Lost Princesses

Lost Princesses
Sneaking up

In the glass wall room, Elgan is still waiting by observing the monitor screen. Samantha's body was still stable without the slightest significant change. The illusion given to Samantha does not affect her. Makes him doubt whether he failed to create the illusion of a trigger.

Elgan should be able to see the shape of the illusion and what Samantha would do in the illusion. But, since this time was different from the first one, he couldn't see it.

Elgan approached Sam's physique, rubbing the side of his face that looked calm. It was like being in a beautiful, intoxicating dream.

"It's not supposed to be like this, are you teasing me?" Elgan asked quietly beside her ear.

There was no response from the young girl. His usual deafening angry voice would not come out to answer either. Still trying to find out, his hand stretched out to check the location of the embedded chip.

"If it hurts, yell. Don't confuse me!"

Elgan enveloped the exposed front body with her shirt. Still standing watching, hoping for all the things he expected. He was bare-chested waiting for the sleeping princess who still showed no response whatsoever. If only he could absorb his memories, naturally at this moment he would not be in doubt.

"If you're angry, you can hit me. But, get up quickly. It's been five days, the world needs your help right away!"

Elgan's been in that room for five days. Without a single bit of going out or doing anything other than standing up, take turns watching the screen and the sleeping princess who still looks sound. Elgan herself did not get the least amount of sleep.

Back, he greeted Samantha with a small voice in his ear. Only after a long time did a different expression appear on Samantha's beautiful face. A faint wrinkle that indicates at least some response.

His hands stretched out rubbing the wrinkles on his forehead. Wonder what he is doing in an illusion. Though the illusion was made by Elgan himself, but he was no longer sure because what should have happened did not match what he expected.

On the other hand, the fight was getting fiercer in the vanguard. Archer and Jasper joined the war two days ago. They already have traces of wounds on parts of his body for fighting the mutant led by Rosgard.

"Why don't Elgan and Samantha show up?" jasper asked more of himself.

He was worried that his sister had failed, when he was the only hope he had right now. The situation inside the camp was also full of people who were starting to get scared, angry and in pain. He can live up to now is also something good.

"You won't go to war tomorrow, let's go first!" Charles entered the treatment room where Jasper was treated.

The healers and doctors have been working together all this time. The mutant claw puncture wound embedded in Jasper's stomach has also been healed. But this state of affairs could not last long, as everyone was already exhausted.

"I will still be coming, Dad, because the many who died in the war made the front line already very difficult. How am I gonna keep quiet here!"

Charles nurtured Jasper's back slowly. His entire son was an unyielding warrior, in his old age he was quite happy to see them working together. His life may not be long. But hopefully all his sons will also have the same chance to grow old.

"I'm waiting for Sam, Daddy. Will he succeed?"

"I'll still believe there's hope. So take it easy, your sister can do it!"

Despite never seeing his daughter again, Charles remained convinced that Samantha was the solution Jasper had said at the beginning of his arrival.

Charles came out of the treatment room. He walked through several camps that sometimes heard moans. It's been a few weeks, but there's no sign the war is over.

"I'm looking for you, Dad!" Delwyn approached his father.

"You're going out?" Charles observed the weapon his son was holding.

"I'll join Archer in the observation with the other mutants. I just wanted to tell you not to tell my brother!" Delwyn raised his eyebrows inviting him to compromise.

"Take care of yourself, remember to come back here again any way!" Delwyn nodded and passed away.

Charles lowered his head. Reconnaissance missions look easy, in fact it is more dangerous because it must get closer to the enemy.

"You always carry an arrow, is it better than a bullet?" delwyn asked on the way.

"Well, I'm the best at this!" archer replied short, she felt like she was being with the male version of Samantha.

"Does my brother use it too?" Delwyn still did not stop babbling even though Archer only replied indifferently.

"He's my only student. He clearly didn't lose!"

"Well, she's still a bad girl!" Archer increased the speed of his plane leaving Delwyn still glued to what he said.

They all drive very small aircraft, only for one person. The number participating in the reconnaissance mission was around twenty planes which meant twenty people.

They were already quite close to the enemy territory, so started to do an incognito mode. Their aircraft will not be visible, although it can be detected. But, it took about thirty minutes to be detected by the enemy alarm.

They split into ten parts. Spread out every corner to find out what kind of enemy force and plan. Unfortunately they had restrictions, unable to approach the core part. Because the detectors in that region are even more sophisticated.

Delwyn got off his plane which he landed on the roof of a building. It was seen that there were some mutants standing guard there. He sneaked in looking for information he might be able to get from there.

"Tomorrow, we'll make a simultaneous attack. So get your stamina ready!"

Delwyn sat hiding behind the wall. Not far from him, there was a group of mutants talking. He was talking about the problem they were talking about. From that conversation, he could tell if it seemed like tomorrow would be a long day for all parties.

His body rolled to the side as it seemed that someone knew of his whereabouts. Delwyn had prepared with his weapons if they attacked. He kept moving so as not to be caught by the enemy.

They are very capable and fast. Though Delwyn is also very agile in every movement. They go after each other because Delwyn has been found out.

He was trying to avoid an attack. After all this is their territory, obviously they better understand the structure of the building. He kept running and dodged the attack. There was a mutant who had laser-like abilities in his eyes.

"Damn it, my stomach was almost hollowed out by him!" maki Delwyn continues to increase her running speed.

Delwyn unleashed a toxic smoke bomb to inhibit them. He climbs the stairs and meets another mutant who is ready to fight him. That mutant ability in front of him was an illusion.

He could even see his wife suddenly calling out to him. Then Margaret's cry, her mother also seemed to be very close to her. Until something felt in his stomach. Blood flowed profusely but he was still in an illusion.

Then it was as if a hand had pulled him from the beautiful dream.

"Stupid! You're looking to die!" angry at a mutant who was on the reconnaissance team.

"Ap—," Delwyn realized that his stomach was bleeding and painful.

He saw mutants lying on his lower rungs. It was fortunate that his friend had saved from the snare of the goddamn mutant, which made him really miss his wife now.

"Good thing you came, or I'm gonna kill him!" he said arrogantly making his mutant partner was upset.

"You're! Come on, we'll be left behind team!" His mutant partner petrified himself to walk towards his plane.

It was invisible, but he could sense his sensor as it was connected to the chip in his hand. The two of them had already darted away from the area of the building. Right now maybe Rosgard's men are preparing to hunt them down.

Several shots were fired at the second plane. They just had to avoid the fight so as not to trigger the others. The two planes were trying to reach the outer limits of the enemy camp. The rain of gunfire made their plane run into trouble.

"You go, I'll lure them the other way!" Audio sounds directed at Delwyn.

"I'm not leaving you! I did it!"

Delwyn will turn the plane when his mutant partner has already turned in a different direction.

"Damn!" Delwyn was very upset to take his plane out of enemy territory.

"Where's your partner?" archer asked via audio, all waiting ahead there.

Delwyn did not reply, but with just that silence, everyone knew his point. They lost five people on the team. Hopefully the information they get is worth the struggle of the fallen colleagues.
