JOBBING

JOBBING
[07] The New World

A girl, who is still innocent, who I believe is also sure she will not feel at home living in that creepy house. Girl as tall as my shoulders–who sometimes pisses me off at her reaction–Joba said she never got a life that made her happy either. Until he was destined to meet me. And I have to be with him.

Yes, even though yesterday I had agreed to this fact, but I don't know why I doubted the decision I believed. I don't think I'm willing to give up my peaceful life yet. And why I'm getting the feeling I'm gonna have a big responsibility.

"Hey come on Avlein! Why are you like this? And anyway I also know you really like new things." joba stopped my thinking. And glanced at him who was now beginning to approach me.

"You know on your own, why I can doubt my beliefs. It's all because you didn't explain it to me. And now there's something you can't explain anymore. What book is that? Even he's of no use at all because of the language I can't understand!" obviously I am long with my voice high enough.

I just want to throw all this anger. Until when I have to be patient. There I was getting dizzy thinking about it and it was all the same that I had started to move away from the peace of my life.

"Calm Avlein. You'll understand all this soon. I promise that."

I just threw my gaze from Joba while grunting with great annoyance, I'm sure the answer will always be like that. It's free to think I kept arguing about this with him.

Then went to lay my body against Joba. I no longer want to look at him, rather than getting upset. I decided to close both my eyes.

Avlein ....

I vaguely heard someone calling my name. Makes me slowly open one of my eyes–followed with her one more eye because of the strange look I see today. As soon as I sat down from my bed. All white. Thick fog. Trying to shake both my hands to get rid of the fog, it was still free.

I began to run aimlessly, panic began to permeate my soul. Just this time I felt my heart beat faster than usual. Even beating my heart beat when I found that old geezer who gave Joba, disappeared in a matter of seconds.

I'm pretty sure this isn't a dream. And it also reminds me of one thing to avoid panic–Joba–which he said would lead me.

"Joba where are you?! Don't mess with me!" I shouted later and only the sound of my voice returned.

Back I fumbled around me– and started to continue my footsteps hoping that there was one thing I managed to touch.

Avlei ....

I heard a voice saying my name. Immediately I led to the source of the sound of it–lashed this endless white mist.

Close is getting closer.

I was getting closer to the black shadow that I had faintly seen from a distance. No matter what figure I would meet up ahead, I obviously had to meet someone this very second.

I finally managed to reach the shadow. Who just threw his smile at me. Someone or not even human? I don't know what kind of creature he is. Because his face was very different. But having hair and even wearing clothes like humans. But I doubt all that.

I also can't guess she's a woman or a man who obviously she's taller than me–about a meter above me. With her pale skin, long bluish white hair and silver, she had a younger face. When compared with the age of humans, he is around the age of 25-30s.

And the last one. His eye. What eye is that? His eyeballs are yellow and his eyes are blue. It made me very sure that he was no longer a human being.

"Hey, I'm a living being. Stop thinking weird!" her mouth started to come to me and I was shocked to find that answer. It was Joba's voice. But why is it like this.

"And I brought them too!" again, he spread his right hand. Showing two boys–around five years old–who have been smiling wide at me showing their canines. The other has a slightly full body.

Instantly they immediately ran up to me making me fall sitting down below. While they were content to hug me while weeding my cheeks.

Bogi and Bogu.

Yes they both are. Looks like a human. Their ears are long and have unique eyes. Flip Flop–Blue and yellow. They were twins with short blond hair. One thing that makes them not ordinary people. On their foreheads, there was a black circle like a hole.

What are these creatures? And what is this place exactly?

"It's not your world anymore Avlein. So you see our look like this. This is our true form." I nodded slowly at that explanation. Begin to believe a little that the hidden world is true. But, is this the place?

"Maybe it's one of those worlds. But you've been to this place a lot. Even yesterday you were just here. You're the only one who can't remember it." said Joba again began to step forward. While I got up from my seat I went to follow him from behind–Bogi and Bogu walked with my left and right hands.

"We have a purpose here" he said again stopping his steps and his hands began to lift. I haven't had the chance to blink my eyes, all the thick fog was immediately blown away and vanished out of nowhere. What an amazing event.

On the other hand I just realized that I was in a different place. A truly remarkable place. You're not gonna believe any of this.

We're all in a hallway that I don't think we'll ever find the end of. And the wall of this place that keeps us all glued. It was a bookcase that reached the ceiling. About fifteen to twenty meters towering over–then disappeared from behind the white fog that covered it. What came to my mind, this was definitely not a room anymore.

