the Truth is Not Good

The princess was flabbergasted at Peter's words, she did not expect Peter to say such a bitter word. The princess just looked down lethargic and started to shed her tears. The eagle seemed to be emotionally listening to Peter's sharp words, the Eagle knew the Princess' heart was now as if stuck in a knife. He wanted to get inflamed and rebuked Peter, but Tina again forbade him from saying a word.

"A stupid woman like you is nothing. Like this Sari, you will also have the same fate. You'll only be thrown away by Roger when he knows which lady is classy and not." Peter grew increasingly arrogant and continued to stick thorns into the heart of the Princess.

Peter turned to Tina who was holding the Eagle to vent his anger.

"You shouldn't expect much either, Tina. Keep these words in mind that I will not let Roger marry your classless son. Not quite as good as Roger!"

The princess sobbed to hear it, Sari hugged the Princess tightly in her arms and tried to calm her down.

While the Eagle could stand it no longer, he raised his tone, "hey! Keep talking!"

Peter looked at the Eagle cynically.

"Or what?" Challenge Peter to the Eagle.

"You only have a small workshop that I think only has one or two customers and then you hope to marry your son to my son in order to gain control of my son's property, huh?"

The eagle wanted to advance but Tina's hand held her back.

"Look, you're just scared of your wife. How can you be an honorable man?!" Peter is getting arrogant.

Tina took a breath for a moment and approached Peter with the most upset in her crown.

"You may insult me, sir, because I am your employee. But you can't insult my son or my husband."

"Then what do you want?" Challenge Peter to demean Tina.

"You'll receive my resignation letter tomorrow at your desk." Tina vented an explosion in her chest while still trying to calm down.

"There's no need tomorrow, right now you're fired and never again have your family or you show up in front of me!" Peter shouted in front of everyone while pointing at Tina's face.

Suddenly a fist landed on Peter's cheek until a crimson blur extended near the temples of his eyes. The eagle was still clenching his hands and looking at Peter with so much fury flaring in his eyes. Tina who was momentarily unaware the Eagle would act far away immediately held the Eagle's shoulder firmly, she tried to calm the Eagle down.

"Mas already, hold your emotions. I beg you, Mas." Tina clenched firmly onto the two Eagle hands in both of her hands.

"Once again you insult my son and my wife then I will not hesitate to hunt you wherever you are! Catch that!" The Eagle's voice made Peter speechless.

Peter tried to stand up, but his eyes were twitching.

The Eagle pulls the Princess' hand to leave immediately, the Princess wants to hang on while staring at Roger behind the window but Tina looks at him with hope for the Princess to follow the Eagle's wishes. The princess chose to go in the steps of the Eagle. Sari was the same, she chose to walk in the arms of Tina without knowing where she was going. He did not care about Peter's condition, who was still grimacing in pain.

Peter tidied up his shirt and rubbed a sting on his temple.

"I'll make them suffer!"

He took his phone and called someone.

"Hello, brother how are you?" Greet someone across the phone.

"I'm not doing well, I want you to take care of this guy. I'll send the profile to whatsapp. You want you to make them pay for all their treatment and humiliation for me tonight."

"All right, I'll do it. But how much is it?"

"Whatever you want, I'll send you a blank check."

"Wow, that's just a big boss. Okay, let's just say this job's been done."

Peter grinned horribly and hung up the phone.

"Look at you, that's the lesson in playing around with Peter!"

Sari stayed near the Eagle Car that was calming the Princess to want to go inside. Tina approached him with a fluffy smile. Sari looked at Tina with tear stubs.

"I'm confused where I'm going, Tin. My mom said I haven't been divorced by Peter so I'm still Peter's legal wife. Mom told me to go back to Peter's house but I didn't want to. Peter will throw me out later."

"Stay in our house last night, think you're going back to Jogja tomorrow or find a contract house near me." Tina calmed Sari who was still sobbing.

"You'll know I haven't worked all this time, Peter's been against me. I don't have the income to rent a house. I was too stupid and believed in Peter, see now I'm a woman who can't do anything. I graduated with Cumlaude in college."

"Relax, you can work to help Mas Eagle. The bookkeeping was a mess, I completely gave up on taking care of her finances." Tina mocked the Eagle who was ready to start the car.

"I can't afford to hire the best graduates on campus." The eagle joked.

Sari smiled and rubbed her tears slowly.

"I don't need to be paid anything, as long as I get a place to stay and eat first for a while." Sari said with a smile that started to rise.

"You must be the strong woman you used to be, me and Mas Eagle will help you here. You're not alone, Sari. You still have both of us and Mas Yo and Maria. They'll help you if we tell them how you are."

"Don't, Tin. I don't want to take Maria. He was already too dizzy with Roger's mischief at that time. I'm really embarrassed to meet them both."

"Alright, stay with us for a while. We beg you until you're really ready to be independent, how?"

Sari nodded as she looked at Tina gratefully. He squeezed both hands of Tina gently and chuckled.

Atha was still silent in her room as Dian came and knocked on the door anxiously.

"De, what are you doing inside? Since last night you have been quiet. Are you not the same as your boss? You got her home yesterday."

No voice from Atha.

Zaki came out of the room and shook his head to see Dian in front of the door of Atha's room.

"Ckckck, how noisy are you these afternoons what the hell is it?"

"This is Atha from the morning not out of the room." Dian answered her alas.

