Kenan's Destiny

Kenan's Destiny
Warmth In The Morning

"You're not going home? Did your parents not come back from business?" kenan asked when he saw Yuki still sitting on his feet, on the bench next to his house.

The tea on the table no longer reflected the smoke, cold even though it had not been touched at all. Kenan glanced at him before landing the butt next to Yuki sitting down.

"Your tea is cold. Do I need to replace it with a new one?" bargaining Kenan with a tail of eyes glanced at Yuki who was currently holding her chin above her knees.

"Henner!" He called, turning his face to Kenan, "may I stay here for a few more days? I don't know when they'll be back. I was lonely, at home there was only Mom who was busy taking care of homework," he continued with a warm bead to the young man beside him.

Kenan chuckled, he squeaked the nose of Bangir Yuki with his two fingers.

"You can stay here any time, it's just that I'm worried because we're not married. I'm afraid people who know will judge you bad," said Kenan who justified Yuki's heart.

The girl lowered her head back and buried her face on her knees sadly. He always felt lonely when his parents went to do business outside the city for days. The fate of an only child.

"What if we get married? No one's gonna scorn me, right?" his murmur was unclear, but Kenan's ears were still heard.

The young man beside him sighed, staring at the slightly dark-coloured clouds. Maybe it will rain that day, the atmosphere of the morning is not as bright as usual. Cloudy and cloudy even though the sun is trying to show itself.

"Marriage isn't as easy as saying it, Yuki. I need to get your parents' permission because there's no way I'm marrying you without their blessing. Wait until the two come, I promise to come to them and propose to you" Kenan said, looking away at Yuki with a reassuring smile.

The girl flowered to hear it, the warmth spread on the cheeks to the earlobe. He met, then nodded timidly without daring to meet the young man who proposed to him indirectly.

"Sister! I'm hungry, is Brother cooking?" Kiran came looking, the situation of the little girl was better no longer pale like last night.

Kenan and Yuki both turned their heads, smiling at Kiran with her pillow face.

"Cabin, honey. Sitting here with Brother, let our chef cook," called Yuki while waving asking Kiran to come closer.

The little girl stepped slowly, approached and sat on Yuki's lap quietly. He rubbed Kiran's messy hair, rolling it together to make the bun look neater.

"Good!" Kenan stood up while taking a deep breath, "Sister will cook, but you guys should take a shower first." He glared as he chuckled at the embarrassed faces of the two girls of different ages.

"Ready!" The two chuckled, as they went and took a bath together. While Kenan went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for all of them.

A knock on the door paused Kenan's cooking activity. He washed his hands before going to the main door.

"Dad?" He exclaimed a little surprised to see the father standing on the porch, "let's go in!" Kenan opened the door wide of the house letting the middle-aged man enter it.

"Thank you, son. I want to have breakfast with my kids. Here I bring you food, we eat together" he said, smiling with his hands raised a bag of plastic containing the food he bought on his way to Kenan's house.

"Well, I just finished cooking. We eat together" exclaimed Kenan, taking over the bag from his father's hand.

"Can you cook?" Kenan nodded in embarrassment, he rubbed his nape wrong behavior got a gaze full of admiration from his father.

"Where's your sister? I can't wait to taste Dad's kid's cooking." He swallowed his own saliva to see the cuisine that Kenan made seemed appetizing.

"Sir ...!" Kiran was dumbstruck when she saw the old man sitting at their dining table.

"Cabin, honey. We eat together, Dad brings us good food, "call Kenan while showing him the food Alex brought to him. The tall, bearded man smiled at his youngest daughter.

Desire to embrace the child was unbearable, he stared unblinkingly at the face of Kiran who was so similar to his late wife.

"Can Dad hold you?" the door was soft and vibrating.

Kiran glanced at Kenan, as if seeking approval from her brother. Nudge Kenan's head into the answer to Kiran's wordless question.

The little girl stepped slowly closer to the Father who had been standing waiting for her. Alex grabbed the little body, hugged and kissed his head. The longing for the lover is treated when he feels the warmth of the touch of the youngest girl's skin.

"My child! Forgive Dad. Forgive Dad," she said as she continued to kiss Kiran's head full of love and longing.

Kiran's tiny hands lifted, returning the embrace of the Father. Thousands of questions in his mind, he wants to express. They demanded answers about the father's departure. Yuki was moved to see him, he came to Kenan and rubbed the young man's shoulder when he saw him grieving.

Kenan kissed the back of the hand, rubbing it against the cheek skin. How happy he was to see one of his parents present among them. I hope he doesn't leave them again.

"Here you go, Father, Kiran, we'd better get some food." Kenan pulled Yuki's hand to sit on the side chair.

Alex took off a hug, smilingly sweeping the princess's hair gently before lifting her into a sling. He even picked up the little girl and fed her.

"Dad also ate, Kiran bribe." The feeling of haru instantly shrouded Alex's heart. He nodded quickly and opened his mouth as Kiran brought the spoon closer. Kenan was unceasingly grateful in his heart, his eyes could not be separated from the sight before. Really, he's really happy now.

"Taste your brother so good. You must eat well every day" chirped Alex glancing at his eldest son who was smiling proudly.

"Of course, I work at a restaurant. Of course, the cuisine is no less delicious than the dishes in the restaurant" said Kiran proudly.

"Yes?" The little girl nodded quickly.

"What restaurant do you work at, son?" ask Alex to Kenan who didn't say anything.

"At Delli's restaurant, Dad. In the past, I was only a part-time employee now I held the butler there," Kenan replied mentioning the name and the job he was doing. It was nothing, he was just afraid that the man would ask him to stop working.

Alex laughed when he heard it.

"That's yours. You've been working at your own dad's restaurant all this time. I'm sorry I haven't visited that restaurant in a while. It's only Dad's assistant who watches every day so you don't know if your own son works there," Alex says, which successfully makes Kenan hold his breath when he hears it.
