The Part 27
The aurora blinked several times to adjust the light from the bright lights. It turns out he's already in the hospital.
His head was still dizzy. His last memory, he met Sky at the toilet door. And then he didn't know what was going on.
"You're sober?!" Ray clasped Aurora's hand immediately upon awakening.
Aurora scowled her pulsating forehead.
"The doctor said you're tired, need a lot of rest. I'm sorry, I didn't know you were sick" Ray said grudgingly.
"I'm okay."
Aurora calms Ray who looks sad and guilty to her. Makes Aurora feel sad. Though he was not the cause of Aurora collapsed.
"Luckily, Mr. Sky accidentally saw you in front of the toilet. He's the one who brought you unconscious." Ray turned his head towards the sky which was standing some distance away from the cage.
"Once again I say thank you, Mr. Sky." said Ray sincerely.
Aurora just kept quiet and threw away her face.
"Curtain! Who did I pass out to?! Ray can thank him." Inner Aurora.
"Why didn't you tell me you knew Mr. Sky?" ask Ray.
"What?!"
Aurora's surprised. He thought, lest the heavens have told Ray that he is his ex-wife.
Rendi who participated in the room was also seen knitting eyebrows. He also thought, how reckless Heaven was to inform Chairman Ray of his status.
"Said Mr. Sky you used to be his partner for a few months."
"Oho! Yes, you can say that."
Aurora slightly grinned. "Fucking men!" inner Aurora.
"I'm still dizzy, Ray. I'm gonna take a break."
"alright. Sleep again. I'll take Mr. Sky out." said Ray softly as he peeked at the top of Aurora's head.
The sky that saw Ray kiss Aurora was burning in her heart. Then came Ray to take him out of the ward.
"I am this close to you. But there was never a chance to talk to you." Inner Sky while glancing at Aurora who was lying on the brangkar.
After they come out, Rendi and Sky will leave. Ray asked Sky for a minute to talk. The sky also asserts.
Now Sky and Ray are sitting on the hospital loby couch.
"What exactly is your relationship with Aurora, Mr Sky?" ask Ray without further ado.
"Don't I tell you Aurora used to be my partner?!"
"I don't know what 'partner' you mean. But I am not an insensitive person. Looking at Aurora's reactions and expressions every time you see you, you're definitely not a good partner."
The sky was shocked and furious at Ray's very frontal statement. His hands are back in clench. According to him, Ray's words are very presumptuous, but on the other hand they have a point.
As Ray said, he's not a good partner for Aurora. He had already hurt Aurora even from the beginning of the marriage when Aurora replaced Renata.
"Our relationship is very complicated to explain to others. But I hope, Aurora wants to see me even for a moment."
"I'll talk to Aurora. I want your problems solved. And I hope this matter doesn't affect our cooperation, Mr. Sky."
Sky nodded. He also hopes Aurora will meet him. I hope Ray can persuade Aurora.
They continued the conversation by changing the topic. Because Ray doesn't want to make his business associates uncomfortable. Half an hour later, Sky and Rendi said goodbye.
After them, Ray again waits for Aurora beside the cage.
Aurora awoke as she felt someone clasping her hand.
"sorry. Because of me, you're awake."
Aurora just shook her head. He looked at Ray.
"Is there anything you want to say, Ray?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"You're not as usual. What do you want to ask?!"
Aurora tilted her head while looking strangely at Ray.
"Is Mr Sky the person in your past?"
Aurora looked up at Ray's question. Then he lowered his head. His hands look trembling too.
Ray, who saw Aurora's reaction, already knew the answer.
"I'm sorry ak—"
Aurora placed her index finger on Ray's lips.
"Don't keep apologizing. Especially for the mistakes you didn't make."
"Don't ever leave me, Ra."
Ray placed his head on Aurora's lap with his own face.
"Why do you think I'm leaving you?"
"Pak Langit asked for help to persuade you to meet him."
Aurora's silent. The atmosphere became quiet.
Ray grabs Aurora's hand and kisses her.
"He's the one who desperately wants you to forget, right? I'm afraid that you'll fall in his arms again and leave me."
"Do you doubt me now?"
Ray immediately raised his head quickly. Afraid that Aurora misunderstood him.
"D-no, Ra! I'm just—"
Ray's sentence was interrupted because Aurora spontaneously kissed his lips.
"Please yourself, Ray." Aurora stroked Ray's cheeks gently.
Ray got out of his seat and sat on the Aurora's cage. Continue their kiss. They kissed and gripped each other long enough.
"Enough, Ray. I'm a patient!" cry Aurora with breath.
"Sorry, Ra. You started first." Ray expressed disappointed like a child who was angry with his parents.
"Ray, I'll see Mr. Sky before we get back."
"We're sure, Ra?"
Aurora replied with a nod.
"If you need help, I'll always be there."
"What help? Make that non-jok face Om-om songong?"
Aurora laughed after she laid eyes on the sky. Ray smiled at the cheerful returning Aurora.
"You rest again. I'll call first." Aurora replied with a nod. Then he went back inside his blanket.
Next day..
Sky and Aurora make an appointment at the cafe hotel where Aurora is staying.
Ready or not. It's time he ended all the things about the heavens. All the things that hurt so much that it ever made him fall.
Aurora doesn't want to get caught up in the past. Because now there is Ray beside him. He is sure to be happy with Ray.
Now Aurora walks to the cafe in question. Arriving there, he dizzy looking for the existence of the Sky. His eyes swept across the cafe. Seen some visitors who were sitting and then passing by. Until finally the netraannya caught the figure of Sky sitting at the table near the window.
Aurora took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. His heart feels so full. Exceeding nervous when going to have a wedding with the Sky first.
Then he steadily stepped his feet towards the place of Heaven.
The sky that saw Aurora walking towards her, her heart was pounding as well. Like the groom waiting for the bride to come out of the room. A smile spread from his face.
Now Aurora and the Sky are facing each other. And face each other's berserk thoughts.
