38. Wednesday Night at Cafe Blume

Tonight Ran is meeting with some of his staff regarding the planned opening of Curtis Man and Curtis Lady outlets in several newly built shopping centers in the jabodetabek region. They are now in the meeting room on the second floor of Blume's cafe. Lily is waiting in Ran's study.

Cafe Blume is one of the favorite cafes to hang out in South Jakarta. Not only young people, but many parents become customers. In addition to the comfortable place, an interesting menu with a taste that has no doubt of its quality, there are also live music performances on every Wednesday night and Saturday night. This live music has only been around since the cafe was managed by Ran. And this is proven to increase the popularity and income of the cafe.

It's Wednesday night. There's live music tonight. Lily came out of Ran's room and looked down. The atmosphere below is quite crowded. Half of the available tables are filled.

"Order whatever you like. All free, I have info to the staff here. Fun have!!" Ran and his staff came out of the meeting room and invited the staff to go down to the table he had ordered for them. The staff seemed happy. One of them has Jamie. Jamie will be assigned to the Tangerang area this time. Jamie looked awkwardly at Lily, as she now knew that her boss' wife was Wini's best friend. Lily was acting ordinary. Smile at Jamie. Because the problems between Jamie and Wini are their personal business. After all, they have resolved their problems well.

"Have your friends come, Jamie? you said you wanted to meet your friend here" Ran asked Jamie.

"A little while back. He just told me" Jamie replied.

"OK, Ran sir and Lily's mom. I went down first" Jamie said.

"Please.." Lily and Ran said together.

"How come you're bored in the room, baby?" Ran approached Lily.

"not bored. I wanted to see her live music performance. But it hasn't started yet" Lily replied.

"In a moment, eight o'clock starts. That's why I finished the meeting before eight. So that we can all enjoy the live music performance" said Ran.

"Come, we're going down. I've reserved a table for us" Ran took Lily's arm.

They were sitting in Lily's favorite chair, at the table by the window.

"Does Ran's sister know that Jamie is Wini's ex-husband?" ask Lily.

"oh yeah?" asked Ran surprised. He looked towards Jamie who was busy answering the phone at his desk. Jamie did not join his other friends. Because he had an appointment with his friend.

"Papa and I were unwilling to get involved with the personal lives of workers outside of working hours. As long as they don't tarnish the company's good name. But based on what I've seen so far, Jamie is indeed the type of man who likes to be railed. Go to clubs, drink alcohol and hang out freely with women. It doesn't really fit in with the quiet Wini" Ran said softly in Lily's ears.

"They used to be betrothed by their parents. But Jamie has always been rude to Wini and he is secretly married to his current wife. Finally Wini could not stand it, finally sued Jamie divorce. Because they don't love each other" Lily explained.

"Very unfortunate. Marriage is done by force" murmured Ran.

"Hopefully the two of them will soon find their true soul mates" Lily said.

"I wish Wini was a match with bang Rico" Lily said in her heart. He thinks Rico and Wini like each other. And Lily is confident that bang Rico will take very good care of Wini.

"Darling, look at Jamie's friend. Isn't that Rakha?" Ran directed his gaze at Jamie's desk. Jamie was shaking hands with Rakha who had just arrived.

"Yes, right. That's Rakha" Lily replied.

"It turns out they know each other" Ran whispered to Lily.

"Just leave it as long as it doesn't bother us" Ran continued to calm Lily. Lily nodded

"Let's enjoy our dinner, baby" Ran ordered the salmon for the two of them. Along with potato chips and green vegetables served on their plates.

"Mmmhhh. I like it" Lily said softly after she finished swallowing her food.

They did not know that Rakha was watching them with jealousy. Rakha did not expect that would see them here.

Rakha knows, Lily really likes the food in this cafe. This cafe is right next to the office where Lily used to work. She often meets Lily here if she has lunch together, or is waiting for Lily to come home from work

"That's my boss with his wife. They're very compatible" Jamie tells Rakha. When she saw Rakha staring at Ran and Lily without blinking. Rakha's heart feels hot.

"Over time, if you choose a woman, I'll choose a sexy one like Angel. But looking at my boss's wife, I was kind of made aware that the ideal woman to be a good wife is that. Speak politely and gently to her husband, who gives peace of heart and cools his head while with her. On condition that we as men should be good too. Have to take care of their wives and love them sincerely" Jamie said. He remembered Wini. His ex-wife was quiet and not much of a whim. Always be kind and sincere to her even though she was very bad at treating Wini.

"Bossku is about our age. But he's very authoritative. Very rich people. But he never ranted. Not arrogant. His life is very regular and normal. His wife, too, had been rich since birth. But his attitude is very simple. I admire them so much" Jamie's words made Rakha feel ashamed.

"Good night everyone.Hopefully everyone here is in good health and happy yaa" the voice of women using microphones. Live music is about to begin. Sarah Dea is a singer who used to perform at Blume's cafe.

"Like Mr. Ran Curtis and Ms. Lily, newlyweds who are certainly always happy" Sarah spoke to Ran and Lily. All eyes are on them. Ran and Lily smiled.

"Naaah.for loyal customers beloved Blume cafe. Especially tonight, all the menus are given for free by the owner, Mr. Ran curtis" said Sarah again greeted by boisterous applause and the happy faces of the visitors.

"Thank you Mr. Ran. I represent everything. But my fee singing is not free, is it???" Sarah was joking, the visitors were laughing.

Ran stood up and looked at all the customers with his warm smile.

"Thank you for being a customer of Blume's cafe. Hope you all like the menu we have here. Enjoy it" said Ran nodded his head.

Everyone applauded.

Rakha almost jumped. She was very surprised to learn that this cafe belonged to her husband Lily. How could this cafe be his? How is it possible.how mungkiin...He's feeling stressed.

"Look, he's very nice. My boss is great" Jamie praised Ran again. Rakha felt to be the saddest human being at the moment.

"Come, order whatever you want. After finishing eating. You'll tell me about your problem" Jamie said. This friend of his seems to be in a lot of trouble. Seen from his face that is tangled and very stressful. Just sitting down is uncomfortable.

"A song for all of you . This song was requested by Ran Curtis for his beloved wife....True colors from Cyndi Lauper" Sarah says.

Sarah's sweet voice makes the atmosphere romantic.

Ran clasped Lily's hand while smiling lovingly. Lily was happy. Loved for what he is by the man he also loves.

At the other table, Rakha looked agitated. She could not help but feel jealous seeing the extremely happy Ran and Lily. She knows this is Lily's favorite song.

"The song doesn't fit for either of us. We should have come here to bring our partner too" Jamie laughed. Moreover, some of his office friends who were sitting together at the other table were also staring at him while holding back a laugh. Of course they want to laugh. Look, he's sitting at a table with his male friend accompanied by a romantic song. Aaah is ridiculous.
