The spirit of the sun

Ye Futian was shocked by the force of his fist punch. He was happy with what he had just achieved, suddenly one slipped into his mind. He closed his eyes, and his consciousness headed to his Life Palace.

The figure of Ye Futian appeared under the World Tree. His eyes were filled with joy. At that moment, the jade-green-colored tree was enveloped by flames, appearing to glow with fire element Qi. What surprised Ye Futian even more was the extremely bright sun that was in the sky. The sun was emitting an astonishing light, although the effect was far from the dazzling original sunlight.

The mind of an actual cultivator always had some sort of form in their Life Palace. For some people, it may take the form of a mountain or river. To Ye Futian, it was a bright sun.

This power felt so strong that it almost absorbed the essence in the universe. Ye Futian was shocked as he stared at the sun in his Life Palace. Suddenly, he felt as if he was the sun itself. Spiritual Qi from the entire universe had flowed within him, then headed towards his subconscious and the World Tree.

The World Tree was now burning, and even the sun in the sky was shining even brighter.

With this scorching feeling, Ye Futian felt like he was in the middle of the sun; his joints, muscles, and bones were constantly enveloped by the flames of the sun.

My spirit is located in the Palace of Life ... Ye Futian muttered to himself. Suddenly, he remembered something —something that could possibly happen. He began to focus, and not long after, sunlight emanated from his head and illuminated the entire place. It gave a holy aura to his face.

"The Spirit in your Palace of Life — is it the sun?" Yu Sheng who was standing beside her asked.

Ye Futian suddenly opened his eyes. The light is gone now. He looked at Yu Sheng, a little confused, then muttered, "I seem to be able to create a spirit in my Life Palace..."

He realized clearly the sun in his Life Palace was a spirit. That spirit had increased his cultivation, and even showed an increase in strength to his body.

Yu Sheng was very happy; his eyes were wide open. He looked at Ye Futian and asked innocently, "Then please make one for me?"

Ye Futian was speechless. Yu Sheng had gone too far. How could he think of asking Ye Futian to create a spirit in his palace at a time like this?

"Don't think things through, friend," Ye Futian nodded, then turned around.

Yu Sheng became confused again. "Where are you going?"

"It's time to cultivate. We have to observe some animals." Ye Futian laughed, looking excited. The sun was pushing through some of the Plane so quickly that it would be very possible to reach the Juggernaut Plane of the Adamant Plane. Although it would require an incredible coordination of strength and spirit, once he arrived at the Juggernaut Plane, he would be able to integrate his mind, strength, and spirit. Each technique and movement would evolve into a new level of power in the Juggernaut Plane. He's got to make an effort.

Tianyao Mountain was filled with demons, even at its borders. Not long after they made their way to the mountain area, Ye Futian and Yu Sheng met the level four Demon Swift Panther.

"Yu Sheng, go and wait to block him, I'll chase after him." Ye Futian ordered Yu Sheng. Hearing that command, Yu Sheng flew like an arrow, with a power that somehow shook the earth. The Demon Tiger sensed the threat, and suddenly tried to escape as quickly as possible like lightning.

"The soul awakens the power of the mind, the mind awakens the power, the creator of the universe, break your limits and unleash all your power ..."

Ye Futian muttered a power cultivation spell. As he ran, the Tiger created a shadow, running in his mind. Almost every movement of the Tiger was repeated slowly in his mind.

Gradually, his body subconsciously followed the movements of the Tiger demon. When he jumped into the air, his right leg curled up slightly to jump further to the next step. It was as if he was the Tiger itself. Even though he was running fast, he was still not proficient enough to move like a Tiger, so the demon had almost escaped him. Fortunately, Yu Sheng managed to stop him before he managed to escape.

It was not just an ordinary power; it was the power of the wind. Ye Futian could feel the power of the wind element around that Tiger demon. He began to feel that his body was also absorbing energy from the wind; his clothes rippled, and his movements became more natural. Half an hour later, he fused with the wind, just like the Tiger did.

"Yu Sheng, let him. I'm done." Ye Futian stopped running, and Yu Sheng let go of the Tiger.

"You're a great copycat," Yu Sheng praised him. He had watched Ye Futian get the essence of the Tiger move in just half an hour.

"I have the power of the wind element. As long as I practice my techniques as he has, I will have his speed. But that's still not enough. Looks like you have more work to do for me today," Ye Futian laughed. Yu Sheng did not say anything, but he followed her silently.

