and liver, and can increase the risk of heart disease later in life.

Seventh, there is a certain disease.

Certain types of diseases are also known to be the cause of preeclampsia, one of which is antiphospholipid syndrome or antiphospolipid syndrome (APS), or also called Hughes syndrome. This syndrome is an autoimmune disorder that causes the blood to clot and clot easily. This condition is usually referred to as thick blood disease.

In antiphospholipid syndrome, the immune system produces antibodies that make blood thicker than normal conditions, so it can risk causing blood clots in arteries and veins. Blood clots that form this can cause people with antiphospholipif syndrome to experience preeclampsia.

Therefore, do not take lightly the importance of routinely consulting a doctor and find out what the health history in the family is like.

That's seven factors that cause mothers to experience pregnancy poisoning or in medical terms known as preeclampsia. If you want to program children, then you should consult a doctor or if you have one or more of the factors causing pregnancy poisoning, then do not be afraid to check yourself.

(In this part the author discusses the topic of pregnancy poisoning. Because this is common in pregnant women at the age of seven months. Since one of the main characters in this novel is an obstetrician, there is no harm in sharing knowledge. There is no other meaning to this topic. Authors just share knowledge and remind each other. Because the author has also experienced this, and it feels really uncomfortable.)

To be continued.

I'll see you tomorrow, Readers. Sorry in this part only tells about medical science, even if only a little story. But to me it's precious enough. May we always be in the protection of Allah SWT. Aamiins.

Happy reading.
