Laila Bodyguard Surveyed
19.The hypocrite

After praying Isya, Laila read the Qur'an in her room, she did not know that the chant of her Quran sounded to Arga's ears.

Arga was about to knock on Laila's room door because he wanted to say something, but hearing Laila was teaching, he waited until the end. He stood in front of the door. Unconsciously his heart was touched by the chant of the holy verse. "Maasyaa Allah, Laila turned out to be very beautiful voice while chanting the Qur'an," the inner Arga who was waiting for Laila.

Shortly after, Laila came out of the room, surprised to see Arga suddenly in front of her room.

"What's wrong here?" laila asked astonishedly looking at Arga.

Arga also said the point, "I want to go out, papa ngajak I have dinner, not good if nolak, who knows there is something important that he wants to say," said Arga.

"I mean my boss is coming? it's boss night, how also I have the dignity as a woman, sorry! but I don't want to" said Laila strongly reject Arga's orders.

Arga sighed, "This is Laila's family dinner! not eating alone, what are you afraid of", grumbled Arga as if furious at Laila's words.

"That's exactly what, I am the one who participated in the Arga boss's family event," muttered Laila.

"That means if I'm why-why on the street, it's your fault yes," said Arga a little annoyed.

"It's my fault sir, yes yes yes," Laila also relented to escort Arga to her papa's house.

On the way,

"What information have you found about Linda's best friend?" arga asked Laila who was sitting in front.

Laila is confused as to what to answer, she cannot lie, but also does not want to reveal that she is the one.

"I told you, sir, that right now we have to focus on catching Linda's killer" Laila said.

"Yes I know, but I also need to know who the girl is and where she lives, today papa asked to meet, surely I was told to rush marriage, he said, I had to find the girl, otherwise I would have been betrothed" Arga explained, she was not ready to marry another woman, but rather than marry someone else, he prefers to run Linda's will.

Laila who was drinking in the car suddenly choked on hearing Arga's words. Laila herself does not intend to marry Arga, she feels it is enough to keep Arga from criminals, and does not need to take a more serious step.

"what? is she crazy, doesn't know who she is yet, but she's out for Linda's best friend's wedding, I think she'll take her word when she finds out that I'm Linda's best friend," inner Laila was as if shocked at Arga's words.

"The boss does not know the person, what if the person is ugly," said Laila intends to change Arga's mind.

"Friend Linda must not be much different from Linda, Linda is a good person, must be a good friend, I do not care about her physical or appearance," Arga said, making Laila speechless.

papa smiled kindly welcoming his son. "Finally the one who was waiting came too," said Papa.

So does Arga's sweet-smiling stepmother staring at Arga's arrival. Rifki who was sitting in front of Laila, was a little annoyed looking at Laila who was present there. Rifki had misunderstood, thinking Laila was dating.

The atmosphere of the dinner looked awkward, where the stepmother pretended to smile, while her stepson Arga knew how hypocritical her stepmother was always smiling in front of her.

Papa looked at the veiled woman beside Arga, "Who is he?" ask Papa

"He's my personal assistant pa" replied Arga.

"Sorry Arga, instead of mama meddling, but the next time you don't have to bring anyone else on our family show, you're even surprised to see this woman, her appearance is a little strange," said the stepmother in a soft but piercing tone.

Arga smiled cynically, "She's my guy, so I have the right to order her to always be with me, if you say this girl's appearance is strange, she's a girl, I think it's a lot better even if you say the clothes are creepy, no matter what someone looks like, I can still tell which one is good and which one is rotten, even if the rotten one covers the rotten one," assertive Arga who is hooked with the words stepmother.

"See speak you Arga!" papa Melototi Arga.

"Is something wrong? I don't corner anyone, unless that person feels cornered" Arga said, insinuating her stepmother.

"Did your mother teach you this?" the stepmother stared cynically at Arga.

As Arga's eyes glared at him, he began to be provoked emotions, "What do you mean bring my mama, my mama is much better than you, God is all-fair, God is, although you threw me and mama away, but now my life and mama's life are much better than yours" muttered Arga who expressed her frustration all along.

The atmosphere of the dining room was getting hotter, the conflict that always happened now happened again, Arga could not be safe if he met his stepmother. Laila tried to restrain Arga, "Bos Arga, yes, if I can't stay here, no pa pa, I just wait outside" Laila said as she stood up.

"We have to get out of here" Arga said loudly and stood up.

Rifki doesn't want to interfere with her mother's and Arga's problems. After all, he was embarrassed when his mother decided to marry Papa Arga, because he seemed to be the son of another household destroyer.

Arga and Laila get out of the house. Laila looked scared looking at Arga's emotional face.

"Istighfar sir, don't think too much, better now we go home, keep the boss can rest" said Laila to calm Arga.

"Yes you're right, come home" said Arga and immediately boarded the car.

Arga's mood was very chaotic in the car.He still remembered the face of the stepmother who sucks, especially because the stepmother is very hypocritical.

"Emotions are self-destructive, stay calm and focused on the goal, that's what will be useful for us, someone who can not control himself sooner or later will destroy himself," laila was sitting on the front bench.

Hearing Arga's words reminds Arga of Linda who once said the same thing to her. "Why does this girl have so much in common with Linda, why does she say the exact thing Linda used to say," Arga looked at Laila in the front.
