58. Meyer's Struggle

Since that incident Alea's heart became cold towards Bagas and his entire family. Alea was unhappy that it turned out that her mother Bagas was kind to her just because she wanted to make the most of the wealth she had. And wanted to hold himself back from continuing his contract marriage together with Bagas whom he did not love.

Until whenever Alea's heart only belongs to Meyer and can never be replaced by anyone. Meyer's parents never agreed on the relationship.

" I want you to get divorced and cancel our contract marriage agreement. Now, let's go back to Jakarta. Because I want to cancel our wedding" Alea said that morning.

Alea's heart felt pain from the humiliation of her mother Bagas. Alea was no longer tolerant. Alea did not want to be a hypocrite who smiled in front of others, but her heart cried and screamed in pain.

Bagas was shocked to hear Alea's decision to want a divorce between them. Worse than that, Alea wanted to cancel their wedding. And assume it all never existed.

" Why Alea? Didn't you, who was looking for me, want me to be the father of your son? At least until you give birth, right? Then why do you even want our marriage annulled?" tanya Bagas objected to Alea's wishes.

Bagas, however, had fallen in love with Alea and could not afford to lose her.

" I'm sorry Bagas. I changed my mind to continue our contract marriage. I think it's something wrong. I realize, it is not appropriate for us to play a holy marriage for whatever reason. I have decided, I will bear all the consequences of this pregnancy. This is what I and Meyer have done, so I too will be responsible for completing it. I don't want you to have to endure this disgrace!" aela said with tears.

Bagas moved closer to Alea and grasped her palm gently. Thinking of parting ways with Alea, it was really successful to make Bagas craze over it.

" I beg Alea not to do this to me. I really love you. I can't lose you Alea. At least, give me some time to be with you until you give birth in accordance with our agreement I beg Alea," Bagas pleaded with Alea.

Alea whose heart was closed because of anger and also annoyance towards her mother Bagas who had insulted her, Alea no longer cared about what Bagas would say to her.

" I'm sorry Bagas. My decision is round. I really want to cancel our agreement!" said Alea.

Bagas felt so limp his body. Unable to stand up anymore, it was as if his world was shattered instantly right then and there.

" You don't worry. Even though our marriage agreement is off. I will still pay you according to our agreement when I sign the agreement and I will pay you at once. I'll pay you 500 million after we cancel our wedding" Alea said.

" I don't need that money Alea. I just need you to be my wife I want to be the father of your son! I beg Alea, Please don't throw me out of your life Lea, I already love you!" bagas tried to grab Alea's arm, but Alea took it off and moved away from Bagas.

Alea's heart was already determined to end everything and did not want to be in touch with Bagas or his family anymore.

Alea just stared cynically at Pure who finally revealed his true form. After almost a week, always wear a mask of kindness and care for him. Though Alea knew very well that Pure was so insulting in her heart, because Alea was pregnant out of wedlock.

" Silence Mom! You don't have to interfere in my business! I'll settle my business with my own wife. Alea, let's go back to Jakarta now. Don't let us come here again if you feel unappreciated and unwanted." said Bagas who then pulled Alea's palm to come with him into the room and prepared to return to Jakarta.

Alea followed all of Bagas's will because indeed he could not bear to be in that house. Being among the hypocrites was good to him for having the desire to be able to master Alea's possessions.

Alea walked out of the Bagas family home without saying anything. Because he did not want to dirty his heart by hating someone who had only met him for a few days.

Their intention to vacation in Bagas' hometown failed miserably because her mother Bagas insulted Alea as an abominable woman because Alea was pregnant out of wedlock and made Bagas her contract husband only to disguise her status the child in Alea's womb.

" Lear Alea. Why are you so quick to go home, son? Didn't you say you were going on vacation here for a month? It's only been a week since you've been going back to Jakarta anyway? I still miss Bagas Nak. Because all this time he had not returned to Jakarta. Forgive your offending attitude and words, I promise Alea, I will try to improve and make you feel good to be here" said Murni, putting a face of compassion in front of Alea.

Alea tried to spread herself and did not bother much about anything that Pure said.

" I'm sorry Mom. From yesterday my secretary has been in touch with me continuously. Because in the office a lot of work is neglected because I am even relaxing here," said Alea trying his best to be friendly. However Pure is a middle-aged person and deserves to be considered as his mother.

If only Pure loved and cherished Alea sincerely. Surely Alea would be happy to continue her marriage together with Bagas.

But Alea's heart was already sick with Pure contempt. Abstinence for Alea to be insulted by someone. Moreover, the person does not know about her life and also her struggles in maintaining her pregnancy now.

" Bagas. Let Alea go home with her driver to Jakarta. But you're staying here. I still miss you, son!" murni's words began to lose their patience and did not want his son to leave his house immediately just because he wanted to follow Alea who turned out not to be the real wife of Bagas.

Though purely disappointed. But she did not want her son to beg and plead with Alea just so Alea would not divorce her son.

" Go Alea from our house. But don't take my son. Because of us, his real family, we still miss him!" pure said he was getting upset too.

Being nice to someone you don't like is really uncomfortable and that's what Pure is feeling right now.

" No Ma'am! I'll be back with Alea. Alea is pregnant, Mom! I don't want anything to happen to him on the street. She is my responsibility because I am her husband now!" bagas refused his mother's wishes.
