Atha entered his yard with a happy whistle. This afternoon he had fixed the misunderstanding that existed between himself and the Princess. He still remembered the Princess' smile and all the exciting talk while devouring the two bowls of Meatballs. When he saw the phone number on his screen, the Princess' name was attached there. Wanted him to immediately type something yet he still hadn't thought of the right word.
Is it enough to just say Hello?
Atha stopped her whistling when she heard Dian's voice fighting with Zaki. Atha immediately entered the house and found Dian shouting loudly in front of Zaki who was busy watching TV.
"You promised you'd quit that job! Why take it again now! You know Mr. Peter is not a good man! I know he's your brother but he's not as good as you think he is!" Dian held a blue map in her hand.
Zaki just fell silent and did not bully Dian who looked annoyed.
"What's up, brother?" Atha tried to calm down Dian who was trying to regulate her breathing.
"You ask me this! Last afternoon there were two people who followed Brother to this house. Brother finally asked them why they were following, then they just said they wanted to make sure where Zaki lived."
"Who are they? Did they hurt Dian's sister?" Atha asked worriedly.
Dian just shook his head.
"Sister doesn't know either, Tha. But they're like bouncers. The body was large and there was a lion head tattoo on their palm. They just smile with no apparent smile and then walk away after being satisfied to observe the house."
"Mas Zaki can explain who they are?" Atha asked annoyedly seeing Zaki just speechless.
Zaki turned off his TV, "you're too much. Don't worry they're just my cousin Peter's men. I was doing the job he ordered. This will be my last assignment before I move into his office."
"What's the last task? From last month you said that. Where's proof? You're still assigned to the field, call people here and there. You are the Best Bachelor!" Dian snapped again.
"This is Jakarta not Solo! Where I can be well known there, here I'm just like a bum who has a hard time finding work!" Zaki snapped back.
"Sister, don't snap Sister Dian in front of me." Atha said slowly and sharply.
"What's? I'm here alone! I'd like to follow your brother here, but your brother doesn't understand my sacrifice. All he knows and thinks about is himself. If I have a Cousin here, can't I work with him?" Zaki stared intently at Atha.
"You said you sacrificed? I also sacrificed to be here with you!"
"Well, let's go back to Solo! Do you want to?" Challenge Zaki.
"I've got a good job here."
"What job? The job your sister's acquaintance gave you? The guy who seduced you at that office party? What's name?" Zaki ride apitam.
"He has nothing to do with our problems!" Dian was getting upset.
"Sister Dian already, it's better for Sis Dian to go to the room. It's gonna be a cabby debate because you two aren't thinking straight." Atha tried to calm Dian down.
Dian immediately walked into the room away from Zaki. He came out of the room with some clothes and went into Atha's room.
"From today on I sleep in your room, I no longer want to be around him!" Dian slammed the door of Atha's room hard.
"She runs away from your problems like you always do! You have a problem in Solo, you run to Jakarta!" Zaki was still shouting out loud.
"Mas, please stop. Appreciate Sister Dian, let her calm down first." Atha pleaded once again with restraining annoyance.
"Why did you interfere with my problem with Sister Dian?" Zaki approached Atha with a sharp look.
Atha took off her breath in annoyance, slightly cynical as she set her eyes on Zaki.
"He's my brother, I have the right to help him when he's in trouble or there's a problem like this. Mas Zaki better start understanding that." Atha looked back at Zaki sharply.
"What's? You think I'm afraid of you? Because Sis Dian only you can be safe from me, if I don't look at Sis Dian then I've exhausted you for a long time."
Atha just smiled sneered, "thankfully Kak Dian still loves Mas Zaki because otherwise Mas Zaki who is not in this house."
Zaki clenched his fists and growled. Atha looked at him cynically again and prepared to put up defensive horses waiting for Zaki to attack him first. Suddenly Dian opened the door and pulled Atha's hand into the room and closed the door and locked it from the inside.
"Be up in the room! I suspect you guys have any other relationship besides brother sister? Don't-don't you two play behind my back!" Snapping Zaki from the outside.
Atha was about to go outside and punch Zaki in the face but Dian forbade him and asked him to sit on a chair. Atha set her breath to calm down.
"Don't be hanged, that's what he wants."
"You mean Dian?"
"She has been fighting with you for a long time. It's not clear sometimes what he's thinking."
