as the purpose of martial arts, Langga art has the aim to sharpen human instinct in overcoming various threats and dangers that threaten his life. the movements in the art of Langga itself are imitations of animals or movements of daily community activities.

some of the movements in Langga art include duduta'o (posture/horse), hunggo (punch), tetedu'o (kick), totame (gank), Bolubu'o (step), popoli (development), moluludu (sweep), and, and the bronze (lock) all mixed in a dance-like movement that adds to the beauty of the movement in the art of Langga.

while in mental and spiritual coaching, the learning of the art of Langga will lead someone to the attitude of Mo'odelo, which is a low profile person, complying with the laws of society and the laws of the country. a Langga practitioner at its peak became a Sufi amid the moral breakdown of the current younger generation.
