Love Across the Road

Love Across the Road
Poetry for Meliana

At my school, if the break is always played on the school radio. Everyone can ask for his favorite song in play, in return each person paid 2 thousand rupiah to replace the download.

Every break bell I immediately ran to the school radio studio, not to ask for my favorite song to play, instead, I jumped to sit next to Dini, the radio announcer, to recite a poem I made specifically for Meliana.

"Hey, Nar!" he said, Dini is indeed typical of beautiful girls who are good at hanging out with anyone.

"Hey."

"Are you ready to read a poem?"

I laughed hearing that. "Always dong!" I'm giving a thumbs up. "Din, later I read the speaker poem rather in gedein yes let Meliana Denger."

"As long as Meli doesn't bolot anyway, normal volume will also be horrified, Nar."

I laughed while scratching my head.

"Is that his love for her the same Meliana?" ask Dini.

"Yes, yes" I said casually.

"But if I see it anyway, Meliana used to be the same lo. Sorry to say yes, the impression even he does not appreciate lo."

"Belom, now I'm trying to make him appreciate and even grateful for my presence."

"Once I'm Meli, I won't waste anyone as good as you."

"Yes me too" I replied.

Early hit my arm hard. "Udah ah, I want to start."

And start Dini by lovingly greeting her loyal listeners, while I don't care, not so much listening. My mind wandered everywhere, imagining Meliana blushing every day at my poetry.

" ... Now, it is time, we are made to melt by the beautiful poetry of our poet who again kasmaran, Danar Daniarto."

"The volume is gedein" I whispered.

"Yes" said Dini, judes.

"Khm, khm, test... 123."

"Splash start!" Dini glared at me.

I nodded while asking for mercy.

Kasmaran

The wind sounded like the whisper of love.

The question of repetition turns into a rhyme titled love.

The circle looks curved inwards over it, tapered underneath.

How is it a heart shape?

For those who ask why, I'll tell you now.

I am this, I am kasmaran.

After finishing my assignment, I immediately walked out of the radio room to dart into the school cafeteria. But no, my steps stopped in front of the door when there was Meliana who passed with her friends.

"Hi Mel!" my broom.

"What the hell!"

"That's a shame, the man blushed the same way his poetry."

Hearing that my heart grew. Oh my God, Meliana loves my poetry. Now change my blushing turn.

After my meeting with Meliana, I immediately ran towards the cafeteria before the break was up.

"Nad!" The Bonar from the other end waved his hand calling out to me.

"Oi!" I went up to him, sitting next to Bonar, my friend, who was busy eating peanuts in cold clear water. The true form of insertion. It is also a mystery, how can Bonar have a stocky body with a life pattern as closely as it is.

"Beans, Nar," he bargained.

"Every day eat mulu beans, spotty for a long time," I said.

"Yes already, tomorrow I change the menu so I'll just," he said with his distinctive batak dialect.

"Just like!"

"Oh yes, Nar. Your poem was so syahdu. Until the girls melt in this cafeteria."

"Then anyway? You see Meliana's not in this cafeteria either?" many enthusiast.

"Look," he answered no less enthusiastically.

"Where's the reaction?" I'm getting curious.

"Red her cheek." Bonar touched his cheek with a radiant look.

"What time?" I smiled, embarrassed.

"Yes." Yeah." He nodded, my smile growing wider. "But out of anger, on the all-out ledek he's just like his friend."

Fade already smile on my face like powder on the face drenched in rain. If this Bonar isn't my best friend, hit her pretty face right now.

"Continue saying you masang look pretentious if Meliana is angry instead of seneng?"

Bonar scratched his nape while smilingly apologizing.

"Oh love! Why do you always leave your grasp? Never turned to look at the full face of this nestapa. Then one night love answered. Because you're grumpy, ugly, it hurts my eyes to see the full face of your nostapa, poet of love!"

The rest of the cafeteria chuckled at Devan, a friend of Eygra's gang, chanting a ridiculing poem to me. I just kept quiet, nonchalantly responding to him. Let's just say, Devan is famous for having a leaky bucket mouth. It's been his habit of teasing me at every chance to meet.

"Yes, the nuts are dry" said Bonar, trying to ignore Devan's words.

Eygra's gangmates knew that Eygra and I had a fight outside of school. So this is the form of solidarity in defending Eygra, mocking us by way of immoral village. Even so, Eygra never participated in speech when in the school environment, maintaining a good image. Afraid that the chance of the scholarship is lost because of its bad nature.

"Eat first the real, then you dream can dapetin Meliana. Pake sokan make all poetry, first improve your body nutrition!" That's kind of a Devan ledge that always doesn't connect in my opinion. What's the correlation between improved nutrition, Meliana and my poetry?

"Oh like that" I said.

They immediately shut up. It does not take many words to fight them actually, just a simple series of words together with the kalem, is enough to make them ashamed themselves.

"To class, just step back in!" Tumben once Eygra spoke up.
