Causes of War

"Can you keep a secret?" Ask Hatice. "Yes! We promise we won't divulge this secret." Galib said, "yes, we promise." Salih and Ayese. "A city is located across from this city. Compared to this city, it was much better. The light of Islam illuminates the city. When the time of prayer arrived, the voice of the Adhan sounded simple. The country was led by an elected hakan shah through the approval of the council of hocas and emirs. My father was one of the shawls. He was appointed by his previous uncle, Celaleddin Shah. Then my father was martyred in a great battle. He intended that his throne be taken by my uncle, Hikmet and Hikmet Shah to appoint my brother as the emir of kumandan. He is now in the palace taking care of the military affairs of the country." Hatice. "If your father was a respected shawl, why do you live here?" Ask Galib. Hatice was silent for a moment and said, "I don't think you two need to know. Can it be only between me and Ayese who knows about it? Please." Salih and Galib nodded. "All right! We're going out looking for work. Ayes, don't worry! We'll finance you." Galib. Salih and Galib came out.

The two young men came out of the room and put on their shoes. Then to the front door. Suddenly someone called them "hey, son! Where are you guys going?" It turned out that the person was the front desk guard. "We're looking for a job. What's up?" Salih. "You must write your statement of departure on the table and each of you will be given a stone carving so that I can know that you are the inhabitants of this place when you return. Please!" Said the front desk guard. Salih and Galib took a pen and wrote the terms. A document that contains empty columns for name, destination go and more. After that they each picked up a stone engraved with something and they put it in a pouch. Then they came out.

Meanwhile Hatice and Ayes are still chatting. A few moments later Sahin and Silahdar appeared carrying some wooden crates and then bailed on Hatice. "Where else are you going to sell these things?" Ask Hatice. "We just drove him to the dock, abla. As usual. We're leaving first huh, Hail Aleykum!" Shahin. "Greetings Aleykum, be careful!" Hatice. The two red-sacred children left.

"Hatice, how did you get here?" Ask Ayese. "Please keep this between the two of us a secret." Hatice. "All right, I promise I'll keep this a secret. Say it!" Ayese. "It all started last year, on my uncle's birthday celebration. Many people watched the show. I came to the show. Not meant to be arrogant but in fact, a lot of guys are fascinated to see my face." Said Hatice while looking down embarrassed. "When I was reading a book in front of my house, a man came with a rose. Then he said 'your face is so pretty.I love you. Will you marry me' it's a very embarrassing moment in my life." Hatice. Ayese smiled and asked "Then, what did you tell her?" Hatice continued her story "then I told her 'sorry, I have to consider a lot of things. And I have no feelings for you other than respect. We've never met before anyway.I'm sorry.' then the guy left disappointed. A few days later, I heard that the man was hanging himself. I was shocked, of course." Ayse just shut up. "There's another story that makes me sad." Hatice

Hatice walked to the market to buy groceries. Suddenly he saw three horsemen racing his horse. One of them accidentally almost hit an old man. Then the guy came down. "I'm sorry, Efendi! We are less careful. I'm sorry!" Tell that guy. The old man said "No, son! I should have been more careful. Because I know you are kaptan and you must do your duty quickly. Continue your duties!" The three men also left. Hatice saw it from a distance. Hatice saw the moment the man came down and apologized, the man unfolded his face.

Hatice returned from the market to her house not far from the palace. Later that night, Hasan comes to see his sister, Hatice. "Greetings Aleykum!" "Aleykum hail! Abi's? You're home yet?" Hatice was surprised to see her ashes coming home. "Where is Shahin and Silahdar?" Hasan asked Hatice. "They'll be back tomorrow. They're staying at the pier. Where's your wife, Zeynep?" Hatice. "He's at the palace. I'm saying good-bye to my wife to see you." Answer Hasan. "Pig! Please eat! I was about to drive him to the palace." Hatice. "All right, let's eat!" Hasan. They also eat together. Hasan saw his brother slightly pale in the face. "Hatiya! Are you all right? Are you sick?" Ask Hasan. Hatice simply smiled "No, Abi!" "Then why is your face a little pale?" Hasan asked back. Hatice just looked down. "It looks like you just met a handsome guy. Really true?" Hasan asked with a smile. Hatice just smiled shyly. "Yes, Abi! I saw a very handsome captain riding a horse in the market earlier with his two bodyguards. But I don't know if he's married or not." Hasan scrunched his eyebrows. "To my knowledge there was only one kaptan who had been riding horses in the market. His name is Celal Kaptan. Is his face covered with blue turban?" Ask Hasan. Hatice nodded "the color of her horse is white, Abi!" Hasan was holding his chin. "It's true he's Celal. Martyallah! My sister seems ready to get married." Hatice was just embarrassed. They continued their dinner.

