Chapter 51 New Concerns
Risa walks towards her house, behind her Davian and Sam walk while occasionally glancing at each other, however Davian had previously told her about Risa's background.
"You guys sit here first." Said Risa while pointing at the weathered chair in her living room, Risa walked into the room next to the living room.
Davian and Sam sit without making a sound, Davian is busy looking at every detail of the corner of Risa's house while Sam is busy with his cell phone to give employees directions in the office because he and Davian left the office.
"I'm sorry I changed my clothes first." Said Risa while putting two cups of tea on the living room table.
"You live alone Ris?" Davian asked after sipping the tea that Risa served.
"There's a mama in the room." Risa replied while pointing at the room that was at the end of the room.
"Where's he going?" Ask Davian
Suddenly Risa's face turned sad when Davian asked about her papah.
"What's wrong?" Davian asked then who saw Risa's sad face.
"Well, there isn't." Risa replied with a voice that turned raucous.
"Sorry." Davian felt bad
Risa just nodded.
"Since when?" Ask Davian again.
"When I was in 3rd grade High School." Reply Risa who is now seen wiping away the tears that have been pooled in her eyes.
"I'm sorry I didn't want to pry into your past, Ris." Davian said in a guilty tone.
"No papa Dav, thank you for your attention." Risa replied with a smile.
"Riss." The female voice sounded very soft.
"For a moment, Dav." Said Risa rising towards her mama's room.
Moments later Risa approached Davian back to the living room, Sam was seen in the yard talking to someone on his phone.
"Mom why?" Davian asked after Risa sat down.
"You're sick." Answer Risa.
"May I see mama?" Davian asked expectantly.
Davian entered Risa's mama's room, where he saw a woman who was not too old rolled weakly on the bed.
"You know how you are?" Davian asked as he kissed Risa's hand.
"As you can see, son." Answer in a soft voice.
"You're Risa's friend?" Ask mamah Risa later.
"She Vian mah friend Risa used to be Junior High." Obviously Risa.
"Mom probably forgot." Risa continues.
"Vian who once fainted at home." Risa tries to remember Davian
"Your mother remembers." Davian smiled.
"You're better looking now." While stroking Davian's face.
"May rest ya." Said Risa softly while pulling her mama blanket.
"When did you get sick?" Davian asked when they had returned to the living room
Davian is quite close to Risa's family because their childhood home is close together to make them often play together, besides that Mama Risa also loves Davian like her own child.
"Since the accident." Answer Risa.
"meaning?" Davian asked who looked confused.
Risa also told Davian, when Risa was in 3rd grade of High School her parents had an accident that killed her papah and put her mother in a coma for almost 6 months, all of her father's possessions were used up to finance the treatment of her mother, lucky Risa is a smart child so she can get a full scholarship during college. Risa decided to sell her parents' house and buy a simple house because her mother requires a large cost for treatment abroad.
"Then you don't have any more medication?" Davian asked after Risa finished telling the story.
"Mate control every month, I can't afford mamah in Dav's hospital." Risa replied with a guilty look.
Davian was silent for a moment, he felt sorry for Risa who struggled alone, Davian felt lucky even though he was also a kara but his uncle always gave everything Davian needed.
"Sam." call Davian.
Sam went inside the house and heard Davian calling him. Davian whispered something as Sam was already standing next to him, Sam nodded and immediately pulled out his phone while walking to the front yard.
