New Assistant

The usual morning routine they do before doing the activity. Sesil faithfully sat down with her husband to enjoy the breakfast provided by Bi Nung.

Several times Nathan's phone rang, several incoming messages from Emilia were clearly printed on his phone screen.

Today Nathan has a myriad of important meetings ranging from 9am to ninepm.

Since Nathan is in full control of his wife's family company he is very busy and must be smart to manage the time to meet his wife in between the extraordinary busyness.

"Honey, today I'm very busy, maybe it'll be late tonight" Nathan looked at his wife as his mouth continued to chew breakfast.

"Hm" Sesil nodded his head understanding her husband's busyness. Actually he feels very lonely when Nathan lives working, but what can he do?

In addition, papi, aunt and her om are currently still focused on taking care of her opah treatment in the country of kangaroos.

Nathan looked at his wife's grim face, he understood very well his wife's current feelings. There is nothing Nathan can do right now.

"Darling?" Nathan called out to his wife gently, making Sesil turn her gaze toward her husband with a sad look

"I'm fine Nath" Sesil forced a smile on his lips

"I'm trying to get my job done as fast as I can. You're fine at home huh"

Nathan stood up from his chair and kissed the top of his wife's head softly and goodbye to go to his office.

Nathan walks into the company lobby, and sees emilia waiting there.

"Good morning Boss" Emilia greeted Nathan and Nathan just nodded his head

"Today's schedule boss, at 09.00 there was a meeting with a client from Singapore, Mrs. Magdalena at the Cempaka hotel"

Nathan nodded in a sign of understanding what his secretary said. Emilia continued to walk beside Nathan busily reading out her boss' schedule, until both of them get into the elevator even when Nathan is sitting in his study Emilia is still reading his long schedule like a train.

Nathan massaged his temple, his head feeling so dizzy with his never-ending work. When Emilia had just finished her task, suddenly Nathan's office door was knocked.

Emilia walked over then opened the door of her boss's study.

Emilia frowned seeing a young man of her age standing in a suit looking so dignified.

"I'm looking for CEO Nathan Adibjo" The man bowed his head in a salute to Emilia.

"Please enter" Emilia opened the door and told the stranger to enter.

"Good morning CEO, introduce me to Bram, the man Mr. Sean sent directly to help you. I was one of the managers at a subsidiary of Carnal Group located in Jakarta" Bram bowed in greeting Nathan.

Nathan was silent for a moment looking at Bram who was standing quietly before him. Bram has a calm face, thick eyebrows a pretty decent face and an incredible aura. Nathan believes Bram has gone through a long enough selection that he was selected to be sent to help him here.

"Emilia, you can get out"

"Good boss" Emilia walked out and closed her boss's office door and returned to her desk.

"Please sit down" Nathan invited Bram to sit down.

"Well, you're here to be my personal assistant. The woman standing next to you was my secretary" Nathan said. Then Nathan opened his desk drawer and threw a brown envelope in front of Bram.

"In the envelope, there were several photos, starting from my wife and my entire family. I don't want you not to know any of my family members" Nathan said. Bram looks so calm and observes one by one the photos in the envelope.

"I don't like the slightest mistake in any business. I like everything perfect. And the first thing you have to do is study this file" Nathan thrusts the map in front of Bram, and Bram immediately accepts and opens it

"It was a small company that I wanted to eliminate from the business world. Inside there is also a photo of a woman, the only daughter of a company owner who works as a model. You know what I want, don't you?" Nathan fused his eyebrows together and looked at Bram who seemed busy reading the files.

"Okay CEO, I'll do what you want" Bram closed the map again and nodded in understanding the new boss's instructions.

"You must eliminate them without remainder, for their daughter has already dared to demean my wife. So make sure you do it well" Nathan said with emphasis.

"You can go back to work, your desk is next to Emilia, she'll help you learn the files you need to master. Don't let you make a mistake or you'll get me fired from my company"

"Okay CEO, I understand. Excuse me" Bram stood up from his chair and bowed respectfully and took a few steps back and flipped out of Nathan's study.

Nathan grabs the phone handle located on his desk, then he presses a few digits of the number and the call is connected

"Hello om, the assistant you sent has started working today"

"Good, he's your pick and your papi. Om's sure he has abilities that will support you at work" Sean's voice rang out from behind the phone handle Nathan was holding

"Thank you, I hope Bram can be an assistant to my trust"

"Yes, Nathan is back at work. Greetings to all the families in Australia" Then Nathan hung up his phone call and started working again, he began to check the files and give some graffiti as a correction of his men's work which he thought was not right.

