Someone was stiff in space
ICU, lying helplessly on a hospital bed filled with
tools that stick to his body. “What are the things that stick to my mother's body ???”
the words immediately flashed his mind as if to imply that
his life could only depend on those tools.I don't know what tools
it was attached to my mother's body in addition to the oxygen attached to the mouth
the occasional doctor and nurse entered to see the development of the patient.
I was just looking through the window of that room. I don't dare
asked the doctor for the diagnosis because I couldn't
overheard him.
My brother sat down and
he lowered his head to the hospital floor. He did not dare to look at the body
my new home has arrived at the hospital that has not yet turned my body around
sit first on the bench waiting in front of the ICU room. My eyes will not
turned away from my mother's unconscious body aka coma it.
Why ? Why ? What's up ?
I wonder why it could
happened to my family ?. Is God punishing me for negligence
looking after his mother and sister ? or is this a rebuke ? is this God's trial
give because of his affection to a servant ??
My tears drip, drop by drop
without a sound, I was still standing looking at it unconsciously my tears were quite swift
to wet my cheeks.my sister cried even more until sobbing. eyes
and the head stayed down on the floor, like he was haunted by guilt
if you see her brother.
“Ibuu...” Sobs the sister's cry
stammered.
Sometimes he wipes his tears
cause it's been flooding her chubby cheeks.
My voice was like something was holding back.
Can't make a sound like my sister's been sobbing.what's this like
post trauma ?
Someone pulled my arm and
hugging me while crying hysterically, her crying voice was more audible than
julia's sister and break the silence of the space around the ICU. It turns out it's an older sister
my mother's bladder just arrived from Riau with her son and daughter.
they embraced me and strengthened me as a ponakan and cousin to me
my son, I just cried without a sound and they let go
his embrace because I started to look like I was getting sucked in with their embrace.
The situation went back to quiet as before.
we all sat in front of the ICU. The nurse advised
enter alternately and use a sterile suit. I dare not look
mother's condition. I'm afraid I'm gonna get hysterical when I see her and then somebody
the young male doctor came and strengthened me.
“Look at your mother, your mother for sure
waiting for you inside, even if he's still in a coma, but he's more sensitive when his son
see it up close. Said the handsome and young doctor while holding
both hands.
Julia's red eyes looked in the direction
the doctor's hand.
“ We will try our best
to save your mother “ the handsome doctor told Julia.
Julia finally got up
he entered with his brother and the doctor. We have sterile clothes on.
so did his doctor. Julia slowly moved her legs closer
his mother's body until he stopped right in front of his mother's face
he had burns but not severe, he looked at his entire body
his mother was only naked and only wrapped in cloth so that her skin was not
flake off. Living tools attached to his body in addition to adding to the torment
in his body but that's how he still survives against death.
Long enough Julia was glued and
he slowly regressed his body until he finally sat down
the floor while holding back cries and silencing his still-open mouth.
“Hiks..” Julia cried
sobbing.then there he let out his crying voice when he saw
the face of his beloved mother.
“Mother.” sobs Julia split
immediately invited his sister who was also crying.
“Mother.” call Julia
gasp.
The young doctor tried to calm him down
the two sisters also rubbed Julia's shoulders to remain patient.
“Aaaaaa,..” cried Julia.
getting louder.
God, why did you give me
a trial so heavy for us ? I can't bear to lose him
! Julia fell to the ground unable to see the condition of her mother.
Julia tried to rub
his chest sobbing and occasionally looking at his mother's body from below.
his little sister could only be stunned crying within 1 meter of him.
