A week later, everything looks as usual. Like nothing happened. Ayli Hoon works with passion, Jung Soo meets his schedule with a smile, Hyun Jae takes Jung Soo's schedule seriously. But in reality, their hearts and minds were in turmoil. Especially Jung Soo and Ayli Hoon.

This past week Seung Yun has never appeared in front of Jung Soo. If they meet, then Seung Yun will turn his face away. Whereas if Jung Soo and Ayli Hoon meet, Ayli Hoon is acting normal, like nothing ever happened. He talks about only the important things. But, that is precisely what is increasingly heart-wrenching Jung Soo.

The girl he loved, who had always been encouraging in his life now acted as if they had never had any relationship before him.

During the office break, Jung Soo and Kim Joon were having lunch at the ArtD restaurant on the ground floor. They talk casually about their schedules.

"Hyun Jae said that your new song will be made into the drama ost that you will star in. That's great" said Kim Joon.

"Well, I don't actually have any interest in acting, but the pay is very expensive. Hyun Jae hyeong wanted me to take on the role of the drama, so for hyeong's sake I supported her, too" Jung Soo said.

"Oh yes, your comeback this year has managed to steal the attention of the world. I'm so proud of you" Jung Soo said again as he patted Kim Joon on the shoulder.

"Yes because the theme is different from previous albums" Kim Joon replied with a big smile.

"But I think you're singing with a lot of feeling. Have you ever experienced it?" ask Jung Soo casually without any intention.

Kim Joon chokes while drinking. He coughed, his face flushed.

"Slowly." Jung Soo gave kissu.

"Well, your question made me choke" Kim Joon said, laughing.

"Everyone knows you've never been seen with a woman. Even I don't know if you've ever been in love" Jung Soo said.

Kim Joon didn't say anything anymore. In his heart he said if Jung Soo knew who was loved by him was Ayli Hoon, then I don't know what his best friend would feel.

They finished eating and left the table. Jung Soo and Kim Joon walk casually out of the restaurant. In front of the restaurant exit, Hyun Jae saw the two and waved his hand.

"What's Hyeong?" ask Jung Soo after they face each other.

"There's something important I want to talk about. And Kim Joon, if you want to come, come with us" Hyun Jae said.

The three of them walked into the elevator. Arriving at Hyun Jae's room. They were sitting on a sofa that was near the glass wall of the building. Hyun Jae sat opposite Jung Soo and Kim Joon.

"What's Hyeong?" asked Jung Soo who saw Hyun Jae's expression was fretting.

"You remember the last time you told Seung Yun?"

Hearing the girl's name, Jung Soo immediately felt the wound in his heart back in tearing deeper and deeper.

"You said, if it was true that you had done something to her, she would have conceived your child. If that's true, then you'll be responsible" Hyun Jae said. He did not continue his words.

He took a deep breath first and continued. "He is pregnant."

Like a huge lightning bolt, Jung Soo instantly limp helplessly, there was no strength and power in his body. He felt the heat all over his body. His face paled, his eyes were staring blankly, and his lips were unable to say anything.

"What's? Is that true?" Kim Joon said he couldn't believe it.

"Yes, Seung Yun came to me. He handed me a letter from the doctor. The letter stated clearly that Seung Yun is indeed pregnant," Hyun Jae replied.

Hyun Jae handed the letter to Kim Joon. Kim Joon read the letter. Then he turned to look at Jung Soo who was sitting next to him.

"Jung Soo, now you have to take responsibility." Hyun Jae confirmed.

"No!!" Jung Soo shouted and stood up. His eyes turned red and tears began to fall. He walked quickly out of the room.

"Will he be okay?" ask Kim Joon after Jung Soo comes out of the room.

"He must be fine. He just needs time to believe this" Hyun Jae replied.

The next day, a producer came to the ArtD Entertainment building. The man came to the receptionist and asked Hyun Jae where he was. The receptionist immediately contacted Hyun Jae, and soon Hyun Jae arrived.

"Sorry to interrupt, I didn't make an appointment before" the producer said.

"No problem. Do I need to talk in my room?" ask Hyun Jae kindly.

"No sir, thank you. I just want to give you this letter. You said that today Jung Soo was suddenly unable to come to our show. So the letter you sent this morning I signed" said the man.

"Well.why bother delivering it? It's just a letter, it can be sent by post" Hyun Jae said.

"It's okay. I also have an interest with HRD ArtD," the man replied.

They chatted before the producer went to the third floor.

After the man left, came Kim Joon who wore everyday clothes.

"Good morning, Hyeong. Sorry I overheard Jung Soo not attending the event. Is Jung Soo okay?" ask Kim Joon.

"He went to Jeju, to his parents' house. He said he wanted to clear his mind first" Hyun Jae replied.

"Hyeong, I think you should tell Ayli Hoon. Although this hurts her, it's important that she knows this from you. If he finds out from other people, then it will be even more painful" Kim Joon said.

"You're right. All right, I'll tell her soon."

"It's okay, I'll be fine. Tell him, be a good father." Ayli Hoon smiled.

Although Ayli Hoon smiled widely, Hyun Jae could see the wound behind the smile. Hyun Jae imagined how painful the girl felt.

"I'm sorry, I have to carry on with my work." Ayli Hoon bowed and left Hyun Jae's room.

Hyun Jae took a deep breath and exhaled. He felt bad for Ayli Hoon. The girl has been through the twists and turns while with Jung Soo, and now the girl does not get happiness at the end of her love story.

Ayli Hoon walked in the seventh floor corridor. The tears she had endured since Hyun Jae said that Seung Yun was pregnant with Jung Soo's child, now falling down her cheeks. The tears fell so hard that his hands could not wipe his cheeks. He ran into the elevator.

As the elevator went by, Ayli Hoon sat in the corner and sobbed. Before Hyun Jae told Seung Yun about his pregnancy, there was still a sense of trust that Jung Soo did not do that. But, after hearing it from Hyun Jae, it shattered all his trust in the man he loved.

Ayli Hoon hugged herself in grief and hurt. As soon as the elevator stopped on the eighth floor, Ayli Hoon immediately wiped his tears and exited the elevator.