"Well, brother. I'm not afraid of him either." Atha held back his deep regret.
"Sister is not afraid of you being battered but brother is afraid of the battered Mas Zaki really." Dian tried to joke while calming Atha.
Atha smiled hearing that.
"I used to think Kak Dian was lucky to get Mas Zaki, it turns out that the more here I think Mas Zaki who does not know himself if he has got Kak Dian."
"That's it, it's me and him. It will also go down as usual."
"Aren't Sis Dian tired of going back and forth like this?"
"Tha, have you seen Papa Mama we don't fight?"
"In the family, a couple will definitely have time to fight or just fuss about something. That's the usual thing."
"But Mas Zaki was never like Papa. Sis Dian remembered how Papa always apologized and calmed Mama after they fought even though we know sometimes the wrong Mama is not Papa."
Dian nodded, 'Yes Tha anyway."
Atha stood up while snorting.
"Every sister Dian quarrels with Mas Zaki, if I notice always Kak Dian who relented on the day tomorrow. It's not like a balanced relationship, brother. Mas Zaki always blamed Kak Dian for the decision to move to Jakarta and it was always his weapon that he repeatedly said to make Kak Dian feel guilty and cornered."
Dian stared at Atha with a sparkle, as if allowing all the words of Atha.
"Tha, that man has high self-esteem and maybe that's what Mas Zaki is feeling. He just wants to be recognized that our decision to move to Jakarta was the biggest mistake."
"But Kak, he should know that Kak Dian's decision to move to Jakarta was also to save Mas Zaki's face from the words of the big family there. What do they say if they know Maz Zaki is barren?"
"Tha, can't that thing you don't have to reveal anymore?" Dian looked at Atha loudly while begging for pity.
Atha nodded and approached Dian who started sobbing slowly. Atha hugged Dian who leaned her head against Atha's chest while crying.
"He never knew he was barren, Tha. Do not let this truth he knows because it will make Mas Zaki worse. Enough he knows I'm wrong for bringing him to Jakarta."
Atha nodded while still hugging tightly Dian.
"I know why Papa loves Dian so much?"
"Why?"
"Sir Dian is a lot like Papa turns out."
"Why did you say that?"
"Sister Dian and Papa always give up for the best even though maybe others do not understand what you sacrifice to give up for the happiness of others."
"Like Papa always gives in to Mama?" Ask Sister Dian.
Atha nodded slowly.
"You know, my dear brother is just like you. You've always been the best place to confide in."
"Sister is also the best place I can confide too. I love you too, Brother."
"We're compact forever yeah?" Dian looked at Atha gently.
Atha nodded while taking off her embrace.
"I'll just sleep downstairs, Brother up there."
"So remember the childhood? I slept upstairs and you were downstairs and you were scared when a rat passed by in the room. You ran straight up and hugged Brother." Dian seduces Atha.
"Well, how was I afraid of rats?" Atha chuckles in shame.
They laugh together in remembrance of childhood.
Zaki stopped eavesdropping on Dian and Atha's talk. He wiped his tears down slowly. He then chose to get out of the house and bring his motorcycle through the thick of the night.
He stopped at a big tree not far from home and cried under it.
"Why did this happen to me!" He looked at the sky that looked silent.
Zaki was still crying as his phone shook. She hopes Dian looks for her, she immediately picks up the phone and finds Sari's name on the screen. Zaki wiped his tears and raised him with a slight disappointment.
"Well, sister why?"
"Where areyou? Can we meet?"
"I'm on the road again, I'm sorry if this was about yesterday and I'm sorry. I was solemn then, please forgive me, Sister Sari."
"No, Zak. It's about Peter."
"That's why Mas Peter knew about me and Sari?"
"We'll see you at the place yesterday, tomorrow at three in the afternoon I'll wait."
Sari hung up the phone and Zaki slammed her back against the big tree and started pulling her hair in annoyance. Confused and sad haunt him. A little fear began to creep his mind considering the anger he would receive from Peter.
Zaki walked towards the Cafe, where Sari was waiting for him while hoping for anxiety.
"Sister Sari, I'm really sorry about that day. Please help me tell Brother Peter this is a mistake and we're not doing anything." Zaki tried to kneel before Sari.
Sari only smiled slightly looking at the man who had made her fall in love once again in her life.
"Sister Peter doesn't know anything." Sari tried to calm Zaki down.
