Chapter 69 Targeting Jennixia

“Nata! Dear nata!”call Alex in a panic.

Renata heard her husband's voice calling her straight to the living room of their house.

“Abang, why do you look panicked?” ask Renata after arriving at the living room.

“Later explain, now you change we will come out,” replied Alex who still looks panicked.

“Alright,” Renata is still staring at her confused husband. Perhaps there was something important that made Alex look so panicked that was Renata's thought before stepping towards the stairs connected to the second floor where their room was.

Renata nodded and quickened his pace.

They were in the car and headed to the mall. Alex has told Renata everything, he knows it's a little dangerous but he has to be able to trick the eyes of the person who's after Jennixia.

Alex and Renata enter the large mall via a parking elevator that leads into the mall.

Only his men who enter through the main door of the mall. They are assigned to look at the second member of the mafia who is targeting Jennixia.

Alex put on a mask so no one would recognize him. As they pass by a Renata clothing store, they catch Jennixia inside.

“Abang is Jenni,” said Renata softly while pointing towards Jennixia.

Alex followed Renata's hand and sure enough he could also see Jennixia was picking some clothes.

“Honey we're in, you look around. Let me take him to the back of the store a quiet place,” said Alex.

His eyes kept circling the surroundings, and he caught several men walking towards the clothing store.

Renarta clenched her hand without being noticed by the man. He tried to hold back his emotions and anger.

Renata saw the man calling his friends and exited the store towards the direction he had pointed.

“You make sure they don't enter this place again, if they come back here quickly call me,” Renata orders on her bodyguards.

After her bodyguard leaves, Renata rushes to the back of the store to meet Alex and Jennixia.

After she walked into the back of the store, Renata immediately hugged Jennixia tightly, then let go.

“You okay Jenni?” asked Renata to look at Jennixia just shut up and stand stiff.

“Not a woman back then?” instead of answering Jennixia instead asked back because she still remembered the woman who was in front of her.

Renata smiled and pulled Jennixia's hand.

“I'm sorry,”lucap Renata softly with a sad look.

Alex answered a call from his bodyguard.

“I'll call Chester,” said Jennixia then ditch her phone.

Jennixia herself did not expect Alex to suddenly want to protect her. His heart warms but when he remembers the incident his heart again feels sore.