After they finished eating, Hasan took his sister to the palace and entered his room. When Hatice came in, she saw a chair and a table and there were two chairs for guests and a small table for dishes."Wait here, I'll be back." He said to Hatice. Hatice simply nodded then sat down in the guest chair.

Meanwhile, Hasan Emir headed for a room where the captains studied and discussed. They did some work on the theory of war. Then Hasan Emir entered "Salam Aleykum para Kaptan!" Everyone inside turned to the door and stood up to find out that the Emir Kumandan was coming. "Greetings Aleykum, Kumandan!" Answer the captains. "Are you guys working on military theory?" "True, kumandan" they answered in unison. "Sit down, Captain! Continue with your duties. I'm here to call Celal Kaptan." Hasan. The man named Celal stood up and said, "Ready, Kumandan! Can I help you?" "Are you busy, Celal?" Ask Hasan. Then Celal replies "no, Kumandan! I'm just reading a book I can read next time."  Hasan nodded then said "come with me, Celal Kaptan!" Hasan and Celal walked down the palace hall to Hasan Emir's room.

Hasan and Celal walked slowly. Hasan smiled and said "walk beside me, Celal. I want to speak to you not as your boss but as a comrade." Celal smiled and walked beside Hasan. "Celal, I hear you're about to be named Albay. Is that true?" Ask Hasan. "Yes, Emir!" Answer Celal. Hasan nodded. "Every newly graduated captain always gets a gift from his family. I heard that your family is left now only your little niece and lives in Madrasa founded by Yusuf Hoca." Hasan. "Yes, Emir! Then on my graduation day, you came to give me a sword gift that I was comfortable enough to use. Thank God the sword is still there today." Celal. "Therefore, I would like to reward you for your achievement of becoming Albay at a young age." Hasan. Celal stopped walking out of curiosity and asked "if you may know, what is the gift, Emir?" Hasan stopped and asked, "are you married?" "Not yet." Answer Celal. "Are you engaged?" Ask Hasan back. "Not yet, Emir!" "Therefore I would like to introduce my sister to you. If you want you'll marry my sister." Hasan. "Emir, haven't many proposed to your sister? I thought your sister was married." Celal. "The proposal's all rejected, Celal. Have you seen his face?" "Numbered, Emir. But I heard your sister is beautiful. Ee... Where are we going, Emir?" Ask Celal. "To my room. Follow me!" Hasan. They both walked towards Hasan Emir's room.

After passing through several passages they finally arrived. Hasan opened the door of his room and entered followed by Celal. Hatice who was sitting turned her head then was shocked when she saw Celal. It turned out that Celal was indeed the person he had seen in the market. "Celal sit down!" Hasan. Celal sat in the guest chair opposite Hatice. They were limited by a small table. Hasan sat at his desk while Hatice looked down embarrassed. So did Celal who looked down embarrassed. Even Celal did not know that in front of him was Hatice. Hasan started to speak "Alright! Hatice, is this the guy you saw at the market?" "Yes, Abi." Answer Hatice. "Celal, this is my sister. If you want, I'll give you time to get to know each other." Hasan. The silent atmosphere for a moment. "Well, I'll give you both time to get to know each other." Hasan. He stood up and left the room.

Hasan was sitting in an outdoor chair not far from his room. Then came Selim Emir, emir of the foreign affairs section of the country. "Emir Kumandan, what are you doing here at night?" Ask. "Find some fresh air, Emir." Jawan. Selim Emir just laughed "Alright, it's up to you. Excuse me first." Selim Emir. "Please!" Hasan Emir replied with a smile.

