Chapters 10. Only because of Treasure.

Claudia clucked in annoyance upon hearing that. I don't know what reason makes Leo marry a village girl like Hanna, even though the man had promised to marry her.

After making sure Claudia's condition was fine, they then left the hospital and returned to their respective homes.

Leo drove Claudia home to the woman's apartment. He escorted her inside because he intended to stop by for a while at that place.

"I have to go home soon, Claudia," said Leo when he saw that it was now 1 p.m. He must go home soon to rest, because tomorrow there is still work to be done.

Claudia who was sitting next to Leo got up and moved into the lap of the man, making Leo gasp.

"Cla-Claudia, what are you-"

"Sst." Claudia immediately put her index finger over Leo to stop the man's speech. "Don't you miss me, Leo? It's been almost a year you haven't touched me, I've missed your warmth so much." He spoke softly and was right in Leo's ear, making the man brash.

Leo quickly pushed Claudia's body slightly away from her face. "Not now, Claudia. I've been-"

"Married you mean?" cut Claudia quickly, a cynical smile imprinted clearly on her current face. "Don't you say you had to marry that village woman? Then why are you rejecting me now?" He felt unacceptable.

Leo let out a rough breath. "I want you too, baby. But wait a minute, after that I'll take you on your honeymoon wherever you want." He pulled Claudia's face and kissed the woman's forehead.

Claudia clucked in annoyance while turning her face away. "Now tell me why you married that woman, or maybe you really like her?"

"That's right, Claudia. How could I like it" Leo quickly argued. He then tells her the reason why she had to marry Hanna, which turned out to be only for the woman's treasure.

Although Hanna is from a village about 2 hours from the city, but the family of the woman is among the richest in the village.

They own hundreds of acres of land in the village, and there are factories and farms that all belong to Sandy, who is Hanna's real father.

After being married for a year to Hanna, all the property will be Leo's property because Hanna is the only descendant of Sandy even though she has a stepson from her marriage to a woman named Cessy.

However, all the treasure will fall to Hanna according to what Sandy told Leo even though the middle-aged man has not officially said it. Leo marries Hanna, and waits for the age of their marriage to be one year old.

Claudia sighed heavily upon hearing that. "It's up to you how many years you have to be with him, Leo. But let me keep getting your warmth. The village woman will not know. If you knew, I'm sure he wouldn't dare to do anything."

Leo was silent when he heard Claudia's words. Actually, it doesn't matter if he is in love with the woman like before, it's just that somehow he has no interest in doing so at all.

"You're rejecting me?" claudia asked sadly. He looked at Leo with a disappointed look, making the man feel melted.

Meanwhile, elsewhere Hanna was lying on the bed. She felt uneasy waiting for the husband's return, and hopefully her husband was not angry or doing anything else to her.

"Mother, why have I been feeling my life's getting tougher lately." Lirih Hanna while hugging the bolster that was beside her. He felt his life was increasingly heavy when he married Leo, although since his mother died his life was no longer easy.

The next day, right at 8 am Zafran already looked neat and out of his apartment unit to go to work. He glanced towards the apartment unit of Hanna who was still tightly sealed, not knowing the woman was fine or not at the moment.

"Wait, why am I so worried about him?" Zafran shook his head. He then rushed away from the place before strange thoughts filled his head. Looks like he needs healing to get his mind back fresh.

Zafran who was about to enter the elevator fell silent when he saw Leo coming out of the same elevator. It looks like the man's clothes are still the same as the ones he wore last night, which means that last night Leo did not return to the apartment.

"You're not in?" leo asked when he got out of the elevator, making Zafran's daydream stop.

Zafran then nodded his head and got into the elevator, he was lazy to have to let out his voice at this time.

"Wait!"

Zafran, who was about to press the button to go to the ground floor, stopped his hand when he heard Leo's voice, and was seen holding the elevator door closed.

"Thank you for holding onto Hanna's body last night, otherwise it would have been very troublesome" Leo said with a sigh of fatigue. He tilted his head to the right and left making a purplish red mark clearly visible in Zafran's eyes.

Zafran looked at Leo sharply. It turned out that the man was grateful for not being bothered by Hanna, and not for worrying about the woman.

"Then what's on his neck? Isn't that something men and women do when they're making love?"