We continued walking until we finally found the end of the hallway - a wall. More precisely a dead end. I was amazed to look at Boba. While he just smiled a little and started to throw his hands into his coat pocket– pulled out a gold card. Immediately stick it on the wall. Which suddenly caused a crack.

The truck... The truck...

BUUMS!

The wall exploded. Made me spontaneously cross my arms over my head.– thought I would be hit by the shattered rocks.

Butno.

Not a single stone was thrown far away even touching the ground, it just shattered into dust and disappeared into the wind that was out of nowhere. Showing a pitch-black room with one lighting in front of it. And we walked towards that light.

A chair and a table made of wood were under the lighting we saw earlier. Now I have landed my body on that chair. Waiting for someone to come. While Joba, Bogi and Bogu were just standing in front of me also waiting for the arrival of that person. Shortly after, a faint light appeared in front of me. I'm sure that guy is heading my way.

"No. He's behind you Avlein!" joba exclaimed, making me look directly at my head back. And yes someone very tall is already standing behind me– wrapped in his white robe. Even his height exceeds the height of Joba. The only thing I can't believe is his face. I'm sure that his age has exceeded that of an ancestor. He's very old. But not slouching at all.

"Come .... "

At first with a slight tone of voice, went past me to approach Joba, immediately hugged and raised him. "A long time no friends!" He began to shake his embrace.

"Please don't treat me like this in front of him, Arlmen!"

"Oh I'm sorry! Anyway, I miss you so much Joba!" his reply again now threw his gaze at me. Our eyes meet. Those red eyes slowly began to narrow like they were doubting something. "And... Is this him? Much younger than before!"

"You're the one getting older, Arlmen. Because that was all you said long ago!"

"And young man, please sit back. You just have to wait here and follow my orders." he continued, which amazed me a little. He just walked up to me with a very fast movement. Just didn't expect an ancestor to be able to make such a quick move.

"Just calm down young man, even though I am old, I still have an unacceptable energy of your logical thinking" he said, making me shudder a little. Oh well it turns out he's just like Joba. And I just didn't think about it until there. Makes him chuckle slowly away disappearing into the darkness.

Moments later he appeared again in front of me–who had just smashed a very thick book on the table. Making the dust in the book managed to hit my face and I'm sure it's been dirty all over this face. A little bit of a cough I started wiping it with my hands.

"Oh I'm sorry, but no one's dirtying your face Avlein. You will remain handsome." he said again a little chuckling and immediately sat down before me so as to adjust our gaze. "And I also forgot to introduce myself" he continued, now extending his enormous hand before me. Soon I received that offer.

"My name is Arlmento, you can call me whatever you want. I'm the keeper of this place, Emard's world." Clearly again let go of that hand. And I just smiled back at it because I was sure I didn't have to explain it anymore. He already knows everything.

"Yes and you saw for yourself what this place is. Many books are heading towards this place, and even in front of you right now there is a very thick book. This is the world of science. What do you want to learn, all you can learn here!" he continued again managed to make me nod understandingly clarify all this.

"And now you have to learn all this!" he hit the cover of a book that was about 60 centimeters thick. Getting both of my eyebrows raised thought I heard him wrong. "No, you're right to learn all this, because that's what you need."

I just snorted annoyedly at receiving it. Why should I even learn. But my frustration disappeared after seeing the writing on the book. I'm sure I've seen these letters. But I guess right now I don't have time to think about it.

"Done!" the chirps cover the back cover of the thick book. The astonished me still poked my eyes a few times. Because it feels like it hasn't been long since I got upset. Even I don't think it's two hours. So fast did I learn all this?

"Yes you understand Avlein! Now you don't have to worry anymore. You've mastered all these languages. The language of some of the worlds you'll meet next." I nodded in understanding hearing it. No need to ask anymore, I'm sure the answer will definitely be the same as Joba. They must have explained a little.

I also got up from my seat because I saw Arlmen who had moved from his position. Don't forget to say thank you so much for helping me out of my doubts.

He replied to all that with a hug and yes who definitely raised my body to the top– made my face sink in front of his chest. Wiggling his arms and that really sucks. I finally knew the reason why Joba was annoyed at receiving this treatment.

And at that moment when his embrace came off I was back in my room. While Arlmen disappeared slowly. Makes me really gape at the sight of all those events.