Meanwhile in Hasan's room, the atmosphere was still quiet. Hatice and Celal both looked down embarrassed. Hatice occasionally glanced at Celal. "Last noon at the market, I saw you riding and almost bumped into old man. Then you go downstairs and apologize to her. Looks like you're a good man." Tell Hatice to Celal. "You also seem like a good girl, huh. I saw you handing out bread to a little boy while he was at the edge of the market." Celal. "Ah, no! You must be the wrong guy. It might be someone else you saw." Hatice said ashamedly. "No, shush. The 'boots' shoes you wear are exactly like the girl I saw." Celal said smiling. "If it's not wrong you memorize the Quran. Is that true?" Ask Hatice. "No. Not everything. There are seven more letters." Answer Celal. "Celal, honestly I love you from the beginning I saw your good looks. You also seem like a good man." Hatice said shyly. "Is that so? Thank you, hatun." Celal. Hatice.

Hatice opened the veil covering her face and then opened the hijab over her and showed her face. Celal glanced at Hatice as he looked at her face. He was silent for a moment and gulped. His gaze was fixed on Hatice for a moment. Then he spoke to Hasan Emir in Arabic "My Emir, your sister is very beautiful. I want to propose to your sister to be my fiancee." Hasan smiled. "I accepted your proposal, Celal." Hasan replied in Arabic.

Hatice was crying happily. "Hatun, are you okay?" Ask Celal. "Celal Kaptan, actually Hatice understands Arabic. I'm sure he's happy after I accept your proposal." Hasan. Celal is shocked because he did not think that Hatice could speak Arabic. "Celal, continue with your work! Come back here tomorrow so you can get to know each other better. Also to talk about dowry." Hasan told Celal. "Okay, my Emir Kumandan!" Reply Celal. Then Celal bowed and returned to the court of the captains.

Celal opened the door. Then he said a greeting and entered the room of the captains. The captains answered his greetings. One of the captains asked, "It seems you are very happy. What's up Celal Kaptan? What are you talking about with Kumandan." Celal smiled and sat down in his place. "I'm getting married." Answer Celal. Everyone smiled and congratulated him.

The next day, Celal came to Hasan Emir's room. Then, Hasan Emir gave him the address of a tavern. Hatice was waiting there. Celal drove his horse towards the tavern with joy and excitement.

Hatice and her two bodyguards were already waiting at the tavern. Suddenly, they heard gunshots coming from inside the shop. Hatice pulled out her gun and was about to come out to see what happened. His guard prevents "Don't, my Shit! Dangerous." His word. Hatice said, "I know. Let's look together." Hatice and her two bodyguards went to the location. He saw from a distance there was a crowd of several City guard soldiers. When Hatice and her bodyguards arrived, one of Hatice's bodyguards asked one of the guards "What happened, man?" All the soldiers who swarmed around looked sad and just silent.  Finally, the two Hatice guards approached. They were also shocked to find out what had happened. Then one of Hatice's bodyguards came back to Hatice, who was just watching from a distance. "My wife, Celal Kaptan." the man said stammer. Hatice scrunched her eyebrows. "Celal Kaptan was shot dead." Further. Hatice began to shed tears and she approached the body of her fiance. Then crying mourned him. A lot of people came and wondered. Then a soldier said. "I saw this man riding and then he shot him" pointing at the body not far from Celal's body. "Then when I was about to shoot that guy, my partner Osman shot him first. Osman approached this man and was surprised to find out that this man was Celal Kaptan. He ran to call the doctor. But too late, Celal Kaptan is dead." Continue the soldier. Hatice listened while crying.

Hatice approaches the body of Celal's killer. Then he was surprised that the man was one of Rafney's men who proposed to Hatice but was rejected. Hatice is saddened and confused when she learns that news of Celal's death is widespread. He thought that Celal died because of love. In fact, people actually consider the murder in because Celal is a very young officer. Hatice, however, remained concerned that this would lead to war.

As Hatice returns to the palace, Hasan Emir tells her that Celal's killer is Rafney, who had previously proposed to Hatice. Hasan simply said "we will investigate the case further, my brother!" The next day, the Emirs were called by Hikmet Shah to hold a meeting.

As the meeting was going on, there was a knock on the door. "Lake in!" Hikmet Shah. Then the receptionist came and said, "My God, Rafney's emissary is coming and is going to meet you. He said there was an important matter, my Hakan Shah "Hikmet has been silent for a moment. Then he said "Selim Emir, please take care of the problem!" Selim Emir bowed respectfully and said "Well, hakan shah me." Then Selim Emir came out. Outside, he meets a Rafney envoy. "Is there a problem?" Ask Selim Emir to her. "Yes, of course Emir!" answer the messenger. "From my room! We'll talk about that." Bring Selim Emir. But the man refused "Sorry, Emir! I have to talk about this matter to your Shah." Selim Emir said "Had Shah was busy and could not be disturbed. I, as the Emir of foreign affairs, have the right to discuss the matter of your King. Let's leave my room" the envoy nodded and followed Selim Emir to his room.

