Chapter 17's

David and Maggie head straight to the hospital when they hear their daughter is having a disaster. They were worried about their daughter. After arriving, they immediately rushed into Anna's room and saw her daughter's condition.

Maggie closed her mouth and glazed over her glasses. Seeing his daughter's terrible condition made his heart plunge strongly.

"What... What happened Xavier? What happened to my daughter.! " Tanya Maggie yelled in frustration at Xavier.

David tried to calm Maggie down and walked out of the room. He didn't want to make a scene in his daughter's room.

"Quiet darling. We're in the hospital. You can't scream like that. Poor Anna. " Say David rubbed his wife's back.

"My daughter David. My daughter. You see, my daughter has a bruised face and her head is on a bandage. What happened to David. What the hell happened? Why can't I protect her. I'm a bad mother. " Maggie keeps ragging about blaming herself for not being on the scene.

"If I had been at school, this wouldn't have happened, if I hadn't gone out it wouldn't have happened to David. " Said Maggie who still blames herself.

Maggie kept crying in David's arms. While Xavier was moved beside Anna's bed with a blank look.

His eyes looked up at Anna gently. Her tongue rubbed Anna's face with a heart. His eyes fell on Anna's injured lip. Xavier's blood instantly boiled as he imagined how Anna had gotten the wound.

His jaw hardened and his teeth churned in anger.

"What happened to Xavier? " The sound of the baritone behind him made Xavier turn his head.

Xavier stood up and looked at the man.

"Help me, daddy.! " Pinta Xavier is full of emphasis.

Andrew looked at his son. He'd never seen Xavier so horrible like this. What was on his son's mind, gave him goosebumps.

"What can daddy help you with? " Ask Andrew.

Xavier entered Anna's room and saw her still weakly lying on the bed. Opening his coat and draping it on the sofa, Xavier wanted to get to Anna but before that he had to clean his hands first.

Xavier entered the bathroom and washed his hands, there was a wound on his hand. He looked at his hands flatly and washed them. There was no pain he felt. Even his heart felt empty and empty.

After washing his hands, he washed his face and looked at the mirror in front of him. The sudden flash of memory that came in Xavier's mind made him growl.

Upon opening, Xavier's eyes returned to how they had been. His face remained flat. He then came out of the bathroom and sat next to his wife.

Anna still remembered the man's face. The middle-aged man was the father of park eun jae. The biggest donor in school. But, why could eun jae's father be like that?
