Prologues
Being great, strong and famous is the ideal of everyone. The Niao Island, Han Kingdom. If you want to be great, then you must be a Swordsman.
What is a Swordsman?
Swordsman is where one has established a contract with the sword Spirit.
What is Sword Spirit?
Sword Spirits are other dimensional supernatural beings or also called demons. This demon can transform into a sword that can be used by the owner. Normally when one had cultivated and reached the fifth stage Swordsman then he could open the dimensional gate through his subconscious. After entering the subconscious, the Sword Spirit would come to the cultivator.
The Sword Spirit could predict the speed of a cultivator in cultivating. So that those geniuses would be visited by many Sword Spirits and cultivators could only choose the strongest one according to him. A brighter Sword Spirit signifies him a strong demon and conversely a dimly glowing demon means a weak demon.
As for the types of Sword Spirits:
*Red light signifies Fire-elemented stealth, examples of Phoenix and Salamander.
*Blue Light signifies Water-Elemented Demon, examples of Water Dragons, Sharks and Goldfish.
*Green Light indicates Wind-elemented Demon, examples Wind Dragons, Storks and Eagles.
*White Light signifies Ice-Elemented Demon, examples White Fox, Polar bear and Polar Eagle.
*Black denotes Earth-elemented Demon, examples of Tiger, Lion and Bear.
Each element has its own advantages and the type of demon also affects its prowess. The most important thing was his cultivation level, the higher it was the stronger his Sword Spirit was as well.
As for the cultivation level is from stage 1-100, or called Swordsman stage one and so on. After cultivation was at the peak or Swordsman stage 100, then they would go through the trial test of passing the lightning calamity. This was where many Swordsmen died due to the weight of the ordeal, yet if successful they would ascend to the Immortal realm of the God realm.
At the age of ten, the children would incubate Rongqi in their subconscious. Rongqi is a container that holds Qi while cultivating. This rongqi will enlarge every step up marked by a thunderstorm striking within it for a while. The higher the stage the longer the process of increase.
A level one Swordsman, Rongqi in his subconscious was only a drop, while a level 50 Swordsman had a Rongqi as large as a large lake. A stage 100 Swordsman had an ocean-wide Rongqi.
The Sword Spirit that had already established the contract would automatically stay within Rongqi. If the Swordsman wants to fight just imagine, then the Sword Spirit will come out by itself.

10,000 years ago, Wei Xiuhuan was born in the city of Hua. A small town on the southern mainland of Niao island, the Han kingdom.
At that time, Niao island was still connected to the mainland. However, the big kingdoms there like to fight over resources. It also had an impact on the Han Kingdom which became the kingdom's seizure from the mainland.
Originally Niao Island was only a province under the auspices of the Han Kingdom, but the territory of the Han Kingdom on the mainland was completely annexed by the Great Kingdom. Because he could no longer resist, for the future of the Han Kingdom. The King of the Han Empire decided to perform a forbidden technique by sealing Niao Island from the outside world. So now the Han Kingdom turned into a closed Kingdom, like having its own world.
The technique cost the lives of thousands of Swordsman stage 50-100, so the event was called the century of emptiness. Because all that remains is now Swordsman level 49 and below only.
Wei Xiuhuan was ten years old, his father was an elder in the Blue Lotus Sect. Feeling that he would not live again, he gave the Elder Plaque to him. So that he would become his successor to become an elder in the Blue Lotus Sect.
After his father left, Wei Xiuhuan entered the Blue Lotus Sect. When opening the dimensional gate, Wei Xiuhuan came upon many Spirits. Some of them were brightly lit and one spirit was rare, but the light was dim which signified he was a low-level demon.
Wei Xiuhuan hesitated, but those rare Spirits were extremely rare. Wei Xiuhuan decided to take it and establish a contract. That spirit is the Electric Spirit Eel or Electric Eel.
Since the Electric Eel Spirit was only a low level, no elder would take it to become a disciple. It was with a sad feeling that Wei Xiuhuan returned to the Wei Clan, having not been accepted into the blue Lotus Sect.
Clan Leader Wei expelled Wei Xiuhuan for having only a trash spirit. Little Wei Xiuhuan wandered here and there. Both of his parents had died as a result of participating in sealing Niao Island, there was no longer a shelter for him.
However, luck sided with Wei Xiuhuan. Although his cultivation was slow, somewhere in the middle of Niao Island there was a war between sects. Wei Xiuhuan gathered a lot of gold from the corpses of the Swordsmen who were killed.
Wei Xiuhuan bought a lot of resources with the gold. Until a century of doom re-emerged a hundred years later. The century of doom was a rebel to the Kingdom committed by some great Sects. The Sects simultaneously refused to pay tribute.
The system of government of the Han Kingdom was to give the Sect governing several cities, depending on the strength of that Sect. The strong ate the weak, some Sects made alliances, while others frowned at the stronger Sects.
They destroyed many Sects who were unwilling to submit to the Han Kingdom.
After a long war of 50 years. All parties agreed to reconcile, they were willing to pay tribute of 30% of the Sect's income to the Han Kingdom. The Han Kingdom then gave 5% of that tribute to the Heavenly Sword Sect, as it contributed greatly to this war. Finally several hundred years later the Heavenly Sword Sect incarnated into the number one Sect on Niao Island.
Meanwhile Wei Xiuhuan stripped the name of the Wei Clan attached to him and only used the name Xiuhuan, because he had expelled his own Clan.
Xiuhuan was the only long-lived cultivator, because when he tried to pass through the lightning doom. Xiuhuan always failed, but did not die because the Electric Spirit Eel absorbed the thunderbolts.
Desperate to not know what else to do. Xiuhuan decided to marry alone, but Xiuhuan turned out to be barren, so his relationship with his wife became tenuous.
However, there was a funny thing, his wife was caught cheating with Swordsman number Five in the Heavenly Sword Sect. He was also the elder in the strongest Sect in that Han Kingdom.
Xiuhuan is lazy and rarely wants to work if not tight, so he is not famous even though strong. One day, his wife is intercepted by robbers. The Heavenly Sword Sect elder who happened to pass by helped him. She was fascinated by Xiuhuan's beautiful beauty.
Xiuhuan's wife then confided about the habit of her lazy husband and he who always slammed bones by selling food around the village.
The Heavenly Sword Sect elder was furious. He took Xiuhuan's wife away with him and started a new life.
A neighbor of Xiuhuan overheard their conversation and reported it to Xiuhuan. It was with great emotion that Xiuhuan chased after them. There was a battle between the two Swordsmen. Because Xiuhuan's cultivation was higher by several levels. That Heavenly Sword Sect elder died horribly. Xiuhuan's wife was devastated to see him and committed suicide in front of Xiuhuan.
Xiuhuan was devastated and felt guilty, he then decided to be alone cultivating for 200 years, but again Xiuhuan failed to pass the Lightning of Catastrophe.
Due to his constant boredom of solitude, he later returned to society and often escorted merchants to various cities to meet his living needs. Until one day he met the Blue Lotus Sect Chief who was besieged by the 80th stage Swordsman Assassin who was rarely found in the Han Kingdom. The besieged Blue Lotus Sect Chief was only at the 65th level Swordsman. He was the strongest person in Hua City.

The head of the blue Lotus Sect agreed with the proposal and they returned to Hua city. However, there Xiuhuan returned to action, he did not accept any disciples for twenty years there. He only ate a blind paycheck, albeit a little.
