JOKO SPECIAL AGENT

JOKO SPECIAL AGENT
084 - BOWO, THE MASTERMIND BEHIND IT ALL.

Bowo picked up one of the ledgers containing a sheet of paper and,

“We will reduce staff for the Bureau of Foreign Affairs, while adding staff to strengthen domestic intel. This is not much different from what I said before.”

“You can read it and quickly sign it.”

Bowo's words sounded like an imposition for Sugeng, for him to agree to what Bowo was planning.

“I don't think I can do that. It's not a simple matter and it's as easy as you can imagine. You want to overhaul all the agents here? What are you planning?” tanya Sugeng was suspicious.

“I must discuss this matter with the Bureau of Foreign Affairs, before I agree to it,” Sugeng said.

“Good. I think we've had enough to discuss this matter. Please sign this right now, Mr.”

Bowo chuckles with himself and forces Sugeng to sign the deal.

Move in Rina's room. It looks like Rina who is cleaning up all the items that are still in her study.

Lina took all her belongings, packed them in a big box. Lina took a photo and looked at it for a moment.

In the photo, there are Rina, Aji, and also Tini's father who has disappeared for a long time, with the news that Tini's father has changed all identities, as well as his face.

Rina again puts the photo in the drawer, leaving it in the workspace, which Aji will occupy.

When he finished with that, Tri entered into Rina's room.

“Bu. Are you sure you're leaving the agency?” ask Tri who still does not want Rina to resign.

“Why is your face like that?” asked Rina who saw Tri enter her room.

“Some people might look at you and think that I will stop completely, in fact it is not like that. I will continue to handle this case even alone.”

Lina smiled at Tri, then went back to preparing the items she was going to bring home.

“Let me take your things to the car, Bu.”

Tri helps Rina, lifting the remaining one, taking her to Rina's car.

Lina just smiled looking at Tri who still cared so much about her.

Lina came out, left the room. In the hallway of the building, Rina meets with Aji who will move and occupy her room, as well as replace her to become the new Commissioner.

The two of them crossed paths and stopped their steps from each other.

“Pak Aji's. Do you think it's over?”

“Is there any other business between you and me? I think we have no business, whatever it is,” said Aji Ketus.

Lina just smiled a little and nodded her head.

“From now on, you won't be able to fight me anymore, because I'm not part of you. You should remember that, Mr. Aji.”

Rina confirmed Aji's tie that looked less tidy, and said,

“This is the real start. You should know that better and you should be prepared for all the possibilities that will happen.”

Rna resumes her steps, leaving Aji behind.

Rina bowed and paid her respects, as her apology to the country, on her vows and promises she had not kept to protect the country.

On the sidelines of Rina paying her last respects, Joko came to the place to meet with Rina.

Joko stood right behind Rina who was paying her respects and apologies for the oaths and promises that had not been fulfilled.

“Melegend once. I thought I wouldn't meet you again. I'm happy to meet you at this place,” greet Rina who realizes Joko is coming.

Joko stepped up, and stood right next to Lina.

“Our organization has been loyal to the government, not the country. The Bureau of Homeland Intelligence led by Bowo is the center of it all.”

“They used a lot of intel against some people with influence and power. Someone has to stop it all.”

“We have to drain the Home Bureau that is swelling up big, and turning into a powerful and influential intelligence agency, because that's what we're really for. The purpose of this organization was established.”

“We have to show a surprising appearance to do that. Only then, our bureau will be more powerful and able to restore the actual purpose of the agency.”

Rina said at length, giving joko some encouragement.

“Lantas, why did you resign like you are now? You should have fought to the end, instead of resigning like this,” said Joko.

“There's nothing I can do for now, Joko. I have to take responsibility for my own words.”

Lina smiled at Joko.

“Is there nothing else you're looking for? Is there anything else you're still trying to hide, whatever it is?” ask Joko.

“You yourself have also hidden something. Don't you feel that you've been hiding about Imron's death? Something you forgot when you made that report.”

“You strongly believe all the things you know are the only truth, don't you? Do you know, what I've realized over the years?”

“Truth. Truth cannot be monopolized. The truth may be different for everyone. It will depend where you stand.”

Joko continued to listen and understand Rina's words.

“Then who are you on whose side, for now?” ask Joko.

“Are you going to believe me, if I tell you?”

Rina smiled slightly at Joko.

“Ah. Can I ask you a favor? Replace me to keep an eye on Director Aji. And also one more thing, I seem to know, who is the traitor of our agency.”

“Who is it?” ask Joko curiously.

“Bowo. But you have to make sure of that first. Alright. See you soon, Joko.”

Rina walked away from Joko.

Two months passed after Rina's departure. At that time within the agency there will be a massive overhaul for all the agents who are there.

The good news is, Joko gets something that can convince her that it is true, what has been said by Rina. Bowo was a traitor.

Inside a large enough room, all the executive directors and other higher-ups were gathered to discuss something.

Inside the gathering, Tri brought a laptop, then played a video. The video was a video of Joko three years ago, before she erased her own memories.
