Chapter 85 What happened to Mary?

Alex is still not awake, even though the critical moment has passed. Jessi will go back and forth to ensure the condition of the two men.

After feeling satisfied, Chester got up from his bed. He picked up his phone which was located inside his pants pocket.

Chester opened his phone and appeared on the screen smiling Jennixia's face.

“I miss you,” Chester said softly and then kissed a photo of Jennixia on his phone screen.

Chester checked several incoming notifications and one was a message from Luis.

“Master, sorry but we lost track of Sean and Arviy. After we got to the last place of their position, they were gone.” That's the message from Luis.

“Ck, don't expect you to miss!” chester said coldly.

Chester walked out of the room and headed toward Alex's room. He entered the room without knocking.

It appears that the mother has fallen asleep sitting next to Alex's banker while holding Alex's hand. Chester's approaching Jessi.

“Mother,” call her to Jessi.

Jessi wakes up to Chester's touch on her shoulder. He looked towards Chester.

“You're no longer dizzy nak?” ask Jessi.

“Not Ma'am, hmm it's good Mom rest first. Looks like Mom looks really sleepy,” Chester said with a slight smile.

“Yes you're right, I'll rest on the couch just so I can hear if Alex has regained consciousness.

Chester looked towards the sofa that looked small and narrow.

“But the place is narrow. I rest in the next room only yes, Alex let his men keep watch. I don't worry Alex is fine,” Chester said as he helped Jessi stand up.

Jessi was forced to obey Chester's words, she did not want to make her son-in-law worry about her. Jessi is now in the restroom next to Alex's room.

There were actually many questions he wanted to ask Chester. But Jessi felt she had not found the right time.

Jessi looked up at the sky. His mind is raging.

“If he's a true mafia like Alex, how will Jennixia be. Do I have to separate them again,” Jessi said.

Jessi looks back on her past. Her tears flowed uninvited as past events still imprinted her.

Chester directed some of Alex's men and his men to tighten the surveillance in front of Alex's room and Jessi's room. Because Sean and Arviy are still free out there.

Chester was in a car driven by Edward. They'll head to the base to meet the mob leaders who were captured.

Throughout the trip Chester tried to contact Nera and May but no one picked up their cell phone.

Chester's hunch began to feel bad especially Nera and Mei had made a call to her number. There was not one of their calls that he had answered because at that time Chester was rested.

“Ed let's see Mama first, my hunch is really bad,” Chester told Edward.

“Good Sir,” sahut Edward.

Now their car is heading in a different direction. Chester's going to the hospital where Mary is.

Chester tried to make a call to Luis to tell him he had to see Mary first. Before turning off the call Chester had asked Luis.

[“Luis, did Nera or May have your phone early this morning?”] ask Chester.

[“There is a Master but I did not have time to answer because it was at the location of Sean and Arviy. I've called again but no answer at all,”] Luis said from across the street.

[“Well you continue your work,”] Chester said and turned off his phone.

‘Hopefully nothing happened,’ inner Chester while making a call to one of his men who was keeping watch on where Mary was.

[“Hallo Tuan?”] said his men from across there.

[“Where are you? Is Mama okay? Didn't happen anything?”] questions burst out of Chester's mouth.

[“Good, tell Nera and May. I'm on my way,”] said Chester sighing in relief.

‘Why do Mama keep looking for Jenni, especially what Mama wants to do to Jenni, cih don't tell me Mama also wants to blame Jenni. Oh no-no I won't let Jenni get hurt again. Enough has been all this time I made him suffer huhh,’ inner Chester.

Chester was determined not to bring Jennixia and Mary together. He doesn't want Jennixia to go away from him again and he doesn't make the mistakes he's made again repeated.

“How can your phone Mama take?” chester asked in an intimidating tone.

“Sorry Sir, Miss Mary insisted on calling Miss. Mei and I were forced to follow her wishes and we gave her our phone,” Nera replied.

“Give it to Nera, all she'll take care of,” Chester said and entered Mary's room.

Chester saw Mary still asleep. Mary's condition improved but her legs could not be moved in the slightest.

“I have to find Mama a private nurse to take care of her,” Chester said.