Selim Emir entered his room and allowed the envoy to sit down. Then Selim Emir said "i'll brew tea first." The envoy knitted his brows "Sorry, Emir! We need to talk soon." Selim Emir just smiled. "The aroma of tea will make me calmer so that the decision I will make will be more appropriate" Selim Emir said. Then he brought two glasses of tea water. One he put on the guest table and the other he held. Then he sat in his chair. "All right, let's get started. Tell me why you came here!" Selim Emir. "Roland Efendi, the citizen of Rafney was killed by the soldier Luckin in the land of Luckin." Said the envoy. Selim Emir just smiled and said "Efendi, our soldiers shot your people who killed our officers. So, is that wrong?" The messenger breathed. "Our king took this seriously. Your soldiers could have caused a war between us, Emir!" Said the envoy. "Drink that tea! It'll make us calmer." Selim Emir. The messenger took a glass of tea on the table and drank it. "So, what do you want to say?" Selim Emir. "His Majesty King Raymond demands that your country apologize for what your soldiers did and punish your soldiers." Said the envoy. Selim Emir just scrunched his eyebrows. "So you're taking this seriously? Know, you've been meddling in little trouble Luckin! Any emir even my Shah will not accept your king's demands." Said. The envoy replied "then you have declared war on us." "We are not afraid! We still stand firm after 15 battles." Selim Emir. "Then, this will be your last battle." Answer the messenger. They finally made a declaration of war. "War starts tomorrow at eight exactly. Agreed?" Ask Selim Emir. The envoy nodded in agreement. After that, they exchanged letters that they wrote to sign.

Selim Emir and the envoy mutually agreed to the two letters written. The messenger reached out to shake hands. Selim Emir just stood up straight and glanced at the hand of the envoy. "We just declared war. Don't give your hand in an empty state! Now go back and deliver this letter to your king!" Selim Emir. The messenger came out. Selim Emir returned to the Shah's room moments later.

Hatice began to shed her tears in front of Ayse. "The war took a lot of casualties, Ayse. Even many officers were killed. I'm the one who caused that war." He told Ayse. Ayese felt pity. "Relax, Hatice! Everyone only knows that the war was caused by the death of Celal Kaptan." Ayese. "Well, how will I be responsible in the afterlife?" Ayese only fell silent after Hatice said so. "Hatice, if you allow me, may I see your face? I became curious after hearing your story." Hatice lifted her veil slowly. Ayes saw him amazed. "Well, I guess. Your face is so pretty. I'm so jealous of you, Hatice." Hatice smiles. Then he said, "but Ayese, this is a test for me." Hatice closed the veil back. Ayese just nodded.

Meanwhile, Salih and Galib were still touring the city. They were very impressed with the size of the city. "Shy! I think our skills are different. It would be nice if we split up and look for our jobs according to each other's expertise." Galib. Salih just nodded. They finally shook hands and separated.

Galib walked through the market. In the market, a lot of people sell starting from cloth, food and others. Suddenly, someone called Galib. Galib approached hoping that there would be work for him. "What are you doing, son?" Ask that guy. "Walk, Efendi. All looking for work. Do you have a job I can do?" Galib asked back.  "She, son. That's why I called you. I'm looking for an assistant to help me with my research." Tell that guy. Galib smiled "it looks interesting. Of course I'm willing to be your assistant if you want to." His word. "From your appearance, it seems like you are a Muslim" said the man. Galib nodded "right, Efendi. Alhamdu Lillah, I was born into a Muslim family and a Muslim neighborhood." Reply Galib. "Alhamdulillah. By the way, what's your name, son?" Ask that guy. "Galib, my Efendi. Son of Muhsin, Galib Mehmed." Reply Galib. "Now you return to your place, Galib Efendi. After ashar you went to this address." The man gave me a piece of paper. Galib looked at it for a while and put it in his pocket. "If I may know what your name is, Efendi?" Ask Galib. "My name is Ahmed Fendir. Call it Fendir Efendi or Fendir Bey." Tell that person. "Alright Bey! I'm going to this address after Ashar's prayer." Galib. They shook hands as Galib walked towards his dorm.
