CHAPTER 7. Daddy's advice

Aluna's cold fingers held her shoulders, Rae tried to brush her off, she was surprised that there were women who were so brave to touch men carelessly.

“You really suck.” Rae Umbat.

“Sayang..”.

Rae gawked at the sound of those wildly-goals, she blinked her eyes, distrustful of Aluna's behavior, which she thought was beyond that limit.

“Rae dear, wake up, you sleep until afternoon.”.

Rae opened her eyes in surprise as Luna's voice turned into a familiar heavy voice.

“Daddy...” Rae immediately got up and sat up straight, her face flushed to herself, realizing she had just dreamed in a lazy nap until the afternoon.

“Who sucks?” Raka sat raising her eyebrows, looking at Rae with a suspicious look.

“Mean daddy?”Rae pretended to be confused, she was completely misbehaved when her father asked her that. He thought he said it only in a dream turned out unconsciously he was already raving indistinctly in a state of sleep.

“You just said you were upset with someone.”

“Daddy misheard.”

“Masa?”

“Rae doesn't name people, does it?” suddenly Rae became panicked herself.

“Looks..”Raka glanced funny at his son, like seeing his retreat when he was caught flipping his mush bowl intentionally when he was a child.

“Why is Daddy in Rae's room without permission?” Rae scowled in protest, trying to avoid the gaze of the father.

“Should daddy permission first if you want to enter his son's room?” Raka asked, pretending to look surprised by the question of the child.

“Mommy 'will always say, give your son privacy..” Oceh Rae, look at his mother's statement while defending him.

“That's your mommy rule, daddy doesn't have to hear it..”.

Rae always loses when arguing with her father.

“What did daddy wake Rae?” Rae asked then while tidying up her hair.

“Mommymu said you haven't been out of your room since you came home from school.” Raka sits casually on the edge of Rae's bed.

“Rae overslept.”

“Not usually.”

Rae scratched her head that was not itchy, as usual this misbehavior style decreased from the father.

“Rae...” Suddenly Raka's handsome face became serious, then looked directly into her son's eyes for some time.

“Your school head called daddy today.” He said later, observing Rae's reaction.

Rae welcomed her father's gaze for a moment before then lowering her head, she knew her mistake today would certainly reach her parents, but she did not expect it to be this fast.

“Rae know..”.

“You know about what?” Raka asked sharply, the fashion as a father is now activated, Rae knows if his father's voice is like this tone, he is not joking with Rae.

“Rae came home early today. Rae gets home before history lesson time.”

“Oh, yes. You even skipped today?” Raka looked at Rae with a slightly surprised look, Rae immediately realized that her father was not talking about her skipping at the last hour but it seemed like something else.

“Rae, what's wrong with you?” Asked the father then, his hands were crossed in front of his chest like someone trying to listen.

“you today broke your friend's glasses in the cafeteria.” Suddenly Raka chimed in her own words, seeing Rae not answering her.

“Is that true?”

Rae raised her face, looking into the eyes of the father.

“Dad, it was by accident.” He said later, trying to defend himself a bit.

“A friend of yours reported this incident to the principal, and today your principal called daddy.”

“Friends?” the face on his head was Arka, but then he threw away his guess because Arka was his only close friend who always defended even hiding his mistake. Even if Arka wants to report many things that have been done without the knowledge of her parents, of course this small problem is certainly not the thing in question anymore. Arka holds many secrets to Rae.

“A friend of yours objected to your attitude today, so he reported that you were for doing something rude to your schoolmate in the cafeteria.”

“Aluna?” Now that Rae's eyes were glaring, she was sure of being nearly ninety percent, if the classmate she was referring to was Luna, the new student in her class.

“Aluna?” Raka repeated the words spoken by Rae.

“Who is Luna?”

“That pretentious girl..” Rae stopped the sentence she was throwing with a little fiery, when she saw that Daddy's face was getting furrowed at her.

“Daughter? You're upset with a girl to the point that you're delirious?”

”Eh, no, Dad...mksud Rae.eh...” Rae momentarily confused herself, her face hollering not knowing what to say to explain her point.

“We are talking about what you are doing today, not talking about anything else. You're not bullying your friends, are you? ” Raka frowned.

“Dad, Rae accidentally broke Amar's glasses, at that time Arka and I were chatting in the cafeteria and Rae's hand accidentally hit him when he passed. He fell and his glasses break, Rae really unintentionally, swear..”Rae explained the problem to the father.

“And you left your friend just like that, without even apologizing?”

Rae was instantly speechless, her head was suddenly adorable, it turned out that this kid named Luna was really looking for trouble with her, even all the details in her making were as dramatic as possible just to make her really look so arrogant.  Though Rae forgot to do it because she was provoked by emotions with all Aluna's treatment of her.

“Rae doesn't mean that, dad..” Rae sighed, free she tried to explain, her father would not understand if he was in Rae's position at that time.

“Rae, daddy won't judge you for what daddy doesn't see but daddy is very sorry if you act out of control. Lately you are reported to have fought with several children, just because of trivial problems. Although you say, you are just trying to defend one of your friends who are treated unfairly by others but daddy is also not a person who likes violence.” Raka said in a firm voice.

“Daddy knows, as a teenager, daddy does not need to curb you excessively but as a parent daddy still worry about your association if it turns out it can adversely affect your personal development. Do not try to be someone who is selfish and all you want, want to show yourself right does not mean by raising your head too high.” Raka lowered the volume of her voice, now she was not trying to rebuke but rather to advise.

“As long as your daddy and mommy believe, you can take yourself well and be an example to your sisters. Daddy is proud to see you grow so respectful and caring for others, so able to be protective of your two younger siblings. But can you control your emotions so you can be respected by others?” Raka threw the question, as she saw Rae again lower her head.

Rae fell silent.

“Rae, do not be high-minded with the advantages that you have because it is not eternal but virtuous that people will remember about us. Even if you accidentally hurt your friend, what is wrong to say sorry, it will not reduce your self-esteem to the end. We do not need to be too smart but it is important to be good, when you forget how to be kind and polite to others, you are not a person who can succeed in the future.”

Rae did not argue anything, let alone trying to defend herself again, she just lifted her face on the daddy with regret.

“Rae regrets making daddy worry about Rae. “ Sahut handsome teenager, which makes Raka nod her head. The face of Raka and sarah's fusion was actually so perfect, her eyes that sparkled like the painting reminded raka of the wife's eyes, and she always melted when Rae blinked at her.
