The Part 31

After knowing that Aurora will soon return to the city of S, Langit calls Rendi to immediately book a plane ticket with the same departure schedule. With a swipe Rendi booked a ticket meant by Sky.

"Don't you come, too?" asked Rendi on the phone as Sky gave her instructions over the phone.

"Lo is coming too. I will always need elo." Sky told Rendi.

"But my family needs me too. My son can't sleep if I don't get stuck."

"If you know that why you ask everything?" screeched Sky in annoyance and directly turned off his phone.

Rendi is married to Gita, a fellow assistant of a business partner company. They were met when Rendi and Langit cooperated with a nickel mining company. They have a three-year-old son named Aftar.

As Rendi said, Aftar will always wait for Rendi to come home to be broken. So inevitably, the Sky could not let Rendi overtime until late like before. And if there's an out-of-town business, there's Lucas replacing Rendi.

But this time, the sky went by itself. Because it's impossible to take Lucas on personal matters. Moreover, the one who knew the problem with Aurora was only Rendi.

At that time, Sky's mind was so confused that it could not think clearly. After arriving at S city, he was already like a 'stalker'. Every day he lurks Aurora. From the airport to tonight. With a rental motorbike, he participated in Aurora's activities. Today, she follows Aurora and Ray to a cake shop to order a birthday cake.

Again his heart warms up every time Ray says goodbye and Aurora gently kisses Ray's cheek.

Every time she was about to leave for the office, Aurora would walk her all the way to the door and wave her hands every time she walked out of the gate. The sky was still staring at the cool Aurora conversing with Mika from across the street. He parked his motorbike some distance away to avoid Aurora's suspicion.

Overwhelmed with Aurora's laughter, Sky's body accidentally toppled over. Inevitably he immediately rushed away after knowing Aurora was aware of his existence. He quickly started the motor and left. He passed in front of Aurora who was drowning on the side of the road.

Three days passed..

Aurora's activities are the same as always. Go home and go to the office. There are days where he goes with his office friends to just take a walk in the mall or eat at a side street stall.

This time they look strange. They should be in the office working, let alone this has passed from office entry hours. Their clothes look weird too. They wear black clothes and sunglasses. Not to forget the umbrella also with matching colors.

"Will they mourn?" inner Sky.

Ray drives his car away with Aurora leaving the house. The sky rushed to spur the speed of the motor to follow where they were going.

Fifteen minutes later they arrived at a public funeral. Ray and Aurora get out of the car. Ray carries a large box and several astronaut-shaped balloons, while Aurora carries flowers and her black umbrella.

The sky followed their steps from a distance away. Then hide from behind a large mahogany tree when they see the two of them gathered in front of a tomb. It is not clear the name of the tomb because of the distance of the sky.

Ray and Aurora seem to offer prayers. When finished, then Ray stuck the balloons he carried beside the tombstone. Then opened the big box he was carrying earlier which turned out to be a birthday cake.

Seen from a distance, on the cake was stuck with a candle with the shape of a number five.

Suddenly the heart of the sky was pounding. Curiosity and negative thoughts filled his mind.

"Is that Ray's kid? He said he was also a widower." muttered Sky trying to think positively.

Ray and Aurora were seen clapping as they sang a birthday song in front of the tomb and blew the number five candle together.

Aurora took out a book and read it while laying half of her body on top of the tomb. Ray takes an umbrella to ward off the sun that starts to sting.

"Don't! Don't think anything!" The sky shook its head trying to throw away the negative conjecture. Because his brain was filled with the sentence of the question: "Is that lying there my son?"

The Sky's hand clenched tightly as it looked at Aurora who was crying so much over the tomb while continuing to recite a fairy tale book.

"Damn, shit, shit! I want to go out there and see for myself the name on that headstone!" murmuring the sky while banging on the tree in front of him.

An hour later, Ray and Aurora leave the funeral and bring the birthday cake back. Only balloons and flowers were left on top of the tomb.

The sky did not immediately go to the tomb, he made sure Ray and Aurora had completely left the burial area.

Ray's car left the cemetery ten minutes ago. But the sky seemed to still be behind the big tree while continuing to look towards the tomb earlier.

His heart was very worried, between curious and also afraid if what was in his mind was true.

With a steady heart, the sky ran small to the tomb.

His body collapsed in front of the tomb. His tears immediately flowed profusely after reading the name on the tombstone.