"Thank you, it's good to be working with you" Nathan stood up and shook the hands of his client who came from the land of sakura.

Then the two bow to each other followed by assistants and secretaries from both sides.

Then Mr.Kotaro went out of their meeting room.

Nathan breathed a sigh of relief as he managed to attract large investors into his company. He sat himself in the chair again. Likewise with Bram and Emilia who are still loyal waiting for their Boss.

Nathan took a glass of wine and drank it. It felt like his body was so sore from constantly having meetings throughout the day.

For a moment Nathan looked at the circular watch on his wrist.

It's 22:04 but the work has just finished. Nathan poured the wine back into the empty glass and then gulped it down to the toilet.

"Bram, how long will it take you?" Nathan averted his eyes to look at Bram

Emilia momentarily glanced at Bram, she was curious as to what her Boss meant.

"Good, I'm waiting for the good news" Nathan stood up and walked away from the meeting room followed by his two assistants.

The three split back home in their cars.

Nathan parked his car in the trunk of the car, then he immediately entered his house.

Nathan slowly opened the knob of his room door. The lights of his room that has been dim indicate that his wife must have fallen asleep.

Nathan put his briefcase on the sofa and took a set of clothes and then he went into the bathroom to clean himself from the sweat that felt so sticky on his body.

Nearly twenty minutes later, Nathan finally came out of the bathroom and slowly crawled onto the bed and leaned on his back on the bed.

His eyes looked at his wife who was asleep, his wife's beautiful and cute face was able to relieve fatigue that whack Nathan's body.

His outstretched hand rubbed his wife's head, brushing the child's hair that covered part of his wife's pretty face.

Nathan suddenly pulled both corners of his lips into a smile.

He did not think that his girlfriend was now at his side, reciprocating his feelings, considering that there could even be said his love was avenged already.

In the past Nathan could only see Sesil from a distance, take a portrait of Sesil secretly, and if he wanted to be close to Sesil, he said, he had to bother thinking about what ignorance he had to do in order to attract the attention of women who are now legally his wife.

Even their second meeting in the cemetery that finally opened the way for Nathan could have Sesil as completely as it is today.

"Thank God for creating a woman as beautiful and as good as my wife" Nathan stroked Sesil's cheek gently

Sesil who felt that someone was disturbing his sleep immediately blinked his eyes trying to open his eyes which were actually very sleepy and tired.

"You're home yet?" Sesil said with his hoarse voice

"Hm, go to sleep" Nathan rubbed his wife's head trying to put his wife back to sleep, so that it did not take long Sesil had returned to the dreamland.

Nathan also laid himself down and closed his eyes because he felt so tired in his body.

No matter how long Nathan slept, he heard his wife delirious, even his hands hitting the empty air before him

"Mommy, mommy ! Wait for Sesil mi, wait"

"Honey, wake up baby" Nathan patted his wife's cheek but didn't make his wife's cheek hurt

"Don't hurt mommy, don't" Sesil continued to rumble indistinctly with his eyes closed

"Darling, wake up" Nathan this time patted his wife's cheek harder, and his efforts turned out to be successful.

Sesil opened his eyes with a breath that sounded so hunting, even cold sweat drenched his forehead.

"Dear calm. Drink this" Nathan handed him a glass of water that was always available on a small table beside his bed.

Sesil grabbed the glass and sipped the drink until it was gone, then handed the glass to Nathan, and Nathan immediately returned the glass in its original place.

Without saying anything, Nathan immediately pulled Sesil into his arms. He knew very well that his wife must have had nightmares.

Nathan guides his wife's body to lie on the bed, still tightly hugging his wife's body trying to give her a sense of security.

Sesil slowly could already regulate his breathing.

"Nath." call Sesil shirih

"Why baby?"

"Never go away from me" Sesil tightened his arms to her husband. Because she doesn't want to lose someone she loves like she lost her mother.

Nathan did not answer his wife's words, but she tightened her arms in response to Sesil's question.

Because indeed Nathan had sworn not to leave Sesil whatever his circumstances later.

Nathan gave a soft caress in his wife's hair, even giving her a pretty good kiss on the top of his wife's head.

Before long, the two fell asleep again.
