CHAPTER 39

"Aaaaaa." I shouted in shock. Maya also screamed. And dor. I pulled the trigger of the firearm I was holding earlier. Turns out my shot hit Galuh's right arm. He sat down and leaned against the wall. He's still not moving. Fresh blood flowed from his arms.

I can't believe it. Maya also remained silent. Illuminated by the flashlight Maya held, I tried to find the spare key that Galuh always put on his pants.

With fear and trembling, I slowly reached into his pants pocket. I set my breath, and still looked towards Galuh's face with her eyes still closed.

However, when my hand had managed to take the key, Galuh's hand gripped my hand. I reflexively fired again my firearm hit his leg.

Galuh screamed in pain. We don't care about Galuh's current situation. Then Maya and I climbed the stairs to open the door with the key I found.

I am so glad I got out of that place. Not to forget, I locked the door again. Apparently, the exit was in plain sight. Just climb a few stairs.

Maya ran and I followed her. However, when Maya was about to open her door handle, we were surprised when Pak Ali was in front of us. Then Mr. Ali pushed Maya so that Maya's body hit mine. Maya can still maintain her balance by holding on to the wood fringe of the stairs.

As for me, I fell backwards and my head hit quite hard on the floor. I saw Maya screaming. My eyes can't open. And slowly everything seemed dark.

I ran here and there in a park. The park is so vast with a wide expanse of various flowers blooming nan fragrant. Many butterflies danced around the roses in front of me. From far away, I saw the figure of Angga. He looks sad. I approached her. Unfortunately, we were blocked by a wide river.

"Dear." call me half yelling. But Angga did not answer me. I was astonished by Angga's attitude today.

"Darling? Are you angry with me?" my many. But Angga just kept quiet.

"You why? You don't miss me?" ask me again. Angga stretched out his hand.

"If you miss me, come here." said Angga.

"Come here. If you don't want to, then you will lose me." Angga said in tears. I look forward to seeing the people I love cry. Slowly, I passed through the rotten wooden bridge. One wrong step, I will fall into the river and be washed away.

"Don't be afraid. There's me. Come on." shouted Angga. With sure steps, I walked down that bridge. And I arrived right in front of Angga.

"I miss you so much" Angga said, kissing my lips.

I opened my eyes. Look closely at the room I currently occupy. I spread my eyes in all directions. All three of my best friends were asleep on a couch, still sitting. Mama, Papa, and Yoga were sound asleep on the sofa next to my bed.

Then I looked towards my heavy left hand. I know whose hair this is. Slowly I let go of my left hand which from somehow when Angga grasped it. Then I stroked my lover's hair.

Slowly the head moved. That handsome face that I miss so much is smiling happy to see me.

"Darling" said Angga, kissing my hand.