"Why him?" Zaki asked confusedly.

"I don't know, Mas. Since yesterday he came home from his boss, he did not leave the room until his boss called him Atha why not go to work today."

"So she's not going to work anymore?" Syndicent Zaki.

"Again?"

"I mean I didn't get into that rich job a few months ago."

"That's different, when she got to work when we got married?"

Zaki chose to be quiet for a moment.

Atha sat beside Dian spoiled and told a story. The story begins from the moment Atha sees the face of the Princess.

The princess was still sobbing in the car as her head collapsed on Tina's thigh. Tina continued to rub the Princess' hair and calm her down.

"Yes, baby, don't cry. Remove those tears. Yesterday you yourself who had said to Mama, if you want to break up with Roger but never can. Maybe it's a hint from God that you can be separated anyway?"

The princess still sobbed slowly.

Sari looked out the car glass, Building, Tree, and several other buildings as they passed by. The eagle was driving that car quickly, his heart was still covered in rage.

"I know Roger's behavior was so down from Peter. Sorry in advance if this offends you, Sari."

Sari shook her head, "it's okay, Mas. I just got out of the house one year and Roger's behavior changed drastically from what I knew. He gets angry easily and swears at anyone."

"Mas is not discussed. Our minds are both tired today. Let Sari calm down." Tina tried to be wise.

"Yes, I get it. I was only so upset when Peter insulted you that he even dared to insult Sari in front of us."

"I'm used to being insulted like that, Lang. I'm really tired of living like this. I think divorce is best but it is not. He just keeps haunting my life and doesn't hesitate to embarrass me." Sari rubbed her eyes slowly.

"He hasn't signed the divorce papers yet?" Tina asked softly.

Tina gave him a piece of tissue, "you're patient. I hope your divorce will be ratified by the Court soon. It's a pity that you continue like this."

"Yes, Tin. I just thought of Roger how it would be if he found out Peter forbade the Princess from being with him."

"Honestly, Sar. I wish Princess wasn't with Roger." The eagle said.

Sari was silent for a moment, there was a sense of disappointment and gratitude coming towards her.

"I was hoping the Princess would make Roger better but hearing Roger hit the Princess, I was afraid the Princess would feel what I felt during my life with Peter. I'm disappointed that Roger didn't become the Princess but somehow I feel grateful that the Princess doesn't constantly feel what I've been feeling all along." Sari sobbed again.

"Already, Sar. They are still kids and there is a chance to change. Roger would be better off without the Princess, as well as the Princess. If they're paired with each other no matter how hard we separate, they'll stick together." Tina tried to calm down.

"Peter has ruined Roger, Tin. He made my good little boy go wild and rough even he dared to hit the Princess I already considered my own son. Tina still rubbed the Princess's hair which was now asleep in her arms. He gave the tissue back to Sari.

"I feel sorry for Roger, Tin." Sari said again.

Slowly Sari closed her eyes looking at the Eagle who was still growling with anger hearing Peter's behavior.

"If I knew Peter would be like this, I'd have him battered the first time he teased you, Sar." The eagle cursed in annoyance.

"Already, Mas. Now we no longer need to think of people who don't care about us. We have to think ahead, how to live this life. Especially you, Sar. You must be strong and independent."

"Yes, Tin. I respect you so much, Tina. You keep me feeling like I have a backstop in this life. But, I'm sorry because I also you have to lose your job."

Tina simply smiled then shook her head and looked at Sari softly.

"Oh well Mas, I remember tomorrow accompany me well Mas took my files in the office." Said Tina spoiled.

"I'm afraid you're doing anything else in the office."

The eagle laughed.

Zaki's phone rang while he was eating.

"Yes, what's the boss?"

"Tomorrow to the Center well, there's a new field job."

"You want it. Is that less beautiful your wife?"

Zaki laughed a little.

"Why the hell are you? That's my own sister. He's got a problem and he's gonna tell you why?"

"Why should he confide in you? I'm a guy, he can confide in me!"

"How would he confide in you if you used to make fun of him at all times? After all he's my brother well comfortable the same story I was your same time!"

"Argh! So many answers! Anyway, tomorrow I don't want to see you talking to each other in the room!"

Zaki just gawked at the annoyance of Dian who immediately rushed into his room and locked the door.

Zaki caught up with him and stood in front of the room door.

"Dian, open the door, baby. I'm sorry."

Dian did not answer.

"Dian, where will I sleep tonight? Time on the couch again, baby?"

Dian still did not answer.

Zaki complained quietly and threw his body on the sofa while turning on the TV.

Peter was still standing in front of Roger's room. The doctor told Roger not to be disturbed because he was recovering. Luckily there were no serious injuries to Roger's face, only a few of the front teeth on his bottom came apart. Peter immediately contacted his acquaintance's Dentist to install dentures when Roger had improved. Her secretary Anita gave a short message that Tina would come to the Office to retrieve her files. Tina's departure may have an impact on some of Peter's Clients to stop their projects if they are not handled by Tina.

"How, Sir? Shouldn't we defend Tina's mother?" Whatsapp Anita's message.

Roger thought for a moment and replied, "Have Mr. Karyo open a Project Manager job vacancy in a few days right away."

"But, Sir? Are we able to get a Project Manager as good as Ms. Tina in these few days?"

"You're my secretary, don't have to ask me a lot of questions and chat. What I command is what you do!" Peter was upset.
