Chapter 19's

Xavier closes the door to his in-laws room and Anna is next to him. They came out because Savannah was asleep. They passed by the living room and saw David and Maggie still there.

Xavier invites Anna to approach them. Although Anna looks reluctant, but eventually she comes along too.

"Mommy same daddy hasn't come home yet? Sorry about the incident. " Xavier said politely.

David stood up and looked at Anna. "What's wrong. But Anna, wouldn't it be better for your mother to be hospitalized? " David proposes because he feels his son is too heavy if he continues to take care of Savannah himself.

But Anna was just pecking with teary eyes. It hurts, it hurts a lot. David doesn't even care about his mother. He only thinks about himself. And that made him angry.

"He's now in training. " She said and put rice in her mouth.

Anna turned off the TV that was broadcasting the news. Continuing her hopes were delayed due to the scandal news. Xavier just dreaded his shoulder because he did not know what was really going on. Anna hides her series.

They looked down in fear of his angry boss.

Just as Hwang Deuk-gu sighed, his phone rang again.

Hwang Deuk-gu looked up and looked at the president pleading.

The name of President David William Greyson was on the table. A table full of pictures of Anna and Maggie.

David opened his eyes and looked at the smiling photo of Anna. Swiping it slowly, implied a deep longing in the eyes of David when remembering how their memories were.

David had no regrets when his daughter was born in this world. He only felt like he had failed to become a father when he saw the disappointment in Anna's eyes. Even the hatred grew so much that the distance between them grew even further.

David even hesitates if he can get his daughter back the way she used to. It's impossible for him. David felt his wealth was meaningless even now, his heart was empty and hollow. Even the remorse for Maggie was still in effect.

Anna sat in class listening to a song with earphones in her ears. After a week, he finally got back to school. Even though his forehead is still stuck in plaster.

As Anna closed her eyes suddenly her earphones were loose next door, making her open her eyes and see Eve coming up with food.

Eve nodded her head and ate.

"You know Anna. Barbara and eun jae disappeared suddenly, the students were still gossiping about it as well. " Say Eve.

"What's? Gone off? " Ana asked confusedly.

"Yes. Missing. Even their company went bankrupt within a few hours. " Answer Eve.

Anna flinch when Eve says their company is bankrupt. Anna remembers being taken care of and Eun Jae's father prostrating himself before her begging for mercy. Does this have anything to do with Xavier? Maybe it?

"Anna. What was? Does your head hurt? " Tanya Xavier when she saw Anna was seen panting with sweat pouring out.

Xavier's face was shriveled and flat. Anna looked at him sharply. They stared at each other, until a smile rose on Xavier's lips.

Anna looked at that smile, a smile that Anna felt was as different as Xavier's smile at her. That smile looked cold and scary.

"Anna Hallo. It's nice to meet you. " Say Xavier in a different tone.

Anna still looked at him in confusion.

"You confused.? I'm Jekyll. And this is the first time we met. " Say Xavier is calm.

Anna kept staring at Xavier until she came to a realization as the eyes looked different. More dense than Xavier's original color. What the hell's going on?

Anna tried to figure it out in her mind until one came to her mind. His eyes faded and looked at Xavier in disbelief.

"You... You're... "

Anna stuttered, even her voice choked. He doesn't believe what he thinks. All this time, all he saw was Xavier looking fine. Then, how. How can.?

His heart felt pinched as Xavier's soothing smile glimmered. Until that doubt arises.