The next few days, Ye Futian was training at Tianyao Mountain. He observed and imitated the movement patterns of monkeys, tigers, lions, and even birds. He is growing every day.

On the tenth day, he managed to reach the fifth level of the Awakening Plane, the Juggernaut Plane. That day, Ye Futian and Yu Sheng walked deep into the forest. The earth began to tremble slowly, as did the trees around them. There was a terrible sound heard in their ears.

They looked at each other to make a decision, then walked towards the source of the voice. The shaking became worse. Finally, they saw a gigantic monster, which was over five meters tall.

"Wow, it's a level nine demon; a Furious Ape." Highlight Yu Sheng's eyes looked sharp. That giant demon was truly a threat to him. However, what was surprising was the presence of a beautiful and graceful girl standing right in front of the Ape.

The girl was dressed in white. Her hair seemed to be dancing in the wind, as well as her skirt. Her face was so perfect that she would definitely become the idol of many men when she grew up. 

"Should we help him?" Yu Sheng asked.

"Wait, the monkey's hurt." Ye Futian noticed that the ape had wounds all over its body, while the girl looked fine.

"All!" The monkey suddenly stepped towards the girl with a loud roar. Due to the size difference, it was clear that the girl would not survive a single attack from the ape demon. However, Hua Jieyu quickly flew into a tree to dodge his attack.

The ape demon knocked down the tree, then took it as a weapon to throw at Hua Jieyu. The power of that throw was terrifying.

The girl remained calm. He jumped into the air. He also used the leaves as his weapon. The leaves were pointed towards the apes as if they were blades, and each of the leaves made a sound as it flew across the air.

The monkey tried to block the sharp leaves that attacked him with the tree in his hand. The leaves were everywhere, and after a while, the tree was almost cut into small pieces. 

Gravels and large stones flew everywhere. Hua Jieyu fell behind another tree and closed her eyes. Suddenly, all the debris flew towards the ape. Each piece of debris became like a small knife, together, they eroded the ape's demon defenses by slashing its skin bit by bit. What was even more terrifying was the sharp spear that had been formed by Qi Hua Jieyu and had been directed towards that Ape.

A very powerful spell. Ye Futian was really surprised. A moment later, he watched as the spear pierced through the monkey's eyes. The giant monster growled in pain and began to flee. He crashed and dropped every tree that blocked his path.

The girl did not chase the monkey. She slowly descended to the ground, as if she was a goddess descending to the earth.

"Enjoy the show?" Hua Jieyu smiled gently. Ye Futian and Yu Sheng walked out of their hiding place and looked at the girl, who was their age. They look surprised.

"You're a multi-elemental wizard? Are you serious?" Ye Futian asked.

"I know you." Hua Jieyu did not answer Ye Futian's question, preferring to look at her.

"I think I'm famous." Ye Futian smiled as well. She seemed to be truly honored to be known by the academy's legendary beautiful maiden.

"Three years ago at the Academy Entrance Test. I heard what you said when we first met."

"Well…." Ye Futian felt a sense of awkwardness in the air, but he immediately calmed down and asked, "What did I say?"

Hua Jieyu gave her a sweet smile that almost made her soul float.

"You asked me if I was a fairy." He kept smiling, then went back into the forest.

Sure oes. Ye Futian was silent for a second, then nodded to the figure who was walking away.

"It seems you remember it." Yu Sheng also noticed her as he left.

Ye Futian thought back to what happened three years ago. When she first met 12-year-old Hua Jieyu, she told Yu Sheng, "She is too beautiful to be human. In a few years she'll be a fairy and dangerous to men."

"People said that he had reached the ninth level of the Awakening Plane and he mastered many powers and spells. I can't imagine how powerful the spell he used was, most people in the ninth level of the Awakening Plane can't do the same thing he did. Rumor has it that she is a Mandate Witch. Some of the master teachers in the academy had already made him a private disciple. The men chased after her, but none of them could even match her beauty and talent," Yu Sheng muttered.

"He captivated your heart. Am I right?" Ye Futian scoffed at him.

Yu Sheng shook his head, then said in a serious tone, "I think he's here for you."

"Come on," Ye Futian said as he patted the top of Yu Sheng's head, "Stop thinking then."

He turned around and suddenly smiled like a child. "To be honest, I want to marry her. She was truly qualified to be a future wife," Ye Futian chuckled.

Yu Sheng stumbled upon hearing this. He looked at Ye Futian from behind.. Just a candidate? A rude joke.
