Liver Flakes

Liver Flakes
The Bright Morning 2

Silence enveloped two people who were on the motorbike. After the events of that time, Shanum somehow reluctantly wrapped his hands around her husband's waist. Undeniably, although it was still vague and it might just be a misunderstanding, Shanum felt awkward to be near the man.

Many times Raka glanced, the wife's gaze looked empty and distant. The lips that had been smiling, were now tightly clenched. Jealousy was still in his heart, rather than the anxiety and uneasiness that had recently invaded.

"Eh? Why are we stopping here?" Shanum was shocked when the motor suddenly stopped by the side of the road.

Without Raka commanding, Shanum went down and looked at her husband.

"Why stop here? Not going home?" shanum asked with a frown.

Raka shook her head, both of her hands were so tightly gripping the motor handlebar withstanding all the turmoil in her heart.

"Raka!" Shanum touches her husband's shoulder, but Raka stops him asking to be released.

Shanum pulled his hand slowly, clenched it then. He sighed, Raka still could not speak.

"What is your relationship with that man?" Raka fizzed from behind her draped teeth.

"Who? Brother Dzaky? We have nothing to do" Shanum said calmly. There has been no relationship since he got married. Dzaky and Shanum both kept their distance and were aware of their restrictions.

"Lied!" Raka turned her head, looking at Shanum with reddened eyes. The rhythm of the breath that rises and falls heavily, indicates that his heart is turbulent.

"liying? Why do you think I'm lying?" Shanum smiled bitterly, there was no lie he did.

"You have nothing to do with him, why is he in your mother's house with that old man? Are you planning a wedding with him?" sentak Raka charged at Shanum with cruelty.

Shanum shook his head, staring at Raka's bead boldly. His smile rose slowly, there was jealousy visible in both eyes.

"You know who the old man is? They look and mbah me who just came from Java. I went to the house eyang all this time because it's the only place that not many people know," Shanum explained still with his calm attitude.

Raka snorted, not believing Shanum's story. She is jealous, and Shanum may be seeking revenge against her.

"You think I believe? I know who he is, Shanum? She's your girlfriend, isn't she? He also still ngarepin you make his wife. Maybe you are too." He glared, turned away while shaking his lips.

Shanum sighed, shaking his head.

"Your accusation is not true, Raka. I love him and wish I were his wife. Mama Sama Papah also knows, but that was before I married you. Now, we're nobody. Brother Dzaky also knows the limits, he never even touched me before, especially now. Different from Shila who dared to hug you when she knew you already have a wife," said Shanum still with his attitude as calm as water.

Raka was inflamed, looking at Shanum with guts.

"Don't bring Shila over to cover up your behavior"

"So then, can you take Dzaky's brother and accuse us of not covering up everything you've done?" Shanum folded both hands in the stomach, staring boldly at the husband while smiling obliquely.

Raka was getting more turbulent, getting off the bike and facing Shanum in close range.

"What am I doing? What's?" challenge Raka to move forward and get closer to Shanum's body.

"We're talking all this at home, not here." Shanum asks Raka's understanding, speaking from the heart.

"No! I don't want to go home before everything is clear" Raka refused stubbornly.

Shanum again sighed, reducing the sense of tightness that undermined the soul.

"What do you want to know again? I'm all clear, nothing is closed. What's again? You should be the one to explain why Shila can hug you in a public place without being shameless?" shanum's reply began to show some annoyance.

His body, tired of having just traveled a long journey, had to face the selfishness and violence of Raka's head as well. He just wanted to rest, talk well, sit together, without mutual emotions.

"No need to talk about Shila, who I asked why she could be in your mama's house?" hardik Raka pointed at the road they had just passed.

Shanum closed his eyes, a sense of dizziness immediately attacked the head making him unable to think clearly.

"You want to know? We accidentally met when he was doing research. Coincidentally eyang and Mbah could not get on the plane, that's what we hitchhiked in his car and this just came. I'm tired, Ka. East Java trip to Jakarta is not a moment. I just want to rest, I want to talk to you all right. No emotions!" said Shanum, looking disappointed at the figure of the husband in front of him.

"Reason!" Raka grunts.

Shanum let out a rough breath, lazy to serve her husband.

"Yes already. You may not be able to think clearly right now. Then you go home alone. I'm going back to Mom's house, I'm going to rest. Later if you can think, we say again," Shanum broke up disappointed.

She stared at Raka's face for a while, before turning around and walking back towards her parents' house.

"I know you just want to meet that guy, right? You want to stay with him for a long time!" yelled Raka frustrated.

Shanum stopped his steps, tired of soul and body clearly visible in the look of his beautiful face.

"Whatever! For now, I just want to rest. I'm tired!" he said, turning back and continuing the steps to leave Raka who was holding back the emotional turmoil in the heart.

"Remember, Shanum! You are my wife! You don't deserve to be close to other men!" Raka shouted back.

"You're my husband, too, but you don't know the limits. Secretly behind me you're in a relationship with Shila." Shanum replied in a voice that only he could hear himself. There is bitter in the heart, if not for the fetus in the stomach will not he come to Raka again after what he did.

Again he took a long breath he did, for now do not want to care about Raka who is selfish and stubborn. Shanum waved as an ojek flashed nearby.

"Damn it!" Raka punched her motorcycle, kicked it, and banging the seat evoked emotion.

"Look, I won't stay silent. I must have done the same calculation for that man. Because of him, Shanum went and stayed away. Argha! Goddamnit!" Raka roared again before riding the bike and turned after Shanum.

"Shanum can't go back to your house, what will they say if Shanum comes again? I could be wronged too!" Raka clucked irritably, she forgot her parents' threat. After all, he should be able to catch up with Shanum and prevent him from returning home.

However, on the way, Raka crosses paths with Dzaky's car. The two stared at each other, emitting flames of hostility. Raka stopped his bike, and went down to catch up with Dzaky. Unfortunately, the young man's car kept on driving away from Raka.

"Coward!"
